“Greg is fantastic! If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter look no further! He did an amazing job watching our two pugs (who can be a handful at times!) for 4 days/nights. During our meet and greet, Greg was really thorough with questions, making sure we went over all of their needs and schedule in detail. He was an excellent communicator and sent us photos and updates every couple of hours! Highly, highly recommend!”

“Zack was very attentive all day with the puppy and stayed in contact all day. He was very responsive while setting up the appointment and was timely. Highly recommend him and will definitely be using him again soon!”

“Jaidi stayed with our dog for 10 days while we traveled internationally for the first time in years. We were hesitant to leave our very attached and anxious dog, but Jaidi was so patient with her and she warmed up to Jaidi during the stay. Jaidi communicated daily with pics and videos, and our apartment was also well cared for. Will definitely use Jaidi again and highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was about 8 years old. I grew up with a doberman and a cat both of which i loved dearly. I continued to have cats and dogs until I moved out on my own at 25, I now only have cats because of my building but would love to get back to walking and taking care of dogs! I’m a manager at a non-profit animal rescue group and take care of approximately 50 animals a week. This includes feeding, cleaning, playing and monitoring their health! I treat every animal I come into contact with as I would my own. There is always love and the utmost care. I’m on a sabbatical from my full time job now in sustainability so I have lots of time to do some pet care work! I still work at the animal rescue group but that is only part time. I offer services mostly at the client’s home and not my own because of my cats. While super friendly and cuddly I have no idea how they’d react to a large dog! But at the client’s home I’m extremely vigilant about pet safety and know what to do in an emergency. I’m very familiar with walking dogs of all sizes (even great danes) from my time as a doggy daycare employee.
“Ashanti was very helpful with Bella and she came on such a short notice. I was very impressed with how much effort she put into Taking care Bella and not letting her ruin the house. I will be booking again!”

“Rachelle has been our go-to dog sitter, and once again, she took great care of our dachshund while we were away for a week. She made sure he got his daily walks and potty breaks on schedule, handled his medication, and kept the house tidy, which we really appreciated. She also sent us regular photo updates, which eased how much we missed him. We’ve used her before and continue to trust her with our pup. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs from puppy to senior. I’ve also taken care of many family and friends pets. Very comfortable with giving medicine or any specific care. Will shower your pet with the same love I would give my family dog. I work full time during the week so I am only available in the evening on weekdays and I can provide 24/7 care on weekends. I am very familiar with getting acquainted with new animals. I will quickly earn the affection and trust of your pet in order to take care of them in whatever way is needed.

“Jen took such great care of our pups. She paid close attention to all of my concerns and she remembered the weird idiosyncrasies about both dogs. Jen seemed to give them all of the attention and love we could’ve asked for. So glad we found her!”
“ren took great care of my very energetic dog. i felt totally comfortable and received several updates throughout the day. thank you SO much for taking such good care of my girl 🌸”

“Mona took great care of our dog. She listened to all of our special needs and was able to provide comfort to our dog while we were gone. I would highly recommend Mona and will be using her again in the near future.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since 15. I gained all of my experience that I have today through taking care of neighbors, friends, colleagues, and family’s pets. I am a loving, kind, caring, and patient person. I learned so much from caring for animals, that I adore them so much! Also additional, I have experience with puppies, kittens, and senior pets. I’m currently a college student, my classes are held online. Which gives me plenty of time to spend with the doggies. My weekends are busy but I can do mornings only. Because the weekends are the only days I have to finish my college work. I care for my clients pets like if they were my own. I make sure to make my clients pets feel as comfortable and safe as possible, like if they were in their own home. I love taking my time to get to know my clients pets because each pet has their own personality! I also make sure to follow any rules or meal plans that my clients leave for their pets.

Gravesend-Sheepshead Bay pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily stayed at our place and watched our 6 month old puppy for nine days! She is patient, kind, loves dogs, very knowledgeable. She weathered the sudden -5F winter storm as well as a resurging cherry eye issue with the puppy, handled medicine, feeding, exercise and everything perfectly. She left the apartment looking at least as clean as it as when she arrived, and was very flexible. It was the first time we ever left our puppy and even though it was clear he was happy and safe with Emily, we missed him terribly and the daily photos and updates helped a lot with that. We've already booked another one day house sitting gig with Emily.

Daria was absolutely wonderful with my two girls and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the very beginning, she was so thoughtful, communicative, and genuinely caring. She sent frequent updates and photos, which really put me at ease while I was away. It was clear that she truly spent quality time with them — playing, relaxing, doing little tricks, cuddling, and giving them so much love and attention. My more reserved pup even opened up and became very social with her, which says so much about how gentle and patient Daria is. And my other girl clearly adored her and loved being close to her the whole time. She was also extremely respectful of my home, kept everything tidy, and even took care of little things like washing their feeding mats and handling deliveries for me, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, I felt completely comfortable and confident leaving my girls in her care — they were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I returned. I’m so grateful to have found Daria and will absolutely be reaching out to her again for future stays and walks. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone truly kind, reliable, and loving with their pets.

Greg is exceptional—truly above and beyond, even among 5-star sitters. He has been caring for our dog Frankie for several years, and his attentiveness and thoughtfulness extend not only to Frankie but also to our home, giving us complete peace of mind. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Kati was amazing with our dog. Cersei was sad when Kati left because they got so attached. Kati also sent lots of updates/pictures throughout and was a great communicator. I will be lucky if Kati is available for our next need and I hope to be able to be a repeat customer of hers. Thank you, Kati!!

Katie is awesome! She took excellent care of our senior cat Bruce - an 18 y.o., needy lap cat who takes 3 oral meds, a laxative, and a topical ear med (mirataz) every day. She got it all done without any issues. And she left our apartment in sparkling condition - better than we left it! We will definitely book Katie to cat sit our sweet, old cat again!

Lisseth was an amazing in-house sitter for my dog Cooper! She was attentive & communicative. She took great care of my senior Puggle and left my place just the way it was when she arrived. Sent videos and photos often and without being ask. Would book again and highly recommend.
