“Nick is fantastic! He's flexible, reliable and always responsive. We have a pretty large dog and Nick is great, handling him with ease. We're very comfortable leaving him in Nick's care. Best of all, our dog seems to really love Nick!”

“Roxanne was very caring, and I'm extremely comfortable leaving my reactive pup with her. I'm so happy to have found her. She was even able and willing to put him back in his crate, while others have not. I look forward to her taking my pup again.”

“I've had the privilege of using Ryan's service twice now and I plan to re-use him often. He's been very responsive and has followed directions extremely well. And this is with my topsy turvy schedule and high expectations. I love the sh*t out of my little canine buddy... and yeah... finding new people who are reliable, hopefully honest, and willing to earn trust between three of us is hard and is not a real fun experience. Ryan's been wonderful. Ryan being a part of our atwater village neighbourhood doesn't hurt either. Being close and familiar with streets and animal hospitals in case of emergencies and trails and stuff is so much of a relief. Zero complaints, only kudos, from my mutt. Still early in the relationship, but so far it feels like a better community just having him here. Updates if anything changes. I'm not expecting anything but for the better. cheers!”

About: Hi, I'm Emma! Being surrounded by dogs of my own for most of my life, I learned to care for animals at a young age. I am open to being around all animals and have been a devoted cat owner for over a year now. Kittie is very loving and minds her own business when it comes to other animals around. I can relate to the experience of having to leave your pet for someone else to watch. Don't worry, you will get constant updates and photos! My apartment complex has a private dog park for residents and is less than five minutes from beautiful Echo Park, perfect for walks, exercise, and boarding! As a person, I am honest, reliable, and loving. I understand the importance of detail and will follow any routine that you usually follow. I am currently enrolled in college, so my availability would work around a fairly flexible schedule. It would fill my heart to take care of your pup when you aren't available and give them all of the love they need!

About: I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and everything in between, as well as cats! I've had my cat for eight years and my last dog for around five before he passed at the age of sixteen, so was very used to taking care of an elderly dog. Two years ago we got a Pomeranian husky when she was a puppy, so have some puppy training experience as well! I have open availability all week and am happy to do any petsitting long term or short term and take animals out for walks, or do check ins at any point during the day! I love animals, so will give your critters lots of love while you're gone. Happy to play with animals, take them on walks, take to the park, and keep to any routines you have for your pets!

About: I've cared for pets my whole life - everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I carry a calm, patient approach when it comes to pet care and have a genuine love for all animals. I take the necessary time to understand each pet's unique personality and needs, whether that means long walks, or giving them space to warm up to me. I am experienced with administering oral medication and basic training. I am highly organized and pay close attention to detail, and to whatever routines your pet may need. Overall, your pet's happiness and safety are my top priorities. I am a recent college graduate actively searching for work. With nothing concrete yet, I am available during the week and weekends to accommodate any specific pet care needs. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or yours, safety and comfort always come first. I maintain a calm and clean environment and provide plenty of space to relax, play and feel as close to home as possible. In a client's home, I am always mindful that I'm a guest - respecting your space while keeping your pet's routine consistent.

“Alex started walking my Pomeranian in the afternoons after I returned to a hybrid work schedule and she is amazing!! I can tell Sammy enjoys her time outside with Alex midday and I can fully trust Alex with her while I’m at work or away.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past decade, including my mom’s 13yr old pug. I will spoil your baby with care, games, cuddles and love. Ask my dog Dinah! Living her best life. I work from home and I’m a freelancer. My schedule is very flexible and I’m able to do dog walks and drop-ins anytime as long as we plan ahead. Food, treats, , taking them on walks, giving medications (if needed), caring, picking up after them, making sure they feel safe and comfortable in the absence of their humans.

“Alexandra is great. Some rovers will walk your dog, take one pic, and give no report. Multiple times Alexandra has alerted us to possible issues - constipation or limping on a paw. She sends multiple pictures of her visit and always a detailed report, with some humor too! I’m very thankful for her attentiveness to our pup.”

About: I've had dogs for most of the past 24 years, raising some from puppyhood to age 16, others were adopted as seniors. I've spent the most time caring for my senior dogs, I am experienced in feeding and medicating, a patient walker and often sit for neighbors' dogs. I am also a dog foster, and occasionally have a foster dog in my care. I find fostering very rewarding since my last dog passed away. I am self-employed, working from home most days so I have flexibility and availability for walks. For sitting, all I need is a few days notice, wifi and I can bring work with me if necessary. I am currently without my own pet but sometimes foster, which shouldn't impact my availability. I love caring for and interacting with dogs, am respectful of others' property and I am responsible. A meet and greet with your dog is essential for me and the dog to be comfortable with each other before the first walk or drop-in.

