About: I've cared for cats since I was about 8 years old, which is when I moved next door to neighbors with two cats. When they would travel, I would take care of attention, feeding and cleaning. On my 20th birthday, I adopted my cat from a local shelter. Her name is Nala and she is 12 years old now. A very independent cat, but loving and accepting of her dog brother. Years ago, my family rescued a mother cat and her litter. We fostered them until all but two were adopted. My brother kept those two and named them Hindu and Tigre. When Tigre was about two years old she randomly started playing fetch with me using her mouse toy (astounding to me). Hindu has a bit of a different story. I used to walk around with him on my shoulders, but now he's too heavy. Which is awesome considering he is a stomach cancer survivor and was once very skinny. I have experience caring for cats as young as 8 weeks. I've also volunteered at shelters and cared for the cats of all life stages there.
