“Cathryn was really good to Lucy! Her children loved her like their own. Great yard and very dog friendly. We learned Lucy is not good with resident cats so she won’t be back but we highly recommend for others!”

“Nova had a great time with Shawn and Charles! Their backyard was perfect for her to get out all of her energy with a chuck-it, and there were large windows to lazily gaze out while relaxing around. They went above and beyond for Nova’s water-dog tendencies by allowing her to splash in the bath after getting hot. She also came home with some homemade treats! 🥰”

“Alyson was great! Gave daily updates including photos and provided a nice balance of love/care and respect of boundaries for our cats. Would definitely book again!”

“Cameron took wonderful care of our cats while we were away. He was kind, gentle, and incredibly thoughtful with them. He spent quality time playing with them and kept us updated every day with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our cats are naturally shy, but Cameron was patient and let them warm up at their own pace, it was amazing to see that they had opened up to him within just two days. Beyond being fantastic with pets, Cameron is also a genuinely pleasant person to talk to. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would happily book him again!”

“Julie is the best sitter we have ever had. She took wonderful care of our 3 cats when my partner and I were in Iceland. She provided such tender and patient care for each cat, especially my senior cat with complex medical needs. She even went the extra mile to bring new food from home when my senior didn’t have much of an appetite. I will absolutely be booking Julie again in the future. She is a real gem!”

“Brittany did an amazing job taking care of our cat! We had Brittany stay two nights while we were out of town. She sent pictures and updates and was on time for her stays.”

“Katrin is awesome. She takes great care of Sushi, sends prompt responses and really goes above and beyond. Grateful to her for her help with our senior cat. Will always book Katrin if she’s available.”

“Chelsey and David took such great care of my dog and two cats and were extremely responsive. Communication was always quick, and they were thoughtful, proactive, and genuinely willing to help. I would absolutely book with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Kim took such thoughtful care of Django, and kept us notified of his activity and interactions with her cats, including photos. He seemed happy at her home. I look forward to using her cat boarding services again in the future and recommend her as a cat sitter. You can tell she loves cats.”

“Bell was AWESOME!!! Not only is she a great sitter, but she's a fantastic person, as well. We hired her to look after our senior cat Mina whilst we were out of town and Miss Bell by far exceeded our expectations. She showed up every day at the agreed time, was always considerate of the house and of Mina's needs, cleaned the litter box everyday, gave her playtime and treats, and more. We watched from a camera some days and she was very kind, despite our cat being a grumpy old lady. I feel much better about hiring pet sitters now and will definitely request Miss Bell again next time. Thanks, Bell - you rock!”

“Excellent pet and house sitter! If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would! Completely satisfied and look forward to employing this sitter again! Communication was amazing, texted updates once per day on our pet! House care amazing, even offered to water my plants — so appreciated! Our cat could not have been happier or more cared for!”

“Blake was wonderful about sending photos of my cat. I think my cat will miss her more than she missed me! Lol. It was nice to enjoy my vacation knowing Annabelle was safe and well cared for.”

“I can’t say enough about these two. They loved my kitties and took such meticulously thoughtful care that my older kitty, who was fighting a year-long sickness, was HEALED by the time I returned. He’s very slow to trust and often chooses isolation when I’m not home. He usually becomes even more stressed and is then in worse shape when I return. Scarlett and Dalton were patient, warm and let my nervous boys lead - I’ve never felt more relaxed and reassured while I was out of town.”

“Brian is incredibly responsive, which has always been very reassuring as a pet parent. We really appreciate him taking care of Chai and giving her the love and attention she needs.”

“This was Kim's second time watching my cat and she went above and beyond again! She always makes sure to take my cat outside on the leash since she knows he loves to go out 😍 Kim was super communicative when we had a mishap with the keys and stayed extra long to make sure it was resolved. Thank you Kim!!”

“I would definitely recommend Anita for all of your pet sitting needs. She came for a meet and greet the weekend before. And my 3 cats were immediately comfortable with her...which is very, very rare! One cat was a gift during Covid, so he literally has met no one. And he adjusted to her quickly. This made me very comfortable as well. She sent pics and updates frequently. I felt like I could enjoy my weekend because I knew my pets were well taken care of. Thank you Anita!”

“Audrey did a great job taking care of my kitty's. I had to go to a funeral and was so glad when she accepted my service request on such short notice. She followed my instructions, provided some other unexpected services and provided pictures. She was great ??!”

