About: I talk to them and they talk to me! I even do arts & crafts and have pictures to prove it. My house is clean and my dog, Boston, is perfect. If you should be lucky enough to meet him, you will find it obvious that he has been cared for and trained with love and kindness only. I believe all animals are perfect that's why I don't eat them. However, Boston does. I make organic dog food. I have a 6' privacy fenced backyard and an enclosed back porch. The two sliding glass doors allow the dogs to keep a watch out for squirrels! When asked what I did today, I frequently aanswer "let the dogs out, let the dogs in". I don't mind if people drop by unexpected to check on their dogs.... I would!

“Eric is the most professional Dog Walker I have ever met. He was a delight to work with from start to finish. He took care of my dog and helped out my aging parents while I was out of town by walking my dog numerous times a day. He was reliable, communicative, and warm. I recommend him highly!!!!”

About: Nothing, I am just not allowed pets where I live, so watching another person’s pet is ideal for me. I will do the common tasks of a sitter that is to feed, play, watch, and pick up poop. I have an hour lunch at work, so I should be able to stop by halfway on my shift for 40 minutes on the days I work. Before and after work I should be able to care for said dog. First, I want to know the rules for the dog at the home and I will do my best to follow. Other than those pick up poop outside / walk, and make sure pupper gets play and food.

About: Have welping experience and breeding experience have cared for multiple dogs and puppies at one time. Have a loving home with my own fur baby and my kids love all kinds of dogs. Jessica went above and beyond for Bella during my time away from home! She even allowed me to add on extra walks after already booking and accommodated anything I needed! Bella was well taken care of and got lots of love and affection while I was away and I couldn’t be happier with how at ease I could be while away from home knowing my dog was well taken care of and loved!

Eric was amazing with our two dogs - one large and small. We didn't know he had so much experience with dogs, including also being a dog handler! I guess I would call him a dog expert, as I learned more about dog behavior chatting with him even briefly!!! He knew exactly how to interact with our dogs each having their own personality. He was also great with our large dog who has a tendency to get anxious. Our dogs loved Eric and he was great with them! He walked, and played with them and I could see from the pictures they were happy and having fun!!! I will defiantly be booking him again. I highly recommend Eric for anyone wanting their dogs to be cared for well and to have peace of mind!!!
Kassidy is wonderful with our 2 boxer boys. She's flexible, timely, sweet to our gentle senior and doesn't mind our hyper big boy. She speaks so kindly to them, respects our home as she cares for them, and follows our instructions to a tee. Couldn't be happier with her service.

Michele is a true blue animal lover and I am so happy I got to meet her. Loki is very fussy about walking with new people but Michele was extremely patient and very kind with him. I would definitely recommend Michele to anyone interested in finding a great person to assist with doggy duties. Thanks Michele ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