About: I have years of experience with animals.( Dog/ puppies, Cats/kittens, seniors, special needs) I can administer medications, teach your dog the basic commands sit, stay, watch me, touch, paw. I have spent a lot of my free time volunteering with different animal organizations, including wildlife rescue with California Wild life Center. I am currently very available! I am a morning person and love walking before the sun gets too hot. I'm ready and happy to take care of your pet. Im happy to water any plants you might need me to, bring on packages or mail. I am very respectful of your home and will clean up any "accidents" that might happen while pet is alone.

About: 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐔𝐒: We are animal lovers through and through, with years of exposure to and experience with raising and caring for animals of all kinds, in every stage of life, from birth until passing. 𝐉𝐀𝐊𝐄: I have lived with dogs, cats, and rabbits since I was born and have spent the majority of my upbringing caring for an eclectic spread of farmyard animals including horses, goats, chickens, tortoises, and more. I have birthed goats, bottle fed kittens and piglets, and pulled a chicken bone from more than one puppy's throat. I can confidently administer a wide array of medicines that your pet may need, including eye and ear drops, oral syringes, and topical ointments, and can ensure that all of their pills get down. I also do all of our own dogs' bathing and grooming! 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐘: I have also spent the majority of my life with many different animals including hermit crabs, birds, hamsters, bunnies, lizards, snakes, and many cats and dogs! I have a background in rescue work as a Foster Coordinator for a large rescue organization back where I'm from, New York. It has always been my passion to protect and care for animals, and you can rest assured your pets will be safe and loved here with us. I am available 24/7 for your pet care needs, and very rarely leave the house even for a few minutes while my pet guests are here! If for any reason we do need to go for a drive, we have a big car with no back seats, but instead a giant dog bed, set up for trips around town and transport as needed. Our home and lives are perfectly set up to accommodate your furry friends, and we can't wait to host you! 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄: Haley is available full time for pet sitting services while Jake joins in on the weekends after working in office during the week! We're typically an early-to-rise, early-to-sleep household, but we can always be flexible with pick-ups and drop-off as needed, as well as any extensions that may come up. And, of course, there will always be time for pictures and updates throughout the day! While we will absolutely ensure that all guests get the most outdoor playtime and indoor attention possible at all times, depending on the volume of guests in the home and the timing of the given day, walks are not guaranteed unless otherwise directly arranged. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄: Most of our time will likely be spent at home, but with plenty of access to the fresh air and sunshine of the fenced backyard. The yard is on a small hillside, with plenty of climbing space for an adventurous pup to explore, as well as ample flat land just outside the door for our more indoor-oriented guests to pop out for a quick 'business' trip. Dogs will always be accompanied and supervised while outdoors. 𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒: Guests will have full run of the home during the day, and, unless otherwise directed, nights will most likely be spent with everyone, human and animal, together in the master bedroom, wolfpack-style. We are totally fine with animals on furniture but if you prefer they not pick up that habit, please let us know and we will accommodate! There are of course plenty of dog bed options here, but crates or any other specific training requests that you may have are of course welcome as well. *𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀: Arrangements can be made to sequester them to the back half of the house, and their own designated room, with minimal disturbance, if needed. 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄: Our two pups eat twice daily and have two separate diets that includes supplements, oils and medications. All of this to say: "We are very comfortable with feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and medication requirements." Just let us know what your pal needs, we'll make sure they get it! **Teeth-brushing for trained/acclimated pets can be arranged as well. 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘: There is a flight of stairs from the driveway to the entrance of the home so, if your pup is in their senior years and/or deals with a mobility impairment and requires assistance entering the house, so long as they are of good health and temperament (and ideally below 90lbs), and with your permission, I would be happy to assist in carrying them up and returning them down. The house itself is all one story. 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞, 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬! 📸

When it comes to caring for pets in my home, I prioritize their comfort, well-being, and safety. Here are some of the ways I ensure their needs are met: Cozy Environment: I create a cozy and welcoming space for pets in my home. “Emma Grosjean is one of my best friends, but more importantly she is my dog Rocky's best friend. Rocky is most excited when Emma comes to visit because he knows she will play ball with him and walk him around the block. ”

John C.
“I have seen John be a compassionate, caring and responsible pet guardian with his own, fostered or others’ pets. John gets my full trust when a pet is in his care.”

