As a large, energetic breed, German Shepherds can be a handful, but Rachel handles her with such confidence, care, and expertise. Bella always comes home happy, tired from plenty of play and walks, and clearly well-loved. Rachel is incredibly responsive—messages are answered quickly, and she keeps us updated every step of the way. The daily photo and video updates are a game-changer, showing Bella playing in the yard, cuddling, or just relaxing like she’s at home. She follows all our instructions perfectly (including feeding and exercise routines) and is super flexible; when our flights have been delayed or even canceled, she’s happily accommodated the changes without hesitation. About: I have loved animals my whole life and have several years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs. I spent 6 years training and competing in 4-H with my Yorkie, Milly, and we competed at the state level multiple times, which gave me a really strong foundation in dog handling, training, and patience. Beyond that, I have experience dog and house sitting for friends and neighbors, including walking, feeding, bathing, playing with, and caring for their pets. What also sets me apart is that I have now worked with sled dogs for the past two winters, including at Denali National Park. I had my last cat for 16 years, so I’m well aware of the full life cycle, kitten to senior and how different those stages may be. Now that I’m retired, I have something a busy pet sitter often can’t offer: **unhurried time** and can swish a cat toy with the best of them. I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. About: I have been blessed to have a life surrounded by family and friend dogs and cats. I love all furry friends! I have attached pictures of some of the ones surrounding my life today. I also love learning of animal behavior to improve how we can communicate. I take their comfort very seriously, animals deserve respect! :) My current work is flexible and I will try my best to see your buddy when our schedules work. My weekends are flexible as well! About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk
About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs! My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them. I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! I will be wearing a mask when dog walking or sitting and will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19I am a student at Seattle University and all classes are online so I am free whenever you need a sitter or a walker :) Please let me know if you have any questions. Any time, currently I am unemployed and am taking classes online, so as long as I get a heads up I will be able to do whatever you need! I have a fenced place in a family and pet friendly neighborhood. I will figure out what else can be dog-proofed and to make sure that they is nothing they can get into.

“I was so pleased to discover this option for boarding our dogs. When we met Christel before our stay I could tell she loves dogs and she’s good with them. I left feeling totally comfortable with them staying with Christel and her family for a long weekend. My dogs are big Great Pyrenees and Christel took them for walks and handled everything. She even set-up and took-down the huge sleeping crates we brought. During the trip Christel sent so many pictures and updates. My dogs were always smiling and playing and I could tell she loved having them. It felt like my doggies were at a sleep-away camp, they had so much fun! All throughout she was so easy to work with and flexible. Christel gave my dogs so much personal attention that I think they came back better trained than when I left them! My dogs had an amazing time in a big backyard where they played with their sweet resident dog and were loved by a family. It was perfect.”
“Karissa helped me out in a pinch when I realized I had a long evening ahead and needed care for my 9 mo old puppy. She has a great set up for her pack of dogs, and the ones she sits. My dog is nervous about new dogs at first, and barks for the first few, but she assured me that was no problem, and she eased him in. Within 20 minutes she sent pictures of him getting acquainted with a smile on his face. I felt at ease for my evening plans, and picked up a happy (and tired) pup. Will book again knowing my pup is in good hands for some pack play.”
