We will definitely be booking Kim again and highly recommend her to anyone who wants their furry babies in wonderful hands.”

About: Cats are often labeled as “low maintenance,” but any true cat parent knows that isn’t always the case. Cats thrive on routine, familiarity, and trust—and when their humans are away, even the most independent cats can experience stress or anxiety. I specialize exclusively in cat care, offering attentive check-ins and house sitting tailored to each cat’s unique personality and needs. Whether your cat is social and affectionate, shy and reserved, or requires extra patience and reassurance, I take the time to meet them where they are. I’m an experienced cat parent to five cats, including a senior 16-year-old and several energetic younger cats, all with very different temperaments. This firsthand experience has taught me how important it is to recognize subtle behavioral cues, maintain routines, and provide enrichment, comfort, and consistency while you’re away. From meal times and litter box care to play, affection, and quiet companionship, I ensure your cat feels safe, respected, and cared for in their own home. I understand that some cats simply need a calm presence, while others crave interaction—and I adjust my care accordingly. Your cat isn’t “just a pet”—they’re family. I treat every cat in my care with the same patience, respect, and love I give my own.

Me and my sister found a kitten in a sewer in Mooresville North Carolina when I was about 7 or 8 me and my family helped to get her healthy and rehome her. Ever since then I have loved cats of all kinds. I have never personally owned one but I have watched neighbors cats while they were out of town since I was about 10.

“Kim took great care of my 2 cats during a 2 week vacation. She gave me super thorough and exciting updates of how the cats were doing and included lots of photos! Even litter box and water updates! Excellent amazing service and gave me a ton of peace of mind while I was out of the country! Will definitely be using again!”

“Sam went above and beyond during her visits to my cat Buddy! She was very great in handling him and was very communicative during the whole process. My cat loved her and I absolutely recommend her services for anyone with cats!”

About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.
“Chelsea and David were amazing! When I picked up my pup, she was happy and tuckered out! I would definitely bring my girl back to them when I come back into town. Can't recommend enough!”

“Potato can require some help managing his energy and engaging appropriately in new situations. David talked us through his ideas of plans A and B and kept us updated. Thanks to his careful attention, Potato ended up having a fantastic day. He came home happy, relaxed, and absolutely exhausted! A raging success.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! From my first mixed-breed pup in high school to raising my first Siberian Husky from just 3 months old, I've always loved caring for dogs. Honestly, I wish I'd known sooner that I could get paid to spend time with these amazing companions! I've house-trained my own furry babies and have loved watching them grow up alongside my hooman kiddos. Seeing the bond between them has been incredibly rewarding. Our home is full of love, and we can't wait to welcome your pup into it. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or snuggling, they'll be treated like family and receive lots of love, attention, and care while you're away. I work from home and with both my kids now in school I have plenty of time to play and belly rub your fur babies throughout the day! I have a fenced yard with a friendly husky who loves to keep company to all hoomans and pups alike! I also have 2 kids who adore dogs—it’s a constant game of who gets who tired first. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
“Anitra was so supportive in taking my pup for an early drop off, it was great to see Sydney at the dog park right next to her home while I was studying for a big exam. Highly recommend her!”

“My dog Finley was so happy to see Laura every morning and so sad to leave her house! He really bonded with her and her dog Marley despite his separation anxiety, and I’m so grateful for the positive experience they gave us!”

About: My name is Dylan and I have lived in the Raleigh/Durham area for an about three years now. I’ve lived my entire life around dogs and puppies and absolutely love them! I have a fur baby named Benny who will be 3 in July. He’s playful, loving, and so much fun! I am very familiar with the needs of a puppy or full size dog and love meeting new furry friends! One of my favorite activities is walking dogs and going to the park. I look forward to meeting your pup!! I work full time currently, but I have a flexible schedule and work fully remote from my home office. I can be very flexible and attentive to your dog’s needs during the day and evenings! I do have a fully fenced in yard, but prefer to be outside with my dog when he’s outside. Every morning, I wake up early to take my dog on a walk. My dog is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play! He gets along with all other kinds of furry friends. Our house is fairly good size with a lot of room for a dog to run around and play! He has a strict breakfast and dinner schedule that we follow daily as well.
About: Hello, my senior dog of 14 years passed away recently, so I am looking to get my pup fix in while also helping you out! You can expect an attentive, caring and fun foster environment when your pet stays with me. I am an active individual who works from home and doesnt mind stepping out of the house 3 to 4 times a day to exercise and play with your pets! I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! I do have a kennel available for dogs who prefer to be crated, and if not, I have free roam dog beds, couches and human beds available for all pets who enjoy them!
“Jade was the best! She is so sweet and caring, our puppy is only 6 months old with a lot of energy and growing so big and Jade watched her for several days in a row. She noticed multiple habits and quirks we forgot to mention and definitely developed a bond with our pup in the time she watched her. Jade was very intentional with updates which we appreciated overall we highly recommend, we would definitely book again (:”

