When your dog stays with me, it’s more than boarding—it’s a personalized, safe, and loving experience while you’re away. ❤️ During weekdays (Monday–Friday), while I’m at the office, dogs enjoy a structured and comfortable routine. Each morning begins with an hour of playtime, either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, they relax in their own separate, private room, providing a calm and secure space just for them. Midday includes supervised outdoor play and exercise, followed by a rest period from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM back in their private room. I monitor each dog throughout the day using an indoor camera to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Outside of these hours, your pup will have plenty of opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play, engaging games, mentally stimulating activities, and special treats. I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Visiting pups can roam freely, explore multiple toy bins, enjoy tasty treats (lamb, duck, chicken, turkey, or beef), lounge on the couch for snuggles, or watch a movie with me. Supervised outdoor fun is a big part of the day too—dogs can run in the backyard, play fetch with a ball, cool off in a splash pool, or chase water from a sprinkler. Every stay is packed with love, exercise, and adventures. To keep all current and future furry guests safe and healthy, proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required. Milo loves taking walks & exploring new surroundings & Craig spoiled him by taking them for walks at least 2-3x a day! Milo usually doesn’t interact well w/ other dogs but Craig sent us pictures of Milo walking & sleeping side by side with another dog. Milo was so calm that he never even barked when we picked him up. About: My husband and I always had a pack of rescues. Large, small, sick, old. We had no children so our pets were our children. My husband passed away and I recently just lost my last fur baby. I want to travel a bit so pet sitting is going to be my substitute for a while. I love cats but unfortunately I'm highly allergic. I currently work remotely but will be retiring shortly. My daily routine is wide open. I've always had one or more dogs so my routine has always been focused on their care. My last 3 were older boys with medical conditions so my life was focused on their care. I can accommodate crates or not, whatever your babies need. I do not have a fenced in yard so when they go outside they will always be on a leash.

Back in May, as a first-time user of Rover, I created 3 separate bookings with a sitter who had glowing reviews. However, on the day of our meet & greet—only 1 week before our first trip—she completely ghosted us. I nearly panicked because I didn’t think we’d be able to find an available sitter on such short notice. I hopped back on Rover, entered my dates, filtered by Star Sitters, and hit “search.” Red was at the top of my search results, and after looking over her profile, I felt like she may be a good choice. Although her calendar showed her as available for the dates of our trip, I was prepared to be let down. I sent her a message explaining our situation. Not only did she respond quickly, she also responded with kindness & empathy. Best of all, she was available to sit for our beloved kitty! AND she volunteered to come over the next morning for a meet & greet! Less than 24 hours after reaching out to her, Red messaged me to let me know she was on her way to my house. Upon opening my door, I immediately liked her. Seriously. She just radiates this incredible energy! She is also so kind, compassionate, and engaging. She explained how she has devoted her life to caring for animals, and she just lit up as she was telling us about it. Best of all? Sassy, our shy & anxious kitty, came out of hiding pretty quickly to investigate her, and by the end of the visit, was giving Red love rubs on her leg! This was unprecedented, and we were absolutely shocked. Sassy’s response to meeting Red left no doubts in our mind; we had chosen the perfect caretaker for our precious kitty. We booked Red for two of our three camping trips. This review is based on our second booking with her, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her! She is the sweetest person! And an excellent communicator, which is vital for us anxious pet parents who are forced to leave our beloved (and vulnerable!) pets home alone. I had no qualms leaving Sassy alone this second time because I knew that Red would take excellent care of her…and she absolutely has! I am so sad that Red is not available for our third trip, but if she’s available next summer, you can bet I will be booking her!”

About: My love for cats started years ago when I watched my neighbors cats every-time she would go on vacation. I then got my own cat 5 years ago after she started appearing in my backyard. More recently I took in a pregnant mom and one of her five kittens 🥹. I am also working on finding care for 6 strays in my backyard. Cats are everywhere in my life and I cannot get enough of them.

About: I’ve done a lot of puppy raising and training. I have had 6 labs that I have raised and trained from 6 weeks old on. I also have experience with senior dogs, giving medication and helping them to get around and be comfortable. I would love to watch your new puppy while you are away for the day or longer. I can help with basic training socialization. I am occasionally subbing for special education at a school at the corner of my street. If I happen to get called into sub I am able to come home at lunch only leaving the dogs for a few hours at a time. I have a 5 year old yellow Labrador that is very friendly and gets along very well with other dogs. I have a spacious, fully fenced yard—and a built-in companion! Dogs I welcome into our home are treated like part of the family, just like our own beloved fur baby. I also have a crate available, which our dog uses freely whenever she wants a cozy spot to relax.

About: I grew up always having animals in the house so I’ve always connected really naturally with them and loved being around them. I’m an artist, so I have a pretty patient and calm personality, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, going on walks, playing, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. For friends, family, and some strangers, I have been someone to lean on when it came to checking on, playing with, or walking their fur babies! I workout consistently so I can always enjoy a good walk. I have a dog with a heart condition and took care of an elderly dog that I had my whole life so I can easily adapt to the environment each pup needs! I am currently a freelance graphic designer and photographer which allows for a lot of free time and a flexible schedule! My days consist of spending time outside, working out, and playing with my own fur babies! I have 2 dogs myself, a large shiloh shepherd and a pomeranian yorkie so I have experience walking and playing with both large and small dogs!

My beloved Australian Shepherd, Ace, was my best friend for 14½ years, and we completed obedience training together twice. I am available to be around and take care of your pet most hours of the day unless I have an event I am working in the evening, then I would make sure I leave and return in timely fashion. When taking care of your pet at your home, if there is a fenced yard, I like to know if there are any holes or possible escape artists. If there is not fence I will keep your pet on a leash at all times
About: Hello! My name is Ashlie. I am 27 years old and I had a golden retriever for 13 years, and a golden doodle for a year now. The golden doodle is a family dog which is at my parents house!! I have a 2 year old cat that lives in my house. I had a maltese living with me for a little over a year and my cat and her got along well. Also, I watched my friends cat (the dark grey one cuddling me) for 3 months. I’ve also watched a 3 month old cane corso for 3 months. All while having my cat at the house. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I have been surrounded by dogs since I was born and have had a dog since then. We have always had cats as well and they are all treated like royalty. Pets truly are a part of the family and I will be sure to treat and care for yours as I would my own! About: I have cared for my grand dogs and friends’ dogs for years. Our whole family will shower your dog with love and attention! We love to send pictures of the dogs having fun or napping on the couch! I am a stay at home, home-schooling mom who has lots of time in our home to care for your dog. We are home most of the time available to give your dog all the attention they need. I have a fenced in yard. My kids love to make friends with dogs that we have watched. We have a large dog crate available if your dog is crate trained. We take their care very seriously and follow owners requests and directions.