Aleksa P.
“Aleksa is a lover of all creatures. Always has been. Cats, dogs and wildlife all inhabit a special place in her world and in her heart. She volunteered at the California Wildlife Center for a year where she was able to administer some first aid to animals in distress. Later she volunteered at Sante D'Or no-kill adoption center. She has always had pets and now her Louie has given her the experience of a very bonded relationship with a dog. Aleksa has that quality that dogs sense is filled by love, peace, steadiness, safety and kindness. They naturally gravitate to her. We were once walking down a very busy street with several lanes of traffic. A kitten ran into the traffic and somehow, miraculously, made it through from one side of the street towards us. Aleksa picked up the frightened kitty and gentle stroked the area between its nose and forehead. She knew exactly what to do in the moment and then turned to her friends at Sante D'Or where she brought the kitten to be examined, fed and put up for adoption. She named him "Dodger" because he dodged all that traffic. Dodger turned out to be a beautiful, tranquil lap cat and is living his best life. I know Aleksa feels dogs, cats, all pets make us better human beings.”

Avery P.

“Thank you, Avery for being so attentive and alert with Sammy!”

Jake & Haley C.

“Jake has been a very reliable & responsible pet sitter. This is the most important thing, since my babies are everything to me. My dogs are rescues, and are usually very shy of new people. It typically takes them a long while to even begin to warm up to someone new, but they took to Jake immediately. They now LOVE going to stay with Jake, almost like it's a vacation. He has a very calming demeanor, and the dogs are very comfortable with him. He texts me pictures daily so I can share in their walks & other activities. I din't even have to ask him to do this, he just does. I travel a good deal, and I am now able to put my mind completely at ease whenever I leave, knowing my babies will be safe and well cared for. This is SO important to me. I would HIGHLY recommend Jake to anyone who wants to make sure their pets are loved & well cared for.”

Aimee D.
“I recently hired Aimée for my dog, and I couldn't be happier with the experience!! She has a genuine passion for dogs and she’s the kindest person. Very trustworthy!”

Leanne V.
“Leanne is an exceptional person when it comes to interacting with pets, particularly dogs. When she visited my family home, Leanne took my dog for a few walks and loved to play with him whenever she had the chance! She was very caring and responsible and that's why I trusted her to watch my dog on numerous occasions.”

Andi S.
“Andi loves dogs! She took care of my senior dog multiple times, and I never once worried about him knowing he was in her care. She loved playing with him or just hanging on the couch by his side. She was responsible and always showed up on time, walked and feed him on schedule, and even gave him his daily meds. Anyone would be lucky to have Andi as their dog walker/sitter! She's the best!”

Glendale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Roxanne continues to be an exceptional dog walker and an invaluable part of our lives. She truly cares about my pup and goes above and beyond to support us in any way she can. Since working with her, I’ve seen a remarkable improvement in his behavior—especially with socialization. She’s even managed to walk him alongside other dogs, something he was previously too fearful to do. I’m incredibly grateful to have found her!

Dan helped us out with a last minute request for recurring dog walks once a week and we’re so happy we booked with him! Dan was really attentive to our dog Guppy and patiently worked with him upon meeting so that he felt super comfortable on the walk! He is very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond with giving Guppy extra time to walk/do his business and play in the park - his help was a huge relief to us! Cannot recommend Dan enough for pet care, we will continue to use his services weekly!

Heather was awesome. As a person and as a dog lover & giver! She did great with our three dogs. They loved her and I felt they were safe with her. This booking was a last-minute request for the next day and she was available and responded quickly. We met later in the day, and boom just like that, all my stress was relieved and my dogs were booked.

Pia is so wonderful! She was super responsive on a last minute request, asked all the right questions, and clearly understands and loves dogs. I haven’t needed a dog walker in at least 5 years so I was a bit nervous to start up again, but I’m so glad I found Pia! Would trust and recommend her to any dog parent :)

Jonas has been absolutely amazing with my dog! My 50 lb pup is always SO excited when he sees him; tail wagging, ready to go. You can genuinely tell Jonas cares about the animals he works with, and that makes all the difference. He’s reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced. It gives me such peace of mind knowing my dog is in great hands. Highly recommend!

Amanda was phenomenal! From the meet and grew to the actual walk, her communication was consistent and she provided updates and plenty of pictures. She took excellent care of my dog and I will regularly book her every time I need a professional and caring walked.

Hannah is so wonderful with my dog! She’s been walking him twice a day, 5 days a week for the last three weeks while I work and she is so communicative every step of the way. She sends me photos and videos each day, which I’ve come to genuinely love and look forward to when I get home at night. Even leaves little notes about the other dogs he’s made friends with in the neighborhood. So sweet! Very caring, loving, and I feel such a great weight lifted throughout my day knowing my boy is in such good hands. We love Hannah ☺️