About: Cats are often labeled as “low maintenance,” but any true cat parent knows that isn’t always the case. Cats thrive on routine, familiarity, and trust—and when their humans are away, even the most independent cats can experience stress or anxiety. I specialize exclusively in cat care, offering attentive check-ins and house sitting tailored to each cat’s unique personality and needs. Whether your cat is social and affectionate, shy and reserved, or requires extra patience and reassurance, I take the time to meet them where they are. I’m an experienced cat parent to five cats, including a senior 16-year-old and several energetic younger cats, all with very different temperaments. This firsthand experience has taught me how important it is to recognize subtle behavioral cues, maintain routines, and provide enrichment, comfort, and consistency while you’re away. From meal times and litter box care to play, affection, and quiet companionship, I ensure your cat feels safe, respected, and cared for in their own home. I understand that some cats simply need a calm presence, while others crave interaction—and I adjust my care accordingly. Your cat isn’t “just a pet”—they’re family. I treat every cat in my care with the same patience, respect, and love I give my own.

About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.
“Thank you David! Our pups seemed to have a great time! They slept the entire 3 hour ride home. Glad we found you & would not hesitate to return whenever we are in the area.”

“Bruna took great care of my dog Sky! He had an amazing time with her, and I really appreciated the timely updates, photos, and videos throughout his stay. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. Highly recommend Bruna for anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Chelsea and David were amazing! When I picked up my pup, she was happy and tuckered out! I would definitely bring my girl back to them when I come back into town. Can't recommend enough!”

“Anitra was so supportive in taking my pup for an early drop off, it was great to see Sydney at the dog park right next to her home while I was studying for a big exam. Highly recommend her!”

“Shawn and Charles were absolutely wonderful! We needed a dog sitter for just a few hours while we were traveling so we could attend a baby shower, and they made the whole experience easy and stress-free. They were friendly and from the moment we met them, we felt completely at ease leaving our dog in their care, and it was obvious our dog was comfortable with them too. They shared photo updates while we were away, which gave us extra peace of mind and let us see that Goose was happy and well cared for. It's clear they enjoy spending time with dogs and treat them like family. We wouldn't hesitate to book Shawn and Charles again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring, and dependable dog sitters!”

About: My name is Dylan and I have lived in the Raleigh/Durham area for an about three years now. I’ve lived my entire life around dogs and puppies and absolutely love them! I have a fur baby named Benny who will be 3 in July. He’s playful, loving, and so much fun! I am very familiar with the needs of a puppy or full size dog and love meeting new furry friends! One of my favorite activities is walking dogs and going to the park. I look forward to meeting your pup!! I work full time currently, but I have a flexible schedule and work fully remote from my home office. I can be very flexible and attentive to your dog’s needs during the day and evenings! I do have a fully fenced in yard, but prefer to be outside with my dog when he’s outside. Every morning, I wake up early to take my dog on a walk. My dog is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play! He gets along with all other kinds of furry friends. Our house is fairly good size with a lot of room for a dog to run around and play! He has a strict breakfast and dinner schedule that we follow daily as well.

About: I grew up with two bigger dogs (German Shepard and chow/golden mix) and always had responsibility with taking care of them. Although I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment, I am always the first to watch my family and friends dogs such as Bernese mountain dog, doodles, Bassett Hound, and German Sheppards! In the last two years, I have been a recurring sitter for a doodle, chow, chocolate lab, and other breeds. All dogs were through friends, referrals, and people in our building so not many reviews on here but I am sure I can send their numbers if referrals are needed. “I had a great experience with Kevin for walking Gazer! He always showed up exactly when scheduled, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Communication was excellent—he kept me updated before, during, and after each walk, and were very responsive to messages. I really appreciated his flexibility as well, especially when I needed to request additinal walks and adjust times on short notice. It made coordinating everything so much easier. One of my favorite parts was receiving photos from each walk—it was so reassuring to see Gazer happy enjlying his full 30 mins walks. I would absolutely recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and caring dog walker!”

About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.
“Bell is reliable, attentive, friendly, and my dog loved her! He is a fearful and sometimes stubborn baby, she was able to get him out for walks on the first visit when it has often taken people multiple times to get to that point. She was very quick and thorough in her responses and put me at ease that my pup would be okay while I was out of town. We will definitely consider her again in the future!”

“Very happy with Chelsey and David and their care for our pup, Mallory! We have used their services for daycare dropoff and a longer, multiple night trip. They are flexible with dropoff and pickup times, and are enthusiastic about having Mal around. Their dog, Athena, is a fun play pal for Mal and Chelsey and David are conscientious about monitoring playtime and giving the dogs a break when needed. They send pics and videos of Mal's time there which is a plus given being away from your doggo can be a bit stressful (for you and them)! I feel that Mal is happy and safe while in their care and that makes my dog mom heart super thankful :)”

“Everything about boarding with Evan was stellar. Great responsiveness, listened to all my instructions, inviting at dropoff. The farm is perfect for dogs! tons of fenced in room to roam. Lumi came home super zen and well exercised. Would recommend!”
