“Diana was prompt, responsive and reliable! She was great to work with and I felt so much relief leaving my pets in good hands while I was away. Thank you Diana! Will absolutely rebook soon”

About: I have worked as a pet boarder and sitter on Rover for about a year. Having previously worked as a certified nursing assistant, I have experience as a caregiver, and one of my greatest passions is caring for pets. Dogs and cats are members of a family, and it is so important to care for them as you would any other family member. I have several years of experience boarding dogs for their owners when they have been on vacation, and have also cared for my own animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience as an animal transporter for West Hancock canine rescue, in which I would work with a team to take dogs and cats from high kill shelters to foster homes or rescues. I also have a wonderful dog I rescued, Ollie, who is friendly and likes to play with other dogs at times. I’m working part-time so have time to play with pups! And our family loves animals, so it’s a great fit for us to pet sit, and we like providing a home environment for owners who need to travel. I provide a calm, safe and fun environment for pets to play. Provide walks and let pets out regularly. I believe it’s important to attend to all feeding and medication needs as a high priority.

“Christina is awesome. She takes my 5 month old puppy on walks, and she absolutely loves her. She gives updates as well so I know she’s in good hands while I’m gone at work.”

About: When it comes to your pets, you want them to have the best care there is. My animals are my children. So, I understand the need to feel secure and confident when choosing a pet-sitter. I will treat your pet(s) as if they are my own and give them as much attention and love as they rightfully deserve. You can rest assured they will be in safe, trustworthy and above all, loving hands while you are away. I am competent working with large and small breeds of dogs ,cats (all temperaments), and exotics. Given my veterinary training, I am proficient in identifying emergencies and critical situations that may require veterinary attention should they arise. I'm comfortable with administering medications, following strict feeding/health regiments, and caring for senior, special-needs animals and animals/currently undergoing strict medical regiments. I pride myself in my promptness and ability to strictly adhere to any and all instructions provided. Playtime and walks are an important part of your animal's daily routine and enrichment. During your pet's time with me, I will ensure they receive adequate stimulation and the same quality of care you provide them at home. You can also expect daily pictures and updates of your pet while you are away. A few facts about me and my qualifications: Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. Growing up, I've had several dogs, cats, birds and other various exotics. Currently, I am lucky to be the proud parent of 4 cats. They are my world!! I recently moved to the area from Bonita Springs, FL, where I was a full time vet tech of several years. Veterinary medicine and caring for animals is my calling in life, and I cannot imagine doing anything else. I love being able to help the members of my community and their fur babies! I also volunteered at a wolf sanctuary for 10 years where I was heavily involved with animal husbandry and medication administration. I am available weekdays and weekends to provide your pet(s) the ultimate care. I am detail oriented and am used to caring for multiple animals at once (including sick or recovering). When staying at a client's home or dropping in for a visit/walk I am respectful of your space first and foremost. I am also extremely cautious when entering a home so as not to let animals out as that is my #1 worry with my own animals. I am also a neat freak and will leave your space as you found it.

“Deidre was AMAZING with my with two pups and can’t RECOMMEND her enough! Unfortunately, one of my dogs became very ill before I left for vacation and required extensive, round the clock care. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. Overall, I am very grateful for her help and it truly put my mind at ease knowing Deirdre could be there to take care of them! Thank you again!”

“Shannon was prompt and did a great job walking my dog! I will use her again:)”

“Sophia is the absolute best! My dogs can be tough and she took time to make them comfortable, and was so sweet to them. She sent many cute pics and videos which was so nice for me to see while I am away. I’m definitely rebooking and so thrilled with my experience. I highly recommend!”

About: I have been watching my neighbors dogs for the past 17 years. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. Since I am young and active, I can take your dog on walks and provide plenty of exercise throughout the day. Additionally, I can provide overnight sitting and ensure your house looks occupied. I am more than happy to bring in your mail/packages, water your plants, adjust the blinds, turn on and off lights, bring garbage cans to the curb (and back) for trash pick up. I have a cat of my own named Oliver so I also have years of experience with cat care! I can come check on your feline friend and will feed, refresh water, play, and clean the litter box as needed. I am very free during the summer. During the week I can stop by anytime during the day, as well as provide overnight care. I am also free most weekends. I understand it is hard to leave your furry friend so I really do go out of my way to put pet owner's at ease. I will consistently provide updates and photos so you know you are in good hands.

