About: I’ve had cats, rabbits, and small animals all my life. I’ve taken care of friends and family’s animals (cats, dogs, birds) for 16 years. I have experience with senior animals, animals recovering from surgery, and animals taking medications. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your animal in the care of someone else. I strive to provide care and enrichment while you’re away. I’m not currently working, so I have a very flexible schedule. I can take requests on short notice and can provide longer play sessions for those that need it. Every animal reacts differently to new people. If some take time to warm up or prefer distance, I respect that. If some want to be loved on and need extra attention, I’m here for that too! My top priority is making sure your pet feels safe and cared for.

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have several years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs. I spent 6 years training and competing in 4-H with my Yorkie, Milly, and we competed at the state level multiple times, which gave me a really strong foundation in dog handling, training, and patience. Beyond that, I have experience dog and house sitting for friends and neighbors, including walking, feeding, bathing, playing with, and caring for their pets. What also sets me apart is that I have now worked with sled dogs for the past two winters, including at Denali National Park. That experience has made me very comfortable handling high-energy dogs, sticking to routines, reading animal behavior, and providing attentive care in all kinds of conditions. I am confident working with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, exercised, and well cared for. I currently work an 8-4 in near the university so if you are in town I can let pets out during the day! After and before work I love to be active taking pets on runs and walks in the morning and evenings! I care for pets with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and their individual needs. I always use leashes in public spaces unless otherwise directed, and I stay very aware of other dogs, cars, people, and anything else that could become a hazard. I keep a calm, attentive demeanor around animals and try to make them feel secure and comfortable. In a client’s home, I would be respectful of their routines, rules, and space, and I am happy to adjust walks, playtime, and care based on each pet’s age, energy level, and personality.

About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. I have owned cats my whole life, but dogs have always been a constant in my life as well through these dog sitting experiences and briefly fostering a chihuahua who eventually went to a family friend. I would be so delighted to take care of your dog or cat! Whether that be for walks, check-ins or house sitting, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend my time with your pets. Their happiness and safety will always come first! I am currently a student at WSU, but I have a flexible schedule to take care of your furbabies. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I promise to always keep a close eye on your animals and monitor them on their behavior, and eating or drinking patterns to make sure nothing is out of the normal for your furbaby. I will always set a side a, if not multiple, chunks of time to ensure they are enriched with playtime. Please also let me know your pet's quirks, triggers, and/or medications that they might have or need, so I can be well equipped while they are in my care.

About: I have been taking care of dogs my whole life! I have experience working at a doggy daycare where I cared for dogs of all different sizes, energy levels, temperaments, and special care needs. Since then, I’ve regularly cared for pets for friends, family, and military coworkers. I am comfortable working with puppies, senior dogs, high energy breeds, and dogs that need a little extra patience. I have experience administering medications, following feeding schedules, and making sure every dogs gets plenty of exercise and attention. I also have experience looking after cats, hamsters, gerbils, and rats. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions to make sure every pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am currently a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule and plenty of free time! Your fur baby will receive plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks! I can stick to your dogs normal routine and of course provide updates and photos throughout their stay. Whether your pet is energetic or prefers a more relaxed environment, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Nothing is more important to me than your pets safety and happiness. I have a fully fenced in backyard for safe playtime, and two friendly, well socialized dogs who love making new friends! I always supervise introductions, closely monitor playtime, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I’ll follow your pets feeding schedule, and medication instructions, and of course any special care instructions to ensure they feel right at home! I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family!

About: This is a quiet home on 5 wooded acres located near Classic Road. I have a fully fenced paddock for potty breaks, playtime and sniffing. I have a labrador of my own so there is a playmate for my guest dogs. I treat your dog like I treat mine- so basically they are spoiled! I work from home and make my own schedule which allows me to accommodate a variety of doggie needs. They are my priority and my passion. Drop offs and pick ups should fall between the hours of 8am and 6:45pm I'm able to care for senior dogs as well as those who have not been altered and are used for breeding purposes. Special needs OK. I avoid dogs on the dangerous breed list for insurance reasons.

About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry (and feathered) family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

About: Grew up with dogs, always gravitate to them. Volunteered at a rescue shelter for years. Recently landed on Whidbey Island and looking to help out the local pups in need of some care! Very flexible schedule. Moved to Whidbey Island without many commitments to start so I have plenty of time to commit to walks and doggo care. Each dog and owner have different histories, tendencies and needs. It’s important to build trust and rapport with a dog in order to best serve a dog while the owner is away. About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. If you are near a hiking trail I would be happy to provide a hike with your dog(s) if that is ok with you. More details to be discussed at meet and greet or before service is provided.

About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. I will make sure all doors are completely shut before leaving those sneaky dogs alone!

About: I’ve dog and cat sit around the Island Country area for about a year. I’m very good with animals and keeping you updated on how things are going around the house while you’re away. :) I work during the day so I have evenings and mornings free to come check in, feed and play with your pets. Typically I am more free on the weekdays. We can talk more about boarding if needed.
