“We are so happy to have met Tom! He did a fantastic job taking care of all three of our furry kids and we would not hesitate to have him look after them again. He has also been great about helping us out to walk the dogs if we are away for a day. We appreciate his updates and the sweet pictures he takes. The whole family is now big Tom fans! Thank you Tom!”

About: I've taken care of many foster pets from puppies to seniors and have always had 2 or more dogs in my household. I volunteered for a few years at a local shelter cleaning cages and giving those babes as much love and attention as I could. I hope your pup and I can have a great time! I'm currently not working so I am available for your pup anytime! I'm dedicated to giving them the best care that I can and often! I have a sweet rescue husky of my own who loves to meet new friends. Your pup will enjoy running around on our 3 acres or even a trip to the park! If your pup prefers walks I live in a large suburb with many great routes!

About: I love all animals and grew up taking care of all sorts of pets, however dogs hold the biggest piece of my heart. My wonderful pup, Bentley, recently went over the rainbow 🌈 after 13 amazing years together and there’s been a little piece of me missing ever since. Let me love on your dog when you can’t! We will definitely be helping each other out ❤️🥰 I work from home and can be around most of the time your pet is in my care. I love to play and go on walks. My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate your pet, whatever the need. When they are with me, they are welcome on the couch and bed or I will follow any instructions to keep your fur baby on their normal regimen. Every animal has different needs and I will make sure they feel comfortable and are well cared for. I am familiar with aggressive breeds and know how to handle all kinds of situations. I’ve also had a senior pet that required medicines and special foods. Whatever kind of care your pet needs, I can assure you I will treat them like my own. I generally only sit 1-3 dogs at a time (dependent on size) since I live in an apartment, however I will take them out often to make sure they get enough exercise and I will smother them with love if they will let me! If you have more then 3 dogs or any questions on how many dogs will be here with yours, please reach out! I will try to accommodate wherever I can.

About: For over two decades, my life has been joyfully filled with wagging tails, wet noses, and happy chaos! It’s meant adventure walks (sniffing every important scent!), mastering mealtime quirks (from wiggle dances to secret cheese pockets!), and unleashing pure playtime fun – epic fetch, splash sessions, and triumphant tug-of-war. The real magic? Building trust with countless furry friends, from shy pups seeking belly rubs to ecstatic "repeat offenders." It's been pure joy, one muddy paw, contented sigh, and unconditional friendship at a time. The best kind ! I’m fairly open and can typically work with your schedule! 7 day a week availability all year! Just reach out to talk about your specific needs. Providing vigilant care and maintaining secure environments – in my own home and yours – is always the priority. Safety and well-being come first, everywhere.🐾

“Laura came over to meet and greet and Ruby liked her immediately. It was a good match. It was a last minute booking and she came through. I am grateful. I will use her services again.”

About: I've had a cat most of my life. I've had the most enjoyment from pets when I am caring, playing, walking and cuddling with them. I'm willing to adjust my pet rates and house sitting rates. Im organized and like to keep routines. Such as walks at 7 am and hourly thereafter. Feeding twice a day and treats for obeying commands. I routinely feed and water them twice a day. Take them for walks, exercise, play games and cuddle with them. Grooming ( brushing fur and teeth, clean ears) sometimes wet cloth bathing and Medications as needed. Also I do have experience in wound care as needed.

