“Julie has been an exceptional sitter for my dog, Kingston. My schedule can be unpredictable, and trips often come up at inconvenient times, but Julie has always been flexible and accommodating to make everything work seamlessly. She took the time to come over, carefully review all of Kingston’s care instructions, and followed them perfectly without any issues. I had complete confidence knowing Kingston was in great hands, from his daily walks to administering his medication. Julie provides outstanding communication, professionalism, and genuine care for pets. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.”

I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully and make safety my top priority during every walk or visit. I work as a pharmacy technician, so I’m detail-oriented and comfortable following medication schedules and providing oral medications if needed. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply wants a calm companion, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I’ll also send photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner’s routine and instructions to make sure every dog feels happy and secure. I live in a pet-friendly community with a spacious dog park where dogs can safely enjoy extra exercise and playtime if requested. I’m also happy to take dogs to a local dog beach or explore new walking routes with the owner’s permission.
“Alexa was an incredible sitter. She responded to my last minute booking and went above and beyond for Rudy. I would definitely book with her again. I felt so comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. Thank you!!”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver for our beloved Oscar. Marian is responsible, experienced and patient. She walked Oscar 2x daily for a week while we traveled and reported back to us each time. We never had to worry or guess how he was doing! Thank You”

About: I'm a caring, responsible, and dependable pet sitter. As someone who has had pets my entire life, I understand that every pet has their own needs and personality. I have a genuine love to get to know and care for each animal as they need. I have expertise with pets of all ages and needs and can't wait to grow a bond with yours! I am currently an online student at FAU, since I take online my school work will not interfere with care. I am in the process of getting a part time job but it will only be for a few hours a day. Therefore, no animal will be left alone for more than a few hours. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I follow the pets normal routine as normal as possible, making sure their feeding, walks, etc are as close to normal as possible. I also respect clients home while caring for their pets by keeping their space clean and tidy.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and absolutely love caring for them! I have a Goldendoodle, a calico cat, and I am a mom of two guinea pigs who are six years old. I’ve cared for dogs of all personalities and regularly babysit my best friend’s dachshund. I’ve always had a huge passion for animals and even dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or marine biologist growing up. I’m responsible, patient, loving, and attentive, and I treat every pet like they’re my own! I’m a college student with classes mainly in the early morning, so I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting during the day, as well as overnight stays. I’m generally available on weekdays after 12 PM, except Mondays are free completely for me, and I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I always want pets to feel safe and comfortable for while their owners are away. In my home, I live in an apartment with a large, gated outdoor area where pets can safely get exercise and enjoy walks. In a client’s home, I would follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and will make sure everything is left clean and secure.

I will take amazing care of you pet and all of his/ her needs!
About: Hi, I’m Milan. I've always had a passion for animals, especially dogs! Growing up, my family always had pet pups, and I couldn't imagine life without one! Apart from a few pet sitting jobs for friends and family, I gained some professional dog walking experience in high school. I’ve also volunteered at a local animal shelter. When taking on a new client, I'd be happy to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is under my care, their safety is my number one priority! For me, that starts by getting as much information about your pup as possible. From behavior triggers to off-limits locations, I want to know everything about keeping your pooch safe and happy. They’ll always have my complete and undivided attention! I’ll also send tons of great pictures along so you can see just how much fun we’re having together. As a pet sitter, I appreciate how family-oriented my neighborhood is as well as the great sense of community. It's a safe place to roam around, and there are many pets in the area as well. I also live relatively close to parks and beaches which are all dog-friendly! I currently have an extremely flexible schedule so can accommodate most requests! Whether you need morning, midday or evening care, I can make it work! I make sure that pets under my care are in a safe environment at all times whether in my home or someone else's and that I am prepared for any situation that may arise.
About: After adopting our family rescue dog at a young age, I grew up learning how to care and tend to a dog. Though my dog is smaller, I have grown up around all different animals and dog sizes. I love to walk and play all different breeds of dogs:) I am currently a college student who is home for the summer. I work at a restaurant during the night but am interesting in caring for dogs during the week day. I prefer to care for dogs in the clients home and am very flexible with the needs of the client. I am very respectful of the clients space and will follow any instructions provided.
About: Hi! I’m a college student at FAU, originally from NJ. I have 2 dogs of my own (boxers) and have grown up around animals my whole life such as cats, dogs, and even reptiles! I have a dog who requires seizure medication and a senior dog with hip issues who requires medication and extra assistance from time to time. Therefore, I am experienced with making sure your pet receives any medication or any extra assistance they may need. Being so far away from my pets has been hard. I would love to take care of and meet your pets! I am currently a college student with about 1 class a day Monday-Friday. I have lacrosse on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every once in awhile Saturdays for 2 hours. I am able to come and take care of/let out your pets anytime besides the few hours I am preoccupied. I have had experience with dogs (specifically big dogs) for the past 10 years and am well knowledged on the proper care needed. I take my dogs (2 boxers) on walks frequently and feed them/give them their medicine. I have a senior dog with hip issues who requires medication and extra assistance jumping on furniture and requires short walks. My other dog experiences seizures and is given medication daily to prevent them as well as medication to stop them when they are occurring. Besides dogs, I have a couple years of experience living with and taking care of cats. I also have grown up with reptiles!!
About: Although I have no experience dog sitting for other families, I have taken care of my own dogs and watched them a lot. I love animals especially dogs and treat every single one like they are my own. I will provide a fun experience for your animal to make sure they aren't missing there owner to much while also caring for there needs. I am currently a student at Florida Atlantic University but only have a few classes during the week which leaves most of my days open. I am very flexible with my schedule and will do my best to fit yours. I cannot have any pets in my home as my roommate is allergic to dogs and cats. If hired to take care of pets I would do everything the owner asks me to and more. Making sure the pets have a fun time while also meeting there basic needs is my priority.