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. Bailey is friendly as can be, however I know animals can get nervous in new environments. If coming to your residence I will request and do’s or dont’s to ensure your animal is taken care of up to your expectations and above. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. Love all animals and will freaky all animals as if they are my own. We would be honored to treat your animal to a nice vacation as you enjoy yours. My wife and I are retired and have a very flexible schedule. About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

About: I grew up living with dogs and have consistently dog/house sat for friends and family for over a decade. I'm a recent PhD Graduate on the job hunt, so I can spend the days with you dog while working remotely I've pet sat throughout the past decade while working and during graduate school. I'm currently searching for a job, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog during the day I prefer to care for the dog in the client's home. Your dog is already missing you, they will feel more comfortable with me if they are at home
“Heather has been a great walker for my pup! She always takes good care of her and sends pics and updates. I especially appreciate how often she’s been able to come through on last minute requests.”

About: Hey dog pawmily! I’m Hadassah! I’ve honestly been caring for animals since I was a child and have experience with a wide variety of pets including multiple dogs, four cats, a bunny, fish, and three parakeets. Caring for so many different animals has truly taught me patience, responsibility, and truly how to meet each pet’s unique needs. I have and solely take care of my one dog, Diogee, who is a 3 year old Maltese-Shitzu mix and enjoys meeting new friends. Having my dog, Diogee, by my side throughout my transition as a transfer student in my senior year at UNC chapel hill has shown me just how important pets are to our lives. Hopefully your dog will either have the opportunity to meet/walk/play with me (yay!) or stay in my safe HOA home located in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood with great walking areas and a new dog park currently being built nearby. I, Hadassah, can assure you that when your dog is cared for by me, they’ll be treated with the same care and patience that I give my own. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I care for my own dog, Diogee, every day. 🐶 I'm available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and boarding depending on availability. In my home, pets will receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh cool water, meals according to their schedule, and a safe, pet-friendly environment. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings and maintain their normal routine.

About: Hey! My name is Jordan, I have been pet sitting and house sitting for 3 years and babysitting this past year for my friends and family! I just turned 18 so I can finally make an account of rover, but I love animals. I’ve been around all kinds of dogs and cats and can match whatever energy your pet needs, whether that is going on a run, playing fetch, or chilling on the couch watching a show! Truth be told I care more about animals than people. Maybe that sounds harsh, in reality we do not deserve animals but we get the best companionship you could ask for. I’m currently away for school and can explain how much I miss my dog. I’m hoping to pour love into other pets while I can’t with my own ♥️ I am a part time cosmetology student at Aveda Chapel hill. My hours are 9 am to 8 pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Every other day I will be more than happy to spend time with your pets. I live with my 24 yo sister and her husband. They have a dog named Tony who is super sweet. Before being able to watch pets in my home I would have to introduce them to Tony to make sure both parties are safe. if I am watching your pet at your house feel free to ask me to wash dishes, straighten up or do a load of laundry! Same goes for housesitting!!
“Bell is reliable, attentive, friendly, and my dog loved her! He is a fearful and sometimes stubborn baby, she was able to get him out for walks on the first visit when it has often taken people multiple times to get to that point. She was very quick and thorough in her responses and put me at ease that my pup would be okay while I was out of town. We will definitely consider her again in the future!”

I truly enjoy having company, and I’m used to walking three times every day with them. Your dog will be free to move around my entire home. At night, I have a designated open space for their bed, food, water and toys that is connected to the living room, so they are always part of the home environment (shown in the attached photos). But if he/she prefers, the living room is also available always 🐾 Just a few steps from my home, there’s a quiet, pet-friendly, low-traffic area that’s perfect for walks, as well as a park just a few streets away. If you’re comfortable with it, we can also take him/her to a nearby trail or park. I enjoy walking and running, and when your dog arrives, we start with a walk to help him/her feel comfortable and get to know each other.
“So thankful Randy was able to walk our pups. I'll be reaching out again if I go out of town. Was communicative and friendly, followed instructions, and was great with the pups.”

“Had such a great experience with Grant! He watched my chihuahua for two days and sent me cute videos and photos which I loved. Super easy to communicate with and really flexible. Would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others!”
