I’m very good with animals and keeping you updated on how things are going around the house while you’re away. :) I work during the day so I have evenings and mornings free to come check in, feed and play with your pets. About: I have loved animals my whole life and have several years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs. I spent 6 years training and competing in 4-H with my Yorkie, Milly, and we competed at the state level multiple times, which gave me a really strong foundation in dog handling, training, and patience. Beyond that, I have experience dog and house sitting for friends and neighbors, including walking, feeding, bathing, playing with, and caring for their pets. What also sets me apart is that I have now worked with sled dogs for the past two winters, including at Denali National Park. That experience has made me very comfortable handling high-energy dogs, sticking to routines, reading animal behavior, and providing attentive care in all kinds of conditions. I am confident working with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, exercised, and well cared for. I currently work an 8-4 in near the university so if you are in town I can let pets out during the day! After and before work I love to be active taking pets on runs and walks in the morning and evenings! I care for pets with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and their individual needs. I always use leashes in public spaces unless otherwise directed, and I stay very aware of other dogs, cars, people, and anything else that could become a hazard. I keep a calm, attentive demeanor around animals and try to make them feel secure and comfortable. In a client’s home, I would be respectful of their routines, rules, and space, and I am happy to adjust walks, playtime, and care based on each pet’s age, energy level, and personality.

About: Grew up with dogs, always gravitate to them. Volunteered at a rescue shelter for years. Recently landed on Whidbey Island and looking to help out the local pups in need of some care! Very flexible schedule. Moved to Whidbey Island without many commitments to start so I have plenty of time to commit to walks and doggo care. Each dog and owner have different histories, tendencies and needs. It’s important to build trust and rapport with a dog in order to best serve a dog while the owner is away. About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry (and feathered) family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. About: I have been blessed to have a life surrounded by family and friend dogs and cats. I love all furry friends! I have attached pictures of some of the ones surrounding my life today. She was highly professional and intuitive with our very private Irish Wolfhound puppy, Aoife. Aoife had a great time. She didn't seem to notice we were gone until we returned, which was just awesome, as we felt very guilty when we left her in a strange place. I would trust Brandi with any living creature. I know she will be moving on to a rewarding career, but if she's still sitting/walking the next time we're in that area, we will definitely try to book her again!”

About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs! My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them. I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! I will be wearing a mask when dog walking or sitting and will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19I am a student at Seattle University and all classes are online so I am free whenever you need a sitter or a walker :) Please let me know if you have any questions. About: I owned three large dogs from 1978 to 2014. I had an Australian shepherd from 1978 to 1996. A black lab from 1984 to 1999. An aussie from 1997 to 2002. A black lab from 2000 to 2014 and and aussie from 2007 to 2014. I moved from Ohio to Seattle in 2014. I found homes for my dogs when I moved here. I have had 3-5 horses since 1978 and still own one. Very comfortable with both dogs and horses. I am retired so I am very flexible to stay at your house and take care of dogs and feed and clean stalls for the horses. I am adding people to give me references. I have been dog sitting for 50 years. I enjoy house sitting with dogs and nake sure they are loved.