About: As a lifelong dog lover and dog owner, I understand that pets are family. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your dog while you’re away, and I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. As a homeowner and longtime Airbnb host, I’ve learned the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where both people and pets feel comfortable. I work remotely from home part-time, which allows me to provide a flexible schedule and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available Monday through Sunday for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and boarding. I enjoy keeping dogs active with walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of one-on-one attention. If your dog is social, enjoys other dogs, and you approve, I’m also happy to include visits to local dog parks such as Mizner Bark Dog Park for extra exercise and fun. Every dog is different, so I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, activity level, and any special instructions to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care. I take the time to learn each dog’s unique routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, potty breaks, and favorite activities. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your pet’s stay or visit, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention. “As a fellow dog owner, I understand how reassuring regular updates are, so I’ll send photos and messages to keep you connected with your pup while you’re away.” My dog is friendly, well-socialized, and enjoys meeting other dogs. I always make introductions carefully to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe.”
About: Hi! I’m America — dog mom to a very sweet goldendoodle named Monty and an all-around dog lover. If your pup stays with me, they are absolutely treated like family. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so I focus on giving your pup tons of love, structure, and fun — the same way I care for Monty. Your dog will get lots of attention, potty breaks, playtime, belly rubs, enrichment, and all the cuddles they want. Monty is friendly, gentle, and LOVES meeting new dog friends, so your pup will always have a happy companion to play and relax with. 🐾❤️ I only offer boarding on the days I work from home and on weekends — which means your pup gets full attention, lots of supervision, and a relaxed, consistent routine. On my work-from-home days, I’m here all day to give your dog: • Frequent potty breaks • Lots of playtime with Monty • Regular walks • Supervised downtime • All the cuddles they want On weekends, I’m home even more, so your pup gets maximum love and activity. I don’t board on days I go into the office because I want every dog in my care to get the attention, structure, and supervision they deserve. Your dog will never be left alone for long stretches — that’s important to me as a dog mom myself. Safety is my top priority. I board dogs only on days I am home all day or weekends to ensure constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, structured walks, and a calm environment. All dogs are monitored during interactions with my own dog and given appropriate space and rest. For walks and drop-ins, I follow your dog’s established routine, use secure equipment, maintain clean food/water areas, and provide detailed updates. Your pet will always be cared for with attention, reliability, and respect.

About: I have experience as both a dog walker and dog sitter and truly enjoy caring for animals. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, administering lots of love and attention, and keeping pets happy while their owners are away! I’m dependable, flexible attentive, and committed to making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always strive to provide the same level of care they receive at home 💛🐶 I currently work a part-time remote job and am also a college student, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. I have no problem commuting to clients’ homes for walks, drop-in visits, or pet sitting, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine. Whether your pup needs care during the day, evenings, or weekends, I’m dependable, responsive, and committed to making sure they’re well cared for while you’re away. 🐾

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Highland Beach
Camilla is absolutely amazing. We’ve had her return multiple times now to take care of our Yorkie. She’s always so kind, and flexible. She clearly loves what she does. Our Yorkie developed a chronic eye condition that she didn’t have the last time Camila came to watch her. She’s going to need eye drops for the rest of her life, unfortunately, and Camilla was so kind and more than willing to put in the drops while we were away. Bella had an accident in the house, because she got so excited from seeing her, Camila quickly reached out to me and asked how she could help clean it up. Which I thought was really considerate. She really is just a gem.

Myia is very good with my 10-year-old cocker spaniel who does not feel comfortable with everybody. She walked him for two consecutive days and he was excited to go with her. Myia is very sweet and extremely reliable. I will use her in future when I need someone to walk my dog.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