About: —~> Ask about Farm Animal Care <~— Spending time with animals is a gift. It is a joy to meet new furry friends and give them extra love while their caretakers are out adventuring or working. I love to go for walks on the beach or in the woods. I like to chase sunsets and sunrises. All of which are more enjoyable with sweet creatures. I adore giving affection and opportunities to play for both cats and dogs. I have tended to a variety of different types of animals over the years. Some need ample one on one attention. Which I accommodate by giving them solo walks and separate meal times when requested. Others who loved to be social or had other animal roommates that needed plenty of outdoor time. Elder cats and dogs who needed extra special care, medication, fluids, and special diets. Dog and cat drop ins can make a world of difference for an animal navigating extended time away from their people/person. I give them all focused attention, consideration, bonding interactions and love. Dog walks are a vital key to their health and well being. It takes a village to tend to our critters too! Human and animal. I have many special spots for them to enjoy throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Including safe off leash areas when requested. I have a 5 year old dog, Hoodi. She does not come with me for cat or dog drop ins. Dog walks can include her company or not, always at your discretion. She does join me for overnight pet sitting and loves other dogs. She tends towards submissive and loves to chase and play. She is very mellow indoors and enjoys watching the activity of others. Throughout her life she has helped with pet sits. For her first four years of life she lived with two other dogs. She is a great addition to any pack. I have experience farm sitting which includes plant watering of green house, gardens, field and pasture. As well as goat milking, poultry care, and feeding of cows, horses, goats and pigs. Feel free to message me in booking about pricing for full time/part time farm care. Please note my pet sitting is limited to the Olympic Peninsula. I will do pet sitting in Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Blyn, Port Ludlow, Brinnon, Port Gamble, Quilcene, Chimacum, Port Hadlock, Irondale, Marrowstone Island, and occasionally Port Angeles, Joyce, Forks, and Queets. I prefer extended house sits and like to build solid bonds with animals. I prioritize repeat clients. I have additional references outside of Rover. As many of my clients book me via word of mouth. This profile gives ease of access to my calendar. I currently work seasonally teaching arts based school break kids camps and afterschool programing on the Olympic Peninsula. I spend the rest of my time making art from home and adventuring outdoors. This means I can have extended quality time with your pet(s) for walks and/or outdoor play and indoor care. I believe maintaining routines and exercise is important for the physical and emotional well being of all animals. I will strive to uphold this and adapt my schedule as best as I can for your pet(s). I enjoy taking the time to communicate with you about your desires, concerns, texting check ins and sending sweet photos for your peace of mind. As every pet is an important family member. I know them to be kin.

“This was our first time using Scott and he was Great!! He sent pictures and gave updates about each walk with the pups. We felt very comfortable with Scott and will be using him in the future. Thanks Scott!”

About: We’re two young professionals that love animals! Tom’s a video producer & Evelyn’s an engineer. We have years of fostering experience and professional K9 behavior and obedience training! For the past couple of years we were traveling in our self converted camper van, but now we’ve settled down in Port Townsend with our 2 dogs and you can always find us camping or hiking! We have experience with the biggest of dogs, down to the smallest of kittens! Let us know what your buddy needs and we’ll take care of it! Typically, if one of us isn’t available, the other one is. We usually leave our doggo’s at home, for simplicity, and take turns on the visits. Any questions or requests, just let us know! ¡También hablo español! We have flexible schedules so it is no problem at all to fit your pups into our daily lives! We are free to care for them anytime of the day! We are very mindful of trying to maintain the same routine that your pet is used to. If they're couch potatoes, we'll lounge and watch a movie, if they're active, we'll go out for a long walk or run. If they need a treat after every walk or to be told they're a good girl whenever they're being a good girl, they'll get it!