About: Aside from having my own personal dogs in home most of my life I have been volunteering working with and training rescues for 2 years now. Two hours in the Morning, two hours around lunch and all evenings are all free to care for the pets. Walks, fetch and training all available. If dogs are kid and animal friendly I will be able to give them lots of socialization in those environments plus lots of outdoor activity. Have experience working with dogs that don’t interact with other dogs very well.

“Very patient and understanding of all the needs of my young pup!!”

“I am new to the area and staying at an extended stay for the time being. Scott was super understating”

“Elizabeth did a great job. Ella is a little bit of a problem dog for walkers. She is a rescue so is protective of her home and doesn’t like to leave the yard unless with me. Elizabeth got her to walk around enough to pee at least in the yard. Next time we hope a little better, out the drive and down the street a little. 🦮”

About: I’ve always babysat for neighbors pets since i was 12. And have been caring for my own for 15 years now. It’s definitely my passion. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule. I don’t have anything that would get in the way of caring for peoples pets right now. Woo hoo! I have a dog and lizard currently. My dog is SUPER friendly and loves meeting new fur friends. We go to dog parks a lot.

About: I grew up with animals and have always loved caring for them — mainly cats, but I can’t forget the gerbils, bunnies, reptiles, you name it! Although I’ve grown up with cats, I love dogs just as much and have spent the last 5-7 years walking and looking after dogs of all sizes for friends and family. As a babysitter, I know that pets aren’t just a part of the job — they are family! I truly enjoy spending time with animals, whether that involves long walks or some serious playtime (honestly, I think I might have more fun playing than they do). I’m well informed on pet care and safety, and I always prioritize their well-being and safety. You can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and treat your pets like my own. Caring for animals isn’t just a job—it’s truly my joy. I’m currently home from college for the summer. Having just finished a summer course, I have nothing but free time until September! I’m very flexible and happy to help where I’m needed, whether that may be scheduled in advance or on short notice. I am big on going on walks for exercise, so bringing your dog along with me is not only easy but preferable! I have a big backyard where your pet can play, but because I have two cats, I don’t take long dog stays at my home. I’m more than happy to care for your pets in your home and will always follow any instructions you provide me! I can crate your dog if needed, spend time outside for potty breaks (and clean up after!), play with them, and take them for as many walks as you (or your pet) want. I’m very experienced with house sitting through years of babysitting (most of my clients have dogs) and am very comfortable staying in your home for a few nights to keep your fur babies company. I’m a great rule follower, so let me know what it is you’d like from me and I’m happy to help you out! I’m very flexible, easy to work with, and happy to work with you to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs for as long as I can remember. I currently have labs who I have trained starting from when they were puppies. Lastly, I love going on long walks!! I am currently a student at Iowa State so my schedule can be pretty flexible depending on the day. Mornings and nights works best for longer periods and midday works best for quicker stops. I treat any pet like they are my own and will be sure to give them lots of belly rubs. I will always respect the owners wishes and any home I go into.

“Kat was my fur kid\house sitter during a time when I had 3 dogs and 4 cats, and 2 of the cats also required special medical and diet needs. She was able to provide all those needs plus took the time to give extra love and and attention for their happiness! I am the type of person where leaving my fur kids for any duration usually gives me tremendous anxiety. However Kat’s additional attention, expertise in animal knowledge, and frequent updates always put my mind at ease while away. Their should be no hesitation in trusting her care of your fur kids :)”

“Sydney is one of my closest friends and one of the few people I trust to look after my furry friends. She has so much love for animals, as she has her own black lab and two guinea pigs. My dog, Duncan, recognizes her car and gets so excited to see her every time, and I know your pets will react just the same. :)”

Punctual, professional and really great with my pup, I’m so grateful to Angela and would highly recommend her!

Angela was terrific with our puppy! He can sometimes pull when he’s excited, but she took it all in stride and seemed happy to walk him. And he really took to her too!
