“Julia is a very special and sweet person. My dog gets very anxious leaving for a walk with someone new after her illness and many vet stays and Julia put her at ease right away. Katiniss was excited to see Julia. Thank you so much Julia for helping us. 😊😊😊😊”

About: I have experience with elderly pups/dogsitting. I grew up with a pug, pekingese, french bulldog, and a cat. I grew up watching neighbor's pets and now we have two male bonded kitties of our own who turned out very sweet! We both work remotely/hybrid and have time for all the cuddles! Even if it's just a daily visit needed, we can make time for that as well. We have a quiet and safe apartment with a few bedrooms, we do own two friendly/sweet young male cats, both neutered and up to date on vaccines .
“Andrew W. was right on time and gave me heads up when he was close. I asked him to come with his Border Collie. So my pup can get good exercise running around the yard and a lesson in socializing with other dogs. Andrew W. was very helpful and my dog had such fun playing!”

I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of exercise and attention. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m usually available between 11 AM and 3–5 PM, which makes me a great fit for midday walks, drop-ins, and playtime. My schedule can vary slightly from day to day, but I’m happy to coordinate in advance and find a time that works best for you and your dog. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep your dog secure on walks, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I’m respectful of your home, reliable with routines, and happy to send updates so you know your dog is safe and having a good time.
“Brianna has been great with my dog Taz. She is always on time and makes sure he is taken care of. I’ve had to contact her last minute and always responds with quick response. I highly reccomend using Brianna for any of your dog caring needs.”

“My pups always love it when Meg comes to walk them! She is so sweet to them! Meg also always sends a nice report afterwords! She always walks the dogs for over a half hour, sometimes even for a mile! The dogs are always nice and played out!”

Adriana is the absolute best. She’s so good that I almost regret leaving this 5-star review (should be higher) because she’ll get booked up completely and I won’t be able to schedule her again…joking of course! She’s great with our big dogs, very trustworthy, always on time, and took care of our dogs & cat while we were away. Thank you again Adriana! Looking forward to hiring you again!

This is the second time that I had used Stacey, this time was for dog walking/drop in. To be honest I can't say enough things about her good things reliable cleanliness for babies are happy on time and photos I recommend a 100% antibody who would like her for dog walks or house sitting I will be also using her again in May for house sitting my fur babies love her and are very excited when she comes to see them

Brittney was amazing with Luna! Luna usually does not like strangers, so the fact that Brittney was able to get her to warm up so quickly really impressed me. She was patient, calm, and clearly has a natural way with animals. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Luna was comfortable and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Brittney to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and great with dogs!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