About: I have been around pets of all kinds from birth. We've always been a multi-dog and cat (and other creature) household. I have vast experience when it comes to caretaking animals, and was breeding and rearing guinea pigs at the age of eight. My folks bred and raised dogs in my teen to college years (cocker spaniels and then English bulldogs), and I have tended to the well-being of the newest of brand new of puppies, the most pregnant of mama dogs, and every walk of canine in between. I nursed my now elderly bebe boy through parvo in his first year of life, rescued a stray kitten from under a neighbor's car and nursed him back from the brink of death (and then adopted him, obviously), and plucked my little girl as an emaciated and abused little pup from the mean streets and spent many patient hours, days, months, years getting her to trust and enjoy the world after early and lasting trauma (you'd never know now; she's grown into the most spunky and affectionate little bub 🥰). There isn't much I can't handle when it comes to the caretaking of creatures. I simply prioritize their calm and trust, and I am always ready with all the cuddles and scritches and runarounds when the time is right, whether right off the bat or after a spell of becoming better acquainted. I'm a gig and construction worker, making my mornings and evenings generally flexible for Rover clients and freelance work. Happy to help with walks and drop-ins throughout the day that do not require full day or overnight presence. I know how important routine can be to our little dudes. I take copious notes to have on hand for what is typically expected in terms of feeding times, activity levels, favorite toys and treats, off-limit nibbles and allergies, known stressors, and safe spaces. For example, my pups feel most safe in the bathroom, more specifically in the tub, when they are most stressed. Don't know where they picked it up (maybe sensing that's where mama goes when stressed... 😅), but we always pile blankets into an empty bath and snuggle watching loud tv on days with fireworks. I love to know all of those kinds of things when I'm visiting a pet's home so that I can best make their time away from their family as easy and calm and fun as possible.

About: With a lifelong passion for pets that started at the tender age of 8, I've been nurturing and caring for dogs and cats ever since. Growing up with my own furry companions and extending my love to the pets of friends and family has equipped me with invaluable experience. I understand the unique needs and quirks of our four-legged friends, ensuring they receive the love, attention, and care they deserve. Your beloved pets are not just animals to me; they're cherished family members, and I'm committed to making their time with me as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Trust me to provide a safe, nurturing environment where their happiness and well-being are my top priorities. I maintain a flexible schedule, ensuring I'm readily available to care for your dog whenever you need. Your furry friend's happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I'm eager to create memorable moments with them. Don't hesitate to reach out, and together, we'll make your dog's day extra special! 🐾 Safety and trust are my top priorities. I hope the pet-sitting location has essential safety features for a smooth experience. Your peace of mind and your pet's well-being matter most, and I'm committed to providing both.

“Patricia is a fantastic pet sitter! We have a senior dog with arthritis and noise fear that requires medication, and mindful walking because he's reactive with other dogs. Our cat is usually very shy with new people but she loves Patricia and warmed up to her right away. We've also got exotic pets: fish tanks and a ball python, and she is great with them! I trust her with our home and all our pets, she has an access code at all times and has helped us out with dog walks during a few emergencies where we couldn't get home on time. If you're looking for a great sitter, I highly recommend her!”

“Elaina loves all type of pets and has a huskey of her own. She has always been on time and taken great care of my dogs. From staying the weekend to daily walks. Elaina has always communicated with me about when shes there and when she leaves. I also love when she sends me pictures of my pups.”

Sierra S.
“Sierra loves dogs/animals. She recently lost her dog to cancer and she was the BEST doggy mommy! I know it would make her so happy to be able to take care of other dogs, and help other dog parents making sure their babies are taken care of when they can’t be there. She is someone you can trust in your home and with your pets! No question about that. She is extremely reliable and has so much love to give. She has the biggest heart and no one would ever have to think twice about her taking care of their pups when they aren’t home. Her own dog, Bentley, was on strict diet regiments for 7 years when he had cancer so she can also be depended on to follow strict instructions if needed. Sierra takes pride in anything she does and any owner would be lucky to have her as a Wag Caregiver.”

Mary T.

“Mary came on short notice and my sometimes leery dog liked her immediately :) She seemed very attentive and knowledgeable. Would definitely use her again.”

Jacq B.
“Jacq is one of those lovely humans who absolutely loved and adores animals! I have never seen anyone who loves and truly enjoys their own animals more than Jacq does, and I always feel 100% comfortable leaving my own animals in Jacq’s care! Our dog gives Jacq her special grisly greeting, reserved for special people; and our standoffish cats even deign to acknowledge Jacq’s existence…which says a lot! Even the mini horses give a whinny!!”

“Dior and I used to live together, and she took great care of my cat, Rasta. She is attentive and caring, but also able to maintain a healthy routine for pets. Her organization is a great plus. Never hesitate to hire her, your fur babies will thank you 😊”
