Diane was so amazing with my little guy, Jaxon! I desperately needed someone at the last minute because my sister and friend were unavailable. I’m so glad I went with my gut when I chose her. She responded very quickly, was punctual, and her communication was perfect. I really felt at ease that my puppy was in great hands with Diane. I will definitely be using her in the future!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was young and always loved giving them attention and care. I have two cats and a dog of my own right now. I love taking my dog on walks and seeing how much she enjoys it! I’m currently in school in the morning hours so I am available in the afternoon and evening. Sometimes I get out of school earlier. I enjoy staying active during the time I am not sitting at a desk in school, so I would love to walk and care for loved pets when needed! I will make sure to read all instructions and follow everything properly. I respect clients home's and only will be where I am allowed to care for your fur baby.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for large breeds, including my own Rottweiler, as well as two cats, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve worked with dogs who have allergies, mobility issues, and sensitive backgrounds, so I’m patient, attentive, and focused on keeping pets calm, safe, and comfortable. I’m very active and confident handling dogs of all sizes, including strong or high-energy breeds. Daily care is a big part of my routine, including walks, feeding, playtime, and maintaining consistent schedules. I also have experience preparing specialized meals and following detailed care instructions, including medications when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and stick closely to your pet’s routine to keep things stress-free. I provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I currently use a scooter for transportation, so I focus on local bookings and do not offer car transport (such as trips to dog parks that require driving). If preferred, I can have my boyfriend assist for extra support—especially helpful for longer stays or multiple pets—but only with your approval. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks during house sitting, such as keeping things tidy, bringing in mail, or basic upkeep. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a key part of my daily and weekly routine. I walk, feed, groom, and play with my dogs every day, making sure they stay happy and healthy. I also prepare homemade meals tailored to their needs, especially because one has allergies and the other has mobility challenges. With my cats, I give them attention and respect their space. I’m organised and committed to providing consistent, loving care for all pets in my life. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their instructions carefully to maintain the pet’s familiar environment. I make sure to provide companionship, feeding, exercise, and any medication as directed. I communicate regularly with the owner to update them on their pet’s wellbeing and any concerns.

About: Hello! I have been working as an experienced veterinary technician for over 3 years. I am a graduate student doing my first year online and looking to save money before moving to campus :) I am currently a full time graduate student. I will be fully online working from home for the first year before moving states to continue my education. I am looking to save money using my experience as a veterinary technician while doing something I love! I live in a 3 story town home 2 miles from the beach and a short walk to a park and the inlet! I have one cat living in my house but have an agreement with my roommate for her to be in a separate room during boarding stays if necessary. I am currently studying remotely for my first year of graduate school and am able to provide care from my home or yours on a flexible schedule.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve raised and puppy-trained dogs, have experience with exotic animals, and understand that every pet is different. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m free all day Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I only work a short evening shift, and on weekends I work until about 4:30pm. That leaves me with lots of time to make sure your pet gets the attention, walks, and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My apartment community has a fenced dog park for safe outdoor play, along with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks. While my apartment is on the smaller side, your pet will have lots of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and one on attention during their stay.

About: Hello, my name is Leila Woods and I am currently in my senior year at FAU. I was raised in a quiet beach town, but in a rather noisy house. For furry friends we have had multiple dogs, cats and fish, as well as some bearded dragons! I have been pet sitting for nearly five years now, as I began in high school with watching my neighbors pets. I love being able to spend my time adoring and caring for animals, especially now that I’m away at college with no pets of my own… so your pets will get extra love and attention! I am currently a senior in mostly remote classes and work an online job, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! As I don’t have animals of my own I will have extra love and attention for your pets! I treat any animal I work with as my own, being sure to care for its every need. As I care for your pets, I will also care for your home, ensuring all food and toys are where they belong.

About: I bring the treats, patience, and dog lovin’ energy!! I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s little quirks. I’m great with puppies after raising my own Great Dane, and following a consistent potty routine. I have experience from puppies to senior care, including oral medication and gentle TLC. You’ll always get updates and cute pics while you’re away. I work as a therapist in a rehab hospital, I’m off Sundays and Mondays and get off around 6:30pm mostly other days. My job is flexible so if there is a date/time you need you’re not seeing message me and maybe we can work something out! In a doggie & persons home, I follow your instructions closely. I had to find a dog walker in a pinch following a recent surgery. I was impressed by Diane's profile, contacted her, and she responded immediately, showing up the very next day as requested. She has been coming twice a day since, and, as I am home (which is unusual when you hire a dog walker), I have been able to observe that she is always incredibly prompt (to the minute) and gives my two boys a hearty 1/2 hour walk. They took to her immediately, which says a lot about her demeanor with them because they typically will not go with anyone, yet she is even able to lead them away from me without resistance. I am glad my current health situation led me to find Diane, as I will have many other needs for her services in the future.

As of August 2026, there are 4,219 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Manalapan. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Manalapan. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Manalapan.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Manalapan. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
