“Rachel is amazing!!! From moment one Suri felt loved and cared!!! Definitely the best, she even let Suri wear some cute dress and have puppy party's!! XD I feel relieved that Suri being an old sweet angel can be cared and feel comfortable with Rachel ❤️”

“Bentley had a great time hanging out with Murphy and Meredith. We've just moved to the Ferndale area, and he misses his old neighbor friends. Happy he's made a friend with Murphy:)”

About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.
“Samantha is awesome! You can tell how passionate she is about dogs and how interested she is in making sure Archie’s stay was great. He loves being there and learning how to be a good dog from Samantha and the rest of her pack. Samantha makes sure to work on socialization, commands and gives the pups great treats too. I especially appreciate all the pictures!”

“My Rex knew immediately that we were off to see Kristen this morning and that gladdened my heart. I won’t leave Rex with anyone else but Kristen! Many thanks to her. I’m certain today was rather epic for Rex. See you again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of family, friends and foster pets since i was in my freshman year of University, I’m a very reliable person ! I’m working freelance ! My hours are very flexible so i have a bunch of free time to take care and train your lovely pets ! I live in an apartment but with all of the free time i have, going to the park or spending time indoors is no problem !

About: Hello! My pet experience consists of having my own doggy for the past 20 years. I rescued my older dog and then got a new puppy. My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. My availability to watch your dog is very flexible. I work from home a most days a week so it is a high chance that I could work from home while caring for your pup. I am a very caring person. I have a PhD in human development and family science and work in the social work field. I have a giant heart and would love to care for your doggie! As a stay-at-home worker, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, timely feedings, regular potty breaks, and plenty of play and cuddle time. My flexible schedule means I can easily accommodate pets’ needs, whether that’s sticking to a specific routine or being available for spontaneous walks and care. Being home also helps me monitor behavior closely and respond quickly to any changes, making pets feel secure, loved, and well looked after. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets have access to cozy rest areas, regular outdoor time, and plenty of affection and play throughout the day. I maintain a calm, clean space and follow any routines or special instructions provided. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to the pet’s established schedule to minimize stress. I provide regular updates, ensure fresh food and water, maintain cleanliness, and give each pet the love and attention they’re used to.
About: Hi there! My name is Sarah and I am a lover of all animals. I grew up my whole life with cats and taking care of my neighbors/friends dogs. When I was 11, I even made my own business cards to pass out around the neighborhood to advertise my petsitting "business". I am now the momma of two furry children, a long haired domestic cat named Basil and a red golden retriever named Fisher. I know the importance of these pets in your life. Because I have felt the worries of leaving them in the hands of someone else, I felt inspired to become a pet sitter myself! I have cared for a number of types of different animals including dogs, cats, birds, and weasels. I am open to pets who require medication as well as young puppies as I have just gone through this age myself with Fisher. I promise to take the best care of your furry friends and hope to put your mind at ease while you're away :) I currently work a flexible schedule, so my availability is typically open! Aside from the occasional schedule conflicts, I am in the Ferndale/ metro Detroit area full time and am available mornings, afternoons, or evenings. As for a clients home, I am flexible on the type of place/amenities you have to provide your pets. I would follow any instructions and requests provided!
“if you are looking for someone you can trust with your dog of any age look no further. Yvette provided Zeke (3 month old French bulldog) with the best care possible. She met all of my needs for him and he had the best doggo day ever. She sent me many updates, photos and videos through out the day. He loved all the dogs that wasn’t under care and we will be definitely going back to her. Yvettes love and care for dogs is unmatched and I am happy to have found her.”

“Mariana and her husband have hosted our dog Shama multiple times now and they are always our first choice because we know Shama is always happy to see them and stay with them. Very flexible and communicate very nicely with us. We highly recommend them.”
“Jess is absolutely my 1 and only go to for caring for my sweet baby. After such a terrible experience with my previous sitter .. jess has been a breath of fresh air. She takes amazing care of Nova! And Nova just loves her and all her friends she gets to see when she visits. Jess is patient and kind and really treats your pets as her own. Nova gets to run around and gets nap times throughout the day. Jess makes sure she addresses the needs of each dog individually and they each get the attention they need. I would 100% recommend her EVERY SINGLE TIME”

“Our first experience with Theresia was beyond expectations. We requested a meet and greet because we were unsure of a stranger watching our dogs. Theresia was extremely accommodating and we will definitely use her again!”

“Kadi was fantastic! So warm and reassuring to talk with, as well as super sweet and patient with our pup. He is a bit weary of men, and unfortunately wasn’t able to relax around Kadi’s husband. She let me know that she wanted to make sure Tito was as comfortable as possible. Kadi went of her way to reach out to her pet sitter, a fellow rover member (without a male in the house ☺️), to see if she would be available and open to taking Tito on for a weekend. She even made sure there was availability for a meet and greet before hand. Kadi went above and beyond and showed us she really cares about the well being of the pets in her care. Thanks a million Kadi!”

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Even though we were her very first client, she treated our pup like absolute family from the second we walked in. She was warm, professional, and kept us updated throughout the day, which gave us complete peace of mind. Our dog came home happy, relaxed, and well-cared for. Don't let her lack of reviews fool you, she is a natural at this and truly wonderful with pets. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Rachel was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of Phoenix during his daycare stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was so kind, welcoming, and truly the sweetest person to work with. She kept me updated throughout the day and even sent me two videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious that Phoenix was well cared for and loved while he was with her. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely passionate about dogs. We will definitely be back!
