About: I have experience with elderly pups/dogsitting. I grew up with a pug, pekingese, french bulldog, and a cat. I grew up watching neighbor's pets and now we have two male bonded kitties of our own who turned out very sweet! We both work remotely/hybrid and have time for all the cuddles! Even if it's just a daily visit needed, we can make time for that as well. We have a quiet and safe apartment with a few bedrooms, we do own two friendly/sweet young male cats, both neutered and up to date on vaccines .
“Skyla was great. She took care of my little baby like I expected. I love how she taught him how to wait and not run towards the door everytime she left. I will definitely choose her services again in the future.”

“Andrew W. was very helpful with my dog. My pup gets anxious and barks at strangers and Andew W. calmed him down and put me at ease. He knows dogs’s behavior and can find right approach to any problem.”

“Marian is so great with my dog! She takes extra time and care everytime she visits, doing nice walks in different parts of the neighborhoods we usually don’t get to and making sure all his needs are met. We are so grateful for her.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I am so happy I did! Alisa came in to walk my dog while I was out of the country for a week. I was worry free with all the pictures and updates. I highly reccommend!”

About: 🐶 Hi, I’m Denise — Your Pet’s New Favorite Human Animals aren’t just something I care for — they’re part of my world. I take my time, let them set the pace, and give them affection, patience, and presence. 💻 I Work From Home — Your Pets Get Full Attention Because I work remotely, I’m home with your pets most of the day. That means: Consistent company and supervision No long stretches alone Plenty of walks, playtime, or lap time Your pet becomes my “co-worker,” and I couldn’t ask for better company. About: I have taken care of dogs for neighbors, friends, and family for around 4 years. I have experience in small, big, younger, and older dogs. This includes stopping in to let the dogs out, take on walks, feed them, and keep them company! Right now, I am a hostess at a restaurant so my hours aren’t too long. I typically work a few hours in the evening, but still have a flexible schedule so just reach out for any questions! I will make sure to give your dogs plenty of play time inside and outside and give them any treats that are permitted ☺️. Before and after drop ins, I will check food & water level and make sure there were not any accidents in the house.
“Tanya has done a great job with Ranger, it makes the middle of his afternoon whenever she drops by to take him out. Very passionate about animals and takes the care. Highly recommend.”

Brittney was amazing with Luna! Luna usually does not like strangers, so the fact that Brittney was able to get her to warm up so quickly really impressed me. She was patient, calm, and clearly has a natural way with animals. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Luna was comfortable and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Brittney to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and great with dogs!

Our pets love Roberta! We've had her do dog walks and overnight care as well. We were so lucky to find Roberta when our sitter canceled on us days before a 5 week trip and we were in a panic! She took care of our pup Java and our 2 kitties Lil Bug and Chickpea. She handled all our pets medications and different diets. She is a great communicator and sent lots of photo and video updates 💗 we highly recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
