“Skyla was great. She took care of my little baby like I expected. I love how she taught him how to wait and not run towards the door everytime she left. I will definitely choose her services again in the future.”

“Andrew W. was very helpful with my dog. My pup gets anxious and barks at strangers and Andew W. calmed him down and put me at ease. He knows dogs’s behavior and can find right approach to any problem.”

About: I have experience with elderly pups/dogsitting. I grew up with a pug, pekingese, french bulldog, and a cat. I grew up watching neighbor's pets and now we have two male bonded kitties of our own who turned out very sweet! We both work remotely/hybrid and have time for all the cuddles! Even if it's just a daily visit needed, we can make time for that as well. We have a quiet and safe apartment with a few bedrooms, we do own two friendly/sweet young male cats, both neutered and up to date on vaccines .
“Eduardo was great with Celie! Very responsible and responsive. He was on top of all instructions and was very diligent with Celie’s needs. Was very punctual and would even stay a bit extra to ensure Celie was good. Will be booking him again in the near future!”

About: 🐶 Hi, I’m Denise — Your Pet’s New Favorite Human Animals aren’t just something I care for — they’re part of my world. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, chickens, and even rescue bunnies, and I understand that every animal has a unique personality and comfort level. I take my time, let them set the pace, and give them affection, patience, and presence. 💻 I Work From Home — Your Pets Get Full Attention Because I work remotely, I’m home with your pets most of the day. That means: Consistent company and supervision No long stretches alone Plenty of walks, playtime, or lap time Your pet becomes my “co-worker,” and I couldn’t ask for better company. I maintain a flexible schedule for multiple breaks throughout the day and evening. I love long walks, throwing the ball or just cuddles while watching TV. I truly love animals and would treat your precious one as if they were my own.
About: I've always adored animals ever since I was little. Growing up I was surrounded by not only cats and dogs but I also had a bird and chinchilla. From a young age, I was taught the correct ways to care for animals; now I have two dogs of my own. I have experience with watching multiple animals at the same time while providing different care for each animal individually based on what they need. I understand firsthand how important it is to feel comfortable and safe when trusting someone with your animals and I promise that I will provide the best care. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. While I am currently a student and work part-time, I carefully manage my schedule to ensure I can provide dependable, attentive care. I am committed to being upfront about my availability and only accepting bookings that allow me to give your pet the time, attention, and care they deserve. If my schedule aligns with your needs and it’s a good fit for both of us, I would love the opportunity to care for your pet! I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. I pay close attention to each pet’s well-being and tailor my care to their individual needs, personality, and energy level to ensure they are happy and comfortable. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your beloved family member. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care and give owners peace of mind while they’re away.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 13 years and have experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines, and I take the time to provide personalized, loving care for each one. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, administering basic medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll treat your pet like family. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in great hands! I work as a licensed nail technician, so my schedule is flexible throughout the week. I have availability before and after appointments, as well as on my days off, for drop-in visits and dog walks. Because I create my own schedule, I’m able to accommodate many last-minute requests whenever possible. Brittney was amazing with Luna! Luna usually does not like strangers, so the fact that Brittney was able to get her to warm up so quickly really impressed me. She was patient, calm, and clearly has a natural way with animals. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Luna was comfortable and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Brittney to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and great with dogs!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
