She came to our house to do a meet and greet with us and our dogs. They are both senior dogs and need watchful care. We could tell right away the dogs liked her, as did we. “TLDR: you should absolutely book Alexis to care for your dog. Full Review: I had to find a last minute sitter/walker for Caesar when his normal sitter was sick and Alexis stepped up in a big way! She was there within the hour and kept me updated with plenty of pictures of Caesar (which I honestly love receiving at work. Makes my day so much better!) I’ve come across walkers on here who are against walking a pitbull because of prejudice (which I think they shouldn’t be allowed on the app, but that’s not the point). The point is that Alexis is clearly an animal lover because she saw an animal that needed her and she stepped up without hesitation. 100% could not recommend her more.”

About: We lost our cocker spaniel of 13 years about 2 years ago so I love to take care of dogs now that we don’t have a dog to pamper. We care for one dog at a time unless two dogs are siblings or good friends then that’s OK. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park nearby or just snuggle on the couch and chill with them. I realize how important your baby is to you and will give them love, companionship and special care. We love having a dog around. I’m retired and an empty nester so I am flexible and around all the time. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park and Glenbard West HS just down my street. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. We love hanging out in the back yard or the porch with our dog guests and take frequent walks.

Thantita did an amazing job with Toby. I feel like because he’s dark and big he can scare people but he’s really just all looks. She was on the floor playing with him during the meet & greet and you could see he was relaxed around her. She also tended to my one cat that has tummy issues by feeding her canned food. She even added a little water to it to keep her hydrated. She sent really great pics every day too. We got stuck in a snow storm & had to come home a day later and she was there for us kindly continuing to watch our pets. 10/10 she’s fantastic!

Rosa was so wonderful with our dog. She walked him, played with him and made sure he was well fed, happy and safe. She communicated with us during or after each visit and even sent pictures of him having fun which gave us great peace of mind knowing he was being well cared for while we were away. Edgar and his kids did such a great job taking care of my cat Jake that even though he’s so shy with people he started to feel comfortable and safe with them within a few days. He always had plenty of food and water and Edgar was communicative and sent pictures everyday and text messages everyday. I highly recommend him and his kids. Katherine was such an amazing help for our anxious attachment kitty, Gwen! My husband and I went on vacation for a week, and we were worried that Gwen would starve herself like she did on our last vacation. Katherine gave us daily updates and pictures of Gwen. Alex took wonderful care of our two cats while we were on a two week trip. She dropped in once a day and even volunteered to check in a few extra times to put medicine on our cat that had a skin sore. Alex is great at communicating and sent lots of pictures.
