About: I have a French Bulldog who is 7 years old. I have experience training puppies, caring for puppies and kittens, as well as looking after senior dogs and cats. I’m available to look after your pet early in the morning and in the evening. If needed, I can also help during the daytime By arrangement with you. I would prefer to take care of the pet in its own home, meaning at the owner’s house And also walk the dog as many times as needed.

“My dog Darla is excited to see Julia when she shows up, as are the people in the house! She is a pleasure to talk to and I feel safe entrusting Darla to her. This is the second time I’ve relied on her while going away and I will definitely call on her next time.”

About: What sets me apart is how I treat every pet with the same care as anyone I love. I understand the patience and trust you have to gain with the pets for them to feel comfortable. I want every pet to feel happy and have a good time when with me! I’m currently a junior in college, I just finished my Disney college program. I have a very flexible schedule right now and want to still be able to make something to get by. I will also be in different cities throughout the summer so I will be able to do it in different places. I am very available to do this on the daily or weekly routine. I care for all the pets with safety and trust. If you give that space for your pet to trust you then it leaves that place for them to understand that they are safe. The environment for my home is clean, peaceful with lots of room to run around in the backyard.
About: I love to play with dogs if they have a favorite Toy. I let them come up to me first to sniff and pet after. I work 8-430 M-F. I would be available for an evening drop in or strictly just open availability on weekends. Seeking side gig close by. I keep everything maintained and clean whether it’s my own cat or my brothers shiba dog. I like to make sure they have clean water at all times. If allowed give a treat for good behavior.
“Chelsea was amazing! On time, and followed instructions incredibly well and extremely considerate. Chelsea was so sweet to our little fluff Penny and very thoughtful through the entire experience. This was the first time we used Chelsea and definitely will not be the last. A true gem and Penny absolutely loved her.”

Whether it’s keeping your pet active and entertained or offering extra comfort to ease anxiety or loneliness, I’m here to ensure they feel happy, loved, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m a college student so I have free time in the morning from 7am-11am and evening time from 5:30pm-10pm. Any time on weekends and holidays. I provide attentive care, including feeding, walking pets outdoors, and ensuring they stay active and happy. Whether at my home or yours, I offer love, playtime, and comfort to keep your pets safe and stress-free while you’re away.
“Jessica is a life saver. She took care of our 3 boxers, 2 of whom are recovering from kennel cough, so we could celebrate our son’s birthday the evening before Christmas Eve. Our dogs love Jessica.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for all kinds of pets — including dogs 🐕, cats 🐈, hamsters 🐹, turtles 🐢, fish 🐠, and more. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. This is why I prioritize timely updates, plenty of photos, and sticking closely to each pet’s unique routine and needs. I work from home full time, so your pet will always be well supervised and taken care of. I’m happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, training reinforcement, or any specific care instructions that help your pet feel right at home. Because I work from home full time, I’m able to provide pets with lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. Caring for animals fits naturally into my routine, whether that means walks, playtime, cuddle breaks, or whatever else they might need! I’m thoughtful, reliable, and attentive when caring for pets, and I always want both pets and owners to feel comfortable and at ease. I’m also extremely organized, clean, and respectful of other people’s homes. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space the same way I treat my own and make sure everything is left exactly as you left it. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, well-cared-for pet and complete peace of mind. You can also expect regular updates, photos, and open communication so you always know how your pet is doing.

Feel free to contact me and let me know. I work at home overnight. Right now I’m a Surrogate 14 weeks pregnant. When my son is home from school, I would say the dogs get lots of exercise playing with him Fetching , the ball or just being outside. I have a fenced in yard so there’s lots of playtime outside. I leave the door open so they can come and go all day long. If they wanna play outside or come inside they would only have to be inside if FPL is here reading the meter or the landscapers come, but that’s only once a month.
“I greatly appreciate how well Dennis cares for my dog Ruby. I feel safe knowing he can handle her reactive behavior when she sees other dogs. See sees them all as a great danger to her, due to her past history before being rescued. Dennis is calm and strong, and she’s delighted to go for their morning walks together. I do recommend him for excellent dog walks.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Highland Beach
Camilla is absolutely amazing. We’ve had her return multiple times now to take care of our Yorkie. She’s always so kind, and flexible. She clearly loves what she does. Our Yorkie developed a chronic eye condition that she didn’t have the last time Camila came to watch her. She’s going to need eye drops for the rest of her life, unfortunately, and Camilla was so kind and more than willing to put in the drops while we were away. Bella had an accident in the house, because she got so excited from seeing her, Camila quickly reached out to me and asked how she could help clean it up. Which I thought was really considerate. She really is just a gem.

Myia is very good with my 10-year-old cocker spaniel who does not feel comfortable with everybody. She walked him for two consecutive days and he was excited to go with her. Myia is very sweet and extremely reliable. I will use her in future when I need someone to walk my dog.
I can’t say enough good things about Abi! She truly went above and beyond while we were out of town for the weekend. She walked our dog, Murphy, multiple times a day, ensuring he got plenty of exercise and attention. Not only did she stick to the schedule perfectly, but she also sent us daily updates with photos and little notes about how Murphy was doing, which gave us such peace of mind. Abi is reliable, professional, and genuinely cares about the dogs she walks. We’ll definitely be booking her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
