About: Hi there! My name is Sarah and I am a lover of all animals. I grew up my whole life with cats and taking care of my neighbors/friends dogs. When I was 11, I even made my own business cards to pass out around the neighborhood to advertise my petsitting "business". I am now the momma of two furry children, a long haired domestic cat named Basil and a red golden retriever named Fisher. I know the importance of these pets in your life. Because I have felt the worries of leaving them in the hands of someone else, I felt inspired to become a pet sitter myself! I have cared for a number of types of different animals including dogs, cats, birds, and weasels. I am open to pets who require medication as well as young puppies as I have just gone through this age myself with Fisher. I promise to take the best care of your furry friends and hope to put your mind at ease while you're away :) I currently work a flexible schedule, so my availability is typically open! Aside from the occasional schedule conflicts, I am in the Ferndale/ metro Detroit area full time and am available mornings, afternoons, or evenings. As for a clients home, I am flexible on the type of place/amenities you have to provide your pets. I would follow any instructions and requests provided!

My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. My availability to watch your dog is very flexible. I work from home a most days a week so it is a high chance that I could work from home while caring for your pup. I am a very caring person. I have a PhD in human development and family science and work in the social work field. I have a giant heart and would love to care for your doggie! I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, timely feedings, regular potty breaks, and plenty of play and cuddle time. About: I've been around dogs my entire life. I grew up in a home with dogs and on a family farm where we cared for around 12 dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Those experiences taught me how to understand dog behavior, recognize when dogs need space, and provide patient, attentive care. More recently, I've raised and trained my own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Apolo, from puppyhood using positive reinforcement. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), and maintaining each dog's routine. Safety is always my top priority, and I closely supervise all interactions while paying attention to dogs' body language to ensure everyone remains comfortable. Your dog's safety and comfort are my highest priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and secure home where dogs are always supervised. I take the time to help new dogs settle in at their own pace and carefully monitor all interactions to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. My home has a securely fenced backyard for supervised outdoor play, and dogs are never left outside unattended. Inside, they have plenty of space to play, relax, or nap depending on their personality and energy level. Fresh water is always available, and I'm happy to follow your dog's feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any other special care needs. To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, I only accept dogs that are fully potty trained, friendly with other dogs, and comfortable in a home setting. If your dog has a history of aggression or difficulty interacting with other dogs, my home may not be the best fit. Whenever possible, I like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the first daycare visit to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care small, I'm able to provide each dog with plenty of individual attention while maintaining a safe and positive environment. I'll also send regular photo and video updates throughout the day so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I have had dogs since I was born. I have experience dealing with training puppies as well as dealing with senior dogs. I will follow your instructions for care to the T because I know how important it is for dogs to have stable training and schedules. I will take your dog to the park, out on a walk, on a run, or with me around town. In my mind dogs are part of the family and I will treat them as one of my own for as long as I have the privilege to take care of them. I have two rescues, both fixed that get along great with other dogs. I foster for several rescues so i know how to deal with different temperaments of dogs. Your dog will receive the same care as mine and all the same walks/runs/play time. I work from home so I am able to take your dog outside, for walks, and ensure they are getting the exercise they need to thrive. I have a fenced in yard, gated front porch, and a gate on the stairs. The dogs will have full access to the basement (dog proofed) and first floor. Access to the top floor will be for bedtime (if the routine is the dog sleeps in the bed). We also have a playpen and crates here at the house.
