I am a cat owner, who loves to play with dogs....and sing with birds. A transplant from Kansas, I have experience with indoor and outdoor pets of all sizes. I bring a special level of care in prioritizing the safety, comfort, and joy of your pets and home. How I started: In 2008, I stepped in during an emergency, to care for the pets of an acquaintance after her husband suffered a devastating injury which took them out of state for an extended period of time. Another woman who also stepped in to assist, noticed how much the animals loved me, and was impressed by how reliable I was (I have since heard all the horror stories). Soon thereafter, she invited me to care for her furry and feathered family, consisting of (2) dogs, (2) cats, (2) macaws, and a cockatiel. Word of mouth spread, which lead to me becoming Auntie Becks to multiple families, and caring for a variety of indoor and outdoor pets, including: * Dogs * Cats * Macaws * Cockatiels * Hamsters * Ferrets * Lizards * Turtles * Chickens * Ducks * Geese * Horses * Cows (Note: Auntie *Farmer* Becks is only able to provide *basic feeding and watering for large farm animals / live-stock. 😃) From ear-scratches and tummy rubs for your furry-fam, to singing a little ditty for your feathered-fam, (and even throwing that same ball 50 gazillion times), your pets will get excited to see Auntie Becks show up exclusively for them, and your anxiety will subside knowing that your babies are receiving love, care, and the best substitute for your undivided attention.

Safety, trust & environment
Just as we miss our loved ones when they are apart from us, so too do our pets miss us. Caring for your babies in your own home helps them to maintain their routine, including feeding times, potty times, walks, and napping in their favorite spot. Bonus: they get play time with Auntie Becks! While I can never replace you, in their hearts, I can ease some of the loneliness and anxiety felt in your absence. For our initial visit, I like to pop in for a short meet and greet, near their meal time, in order to better get to know them, you, and the routines you share, so that I can fill that gap as seamlessly as possible. Please leave a small light on inside your house, and outside, if leaving in late afternoon or evening, so that your pet and I am able to clearly see each other when I enter your home on that first night. Regarding the security of your home: I take care to follow security precautions outlined by you. I will not bring strangers into your home, except in rare instances where I have discussed it with you in advance, and provided an opportunity to meet the person ahead of time. As a guest in your home, I like to clean-up after myself (including dishes, sheets, trash, and spills); the only indicator I was there should be the thank you note on the counter, pictures you received throughout your time away, and the excited joy of your pets to welcome you home.

Rebecca was great with the boys. Obviously a dog / pet person. Was prompt and took the boys on walks and fed them as requested. Highly recommend her.
Rebecca was amazing with our frenchie Mika! She sent so many pictures and updates which made us feel so comfortable while away. We also had some travel issues getting home and she was very flexible and helpful on that final day! We look forward to using her again sometime!
Beckie is really great. We will absolutely have her to watch our pets again in the future.
Rebecca was amazing with our two pups! She took great care of our elderly dog who is 16 and our younger dog who has a hard time getting used to new people. Both dogs were so comfortable and happy to see her when she came for the daily visits. A true pet whisperer and genuinely great person.

Schedule
I run my own accounting business, and can work remotely from my home or yours! The portable nature of my work, combined with a small client load, affords me ample time for walks, treats, meal times and potty breaks.....sprinkled with ample ear scratches and tummy rubs, of course!
