“This was Kim's second time watching my cat and she went above and beyond again! Thank you Kim!!”

“Rachel is reliable, kind, and so trustworthy! I never have to worry about my cat while away, knowing that she will keep me updated and will always show up. Can not recommend Rachel enough! Will def. be contacting her again and again to watch bandit!”

“I can’t say enough about these two. They loved my kitties and took such meticulously thoughtful care that my older kitty, who was fighting a year-long sickness, was HEALED by the time I returned. He’s very slow to trust and often chooses isolation when I’m not home. He usually becomes even more stressed and is then in worse shape when I return. Scarlett and Dalton were patient, warm and let my nervous boys lead - I’ve never felt more relaxed and reassured while I was out of town.”

“Katelynn was sweet and hardworking. She even drove to my house in a snow storm! I will definitely use her services again ❤️. (Drop-in visits for 2 cats)”

“Courtney was excellent. She kept in touch with updates and photos everyday when she was taking care of our two cats. We would definitely book with her again.”

“Flexible, very good attention to detail. Solid vet med background made her great for taking care of my diabetic cat. Her updates that she sends are lovely and great for setting your mind at ease. Would definitely hire again.”

“Audrey did a great job taking care of my kitty's. I had to go to a funeral and was so glad when she accepted my service request on such short notice. She followed my instructions, provided some other unexpected services and provided pictures. She was great ??!”

About: I have lots of pets, including 3 big dogs and 1 pit bull, and I also rescue and foster cats. I volunteered at APS for 1 year, where I walked dogs, learned how to handle big dogs in a very stressful environment for them, and learned how to care for certain pet medical needs(such as worms). My home has become essentially an animal sanctuary for cats! I never leave a cat stranded and always take it to the vet right away to address any medical treatment needed! I am good with handling all size dogs but I typically prefer to work with medium-small dogs, and I'm great with handling cats! I'm working a part time job right now but my schedule is pretty leniant! Mornings, night, and midday are all times I'm available to work! Although I mostly would like to do drop-ins, I'm fully able to do house sitting as well as long as the times are communicated a few days in advance! At home I make sure all my pets are fed according to the time that they need, many people have different feeding schedules and I'm able to cater to any of the pets needs. For dogs making sure you keep eyes on them at all times especially when outdoors. Making sure all doors leading to outside are shut, or pet is fully secured before a door is opened. Paying attention to warning signs of distress in an animal is very key. Whether they are having a physical reaction to something or it appears more emotional, having a close eye on the pet assures that they are getting the help they need at all times. And of course lots of loving and play with the animals if that's what the owner recommends! I understand that not all animals are playful or affectionate, but for the ones that are its definitely good to take a little extra time out of the day for some belly rubs!

About: My mom is a veterinarian, so I have lots of experience with animals. I have experience with large and small dogs. We had a rescue bull mastiff for 8 wonderful years :) I work full time but can sneak walks in on my lunch break. I have 1-2 full days off during the week (always Wednesday’s and sometimes Mondays). I’m always available early in the morning or later in the evening, and weekends are always open. I love dogs, but am not yet in a place where I feel stable enough to have my own. I would like to complete my masters degree before I get one of my own. Playing and loving other people’s dogs part time will have to do for now :) My job offers flexible timing to offer walks during your regular 9-5 hours or evenings and weekends, centrally located between Raleigh and Durham for easy accessibility I have a fenced in yard with a friendly 3 year old cattle dog mix who would love to play with your pup. I can provide safe and structured environment.
