About: I have grown up loving and caring for dogs of my own as well as others. I have always been the person people always call when they have some kind of animal emergency. I will spoil your baby as much as you will let me! I can administer any medication necessary. My dog takes pain meds twice a day so we are already on a medication routine. I have a flexible schedule so I can meet most needs. I keep in contact with you asap if there are any changes that are needed I live in a charming small house in the corner of Ferndale and a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I have a fully fenced in backyard that is about 97% privacy fence. There’s one little corner where my dog can talk to the dog in back through a chain-link fence. Lots of shade and grass

“Rachel is amazing. She took great care of my Hobey who is a goldendoodle. I knew upon meeting her that she took this would be a great experience for Hobey. She provided videos throughout the day that showed Hobey playing with other dogs, doing tasks that would merit him a treat, and relaxing after some playtime in the backyard. It was nice to see the vids and to see him have a good time. I took him there 3 days in a row and each time he would get excited as we pulled up to her house which made me feel good. I could tell he had an active day when I picked him up cause we would get home and I would feed him and he would sleep for the rest of the night. I was only in Michigan for a week but I will be back to visit family and I will always use Rachel.”

About: My Husband and I welcomed my dog 7 years back in the family when we had no plan to have a pet but we just had to bring her home. I have trained her all by myself and received many compliments on how well-behaved my pet is. I have taken care of my friend's fur friends multiple times. Zusa gets along with pretty much everyone with a condition of them remembering who the queen is in the house lol there’s 40% chance of her playing with your pet but she’ll mostly mind her own business which noting everyone who stopped by- by the bay window that’s 10ft long. Your fur baby will be allowed there too after 24hrs of stay😊 we enjoy pets more than humans😜 which is why your pets likely to be cuddled here not just for the show. They’ll be treated as a cousin of Zusa visiting and nothing less than that. I work from home, so I have plenty of time to entertain your fur friend! I'm available on weekdays anytime after 10 am and accommodate them over weekends with some heads up. I have a fenced yard, lots of toys, and a Shitzu to give your pet company. I do have pretty much everything but a crate, so if you believe your pet will be more comfortable with that, then please bring it with you.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I’ve been a dog/cat/house sitter before on and off especially during covid. I love long walks, play time and cuddles. Making your pet happy would make me happy too. I miss living at home with family pet. Currently I work part time as hairstylist working on building there clientele. House sitting nights can vary a little depending on my schedule but am pretty flexible. My house is not available for sitting. When staying at your place I will let dog/cat out into back yard leashed if no fence. Even if there is a fence I will be there watching the dog/cat. Other than that I have a very flexible schedule. For my two pitts I have a fenced in yard. Both are also crate trained and very well mannered. While we are gone they usually have the house to theirselves as they are behaved enough to not make a mess while we are out. They only stay in their crates for short periods of times like when we have numerous guests over or when any maintenance or service people come over. I'm a pretty mellow person that understands dogs all have their own personalities and I do my best to match their energy. I don't get bothered when any messes or accidents happen, as I understand that's just an occasional part of life with dogs and cats. I have a fenced-in yard for zoomies, a spacious home full of cozy napping spots, and someone is almost always around for belly rubs, playtime, or simply keeping them company. Whether your dog is an athlete or a professional couch potato, they'll feel right at home. When I come to you, I like to think of myself as your pet's temporary personal assistant. Every visit is tailored to their personality and routine. High-energy pups can expect games of fetch, tug-of-war, long sniffy walks, or even a trip to the beach if that's their thing. More of an introvert? I'm perfectly happy to curl up with a book while your furry roommate supervises from the couch—or eventually decides my lap is acceptable. I'm comfortable administering medication, handling potty breaks, sticking to feeding routines, and navigating everything from enthusiastic eaters to tiny food critics. No judgment here—I know some pets have very strong opinions.

About: I have had dogs since I was born. I have experience dealing with training puppies as well as dealing with senior dogs. I will follow your instructions for care to the T because I know how important it is for dogs to have stable training and schedules. I will take your dog to the park, out on a walk, on a run, or with me around town. In my mind dogs are part of the family and I will treat them as one of my own for as long as I have the privilege to take care of them. I have two rescues, both fixed that get along great with other dogs. I foster for several rescues so i know how to deal with different temperaments of dogs. Your dog will receive the same care as mine and all the same walks/runs/play time. I work from home so I am able to take your dog outside, for walks, and ensure they are getting the exercise they need to thrive. I have a fenced in yard, gated front porch, and a gate on the stairs. The dogs will have full access to the basement (dog proofed) and first floor. Access to the top floor will be for bedtime (if the routine is the dog sleeps in the bed). We also have a playpen and crates here at the house.

About: I had a wonderful dog named Miles who passed in 2021. He was my first experience with my own animal friend and it was one of the best experiences of my life. He needed a lot of care in his last couple of years (he died when he was 16) as he had arthritis and other age related issues that required a lot of love and patience. Currently I have a cat named Alice who is a sweet orange cat with lots of personality. I look forward to making some new animal friends! I currently work full time two miles from my house so I am able to come home for a long lunch break when needed. I wake up around five every morning and don’t go to sleep until 10pm, so there is flexibility where I can be to help out. I do walk everywhere, but will always show up right on time to make sure your pets are taken care of. As mentioned before I am trained in dog first aid and CPR. Aside from that I am well versed in illnesses or complications your pet may have and will collaborate with you for anything else health related. If things become unsafe for either your dog or myself I will let you know as soon as I am aware of it, and we can go from there together as well. While on walks with your furry friend, they will be my number one priority. I won’t have my head in my phone or take them somewhere that’s not appropriate. About: I’ve been surrounded by and taking care of dogs since I was young. I have experience with all ages, giving medications and with handling reactive dogs. I am currently working full time (4-5 days) as a server/bartender.
