Our "puppies" tend to be pretty high energy, and they seemed to fit right in with the family. This was the first trip I've been on where I forgot to worry about the dogs and just enjoy our trip, which never happens. The communication, updates, and photos were consistent and frequent, and I felt like they were in amazing hands the entire time. Both Maci and Oakley came back so happy (and so tired). About: I love all animals and am dedicated to their care! I have rescued many pets, including my own dog and 2 goats. Your fur baby will not be left out from all the fun at my house as I have plenty of time to play with your pup, I can be relied on to care for your pet as my own!! I am currently working part time, 5 mins from where I live- schedule is flexible most days leaving plenty of time for ur furry friend! I am home in the morning, evening and throughout the day to take care of my own pets along with yours! Unfortunately I do not have a fenced in yard, but it’s a big yard! I keep a watchful eye on my dog while she does her business and leash her for longer walks, same for your dog- wanderers definitely leashed full time outside. I can easily provide your dog with a crate if needed/ its own room with a couch and plenty of toys to play with! My cats and dog are fed twice a day and have water available to them 24/7!

Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week.
