“Our dogs love staying at Rachael’s! They are super tired from all their play when we pick them up. Rachael keeps me updated and sends pictures. We will keep bringing our pups!”

“I hesitate to leave a review as I am selfish and always want April to be available for my pups home away from home, but wanted to support her!! April takes great care of my fur baby and always has another fun pup for mine to play with, which is a big hit! Thank you April!!”

“Jenny was amazing with our Ellie! She sent me photos and messages about how Ellie was doing and what they did every day. I felt completely confident that Ellie was being well cared for while we were out of town. Jenny was always quick to reply to messages and a very kind hearted person. I will definitely request Jenny again and recommend her to all of our friends and family.”

“My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

“I was a last minute booking and Chelsea made it happen! My cat was a little stressed from the transition into a new space, but Chelsea was patient and updated me with photos. Would book again!”

“Teri was so nice and clearly a dog person, which immediately made us feel comfortable leaving our dog with her. She sent plenty of pictures and updates and was kind enough to help pick our dog up when we were out of the country. We’d absolutely trust her with our dog again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and leaving our dog with someone besides family and friends. Marlene sent me pictures of our baby everyday and answered any questions I had. Lyla looked like she was having a blast so we already rebooked her with Marlene for the next upcoming trips.”

“The girls had a great time with Elana! We got periodic photo updates during their stay which was a sweet touch. They also came back ready for a nap so I'm sure they got some good walks.”

“My older one hesitant and one with separation anxiety, did well with Sherri. It was 4th of July and the fireworks made every one nervous. She was good about sending messages and photos of the girls to me every day. We where happy and will use her services again. ”

“Conor took great care of our puppy. He regularly updated us with photos and videos that kept us close to our baby. He was kind and very responsive to our messages. I would highly recommend him to anyone.:)”

“We couldn’t ask for better care for Coco while we are gone! From the many videos to excellent communication - we know Coco is in great hands ❤️❤️❤️ We highly recommend Sheri and Bill❤️❤️”

“Lucy had such a great time at Mary’s - she has a lot of experience with dogs, & has the most perfect fenced backyard & environment too with tons of toys ;-) She was super easy to book/communicate with, & I will definitely be contacting her again for care. Thanks so much again Mary- I’m so glad I found you! :-)”

“Rosa is fantastic! She is very thoughtful and caring—she sent photos and videos every day, so I could see that my dog was having a great time. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in her care. I would definitely recommend Rosa to anyone looking for a loving and responsible dog sitter!”

“Angela was SO amazing. She was referred to me by my neighbor and did NOT disappoint. She was quick to reply to any and all messages and was super friendly and accommodating. She was picking up my neighbors dogs the same day and offered to pick mine up to which saved me so much time! She was great about updating me on my pup while we were out of town and even took initiative and gave him a bath when he seemed to be a little itchy. 10/10 recommend and will be booking her in the future! Thank you so much Angela and family! Ripley had the best time!”

“Elizabeth is a gift to the dog-loving world! Before we locked down our booking, she met us at a local dog park with her dog. We got to know each other and the dogs got to know one another as well. It was a really nice thing to do. Our dog's stay with Elizabeth was a doggy dream. Our pup went on daily walks, played outside with children and got lots of scratches behind the ears. We received pictures along the way, so we could enjoy the ride. We are so grateful to have found Elizabeth and we can't wait to go back!”

“A wonderful pet sitter! Very communicative and warm. She was able to accommodate our last minute request, sent us updates and photos of our doggy while we were away, which was very reassuring, and she was flexible and understanding when our ferry delayed our pickup time by almost an hour. We would recommend her and be happy to have her care for our pup again in the future.”

“Kristen and Brian are the best! They showered our baby with so much love and affection, we don't think our baby missed us at all! They kept sending us pictures throughout. Fed her well and she got a lot of playtime with their fur baby as well!!! 100% will go back to them.”

“We could not have found a better person to trust our pup with! Teri has thought of everything to ensure a safe, comfortable and fun stay for the dogs she cares for. This was the first time boarding our rescue dog, and she can’t wait to go back! Lots of pictures and updates to put your mind at ease.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
