“I highly recommend Rachael!! She did amazing with my high energy, 1.5 year old, 60lb puppy! She sent many photos of him looking very happy playing with all the other dogs. She even did some leash training with him as well (with my request/permission)! I left with some helpful tips and pointers on how to better walk him. Also, she always responded immediately every time I had a question. Thank you Rachael!”

“As always, Sheri & Bill are a great comfort. Roscoe recognizes when we pull into their driveway and is happy when we see him run right up to their front door!”

“Craig was a fantastic dog sitter for our lively 8 yr old Corgi. Communication was quick, he sent us plenty of photos and overall a 10/10 experience. Will definitely use Craig again.”

“Teri was so nice and clearly a dog person, which immediately made us feel comfortable leaving our dog with her. She sent plenty of pictures and updates and was kind enough to help pick our dog up when we were out of the country. We’d absolutely trust her with our dog again!”

“Derek loves his home away from home! He had another amazing stay with Julie and her family. They go above and beyond caring for him and even took him swimming! Thank you so much for all the tender loving care! He will miss you guys! ❤️”

“He spoiled our boy! He took him walking daily. We got pictures of him walking and playing with other dogs. He brushed him. We felt our boy was loved and pampered. We would 100% recommend David.”
“We are so grateful that our precious boxer Lulu was able to stay with Monica while we were on vacation! She was given care, attention, surroundings, and activities that were not only far better than any kennel could give, but probably better than we manage to provide ourselves. And Monica sent wonderful daily notes and pictures of all the fun we were missing. We have promised Lulu that we'll work harder to please her, so that maybe she won't miss Monica so much!”

“Our dog was well cared for and had fun while we were away. Brit made everything easy for us and helped make us feel comfortable leaving our dog for the first time. We will happily reach out again the next time it’s needed.”

“Aarika was absolutely amazing!! She was flexible and communicative through our entire last-minute planning process. She sent daily progress updates and photos of our sweet boy smiling and having so much fun (and getting lots of pats, which he loves!!) We will absolutely be booking with Aarika again! :)”

“Jenny was wonderful as always. I requested for Jenny's help so I could take my son out of town for his birthday. I have asked Jenny for help multiple times now with my dog and she always provides 6 out of 5 star service (that is not a typo). Muchas gracias Jenny :)”

“Communicating and scheduling with Art was very easy. He is very responsive and accommodating. Art is conscientious about matching the dog with a good environment, which made us feel good about leaving our dog with him. He really cares. Our dog seemed to have a good time. After a trial period, we took her back for the real stay and she was wagging her tail and seemed to be excited to run up to his front door. We definitely recommend Art!”

“Kevin has a other great day with Linda. Kevin had lots of fun going on walks and taking naps. Kevin stayed a little later today which coincidentally was at the start of the storm. Linda played music for Kevin to keep him calm, which was very thoughtful. Linda also gave us a new client card and gift, which was so kind. Thank you Linda! ☺️”

“Peaches had THE BEST time with Jill and Aaron. Jill was highly communicative, shared stellar photos of my beauty, and Aaron even carried Peaches a few blocks after she decided she isn’t a fan of freezing rain. Thank you both!”

“This was our first time to board our dog with Mary and we couldn't be more happier. Mary was very responsive and took such a good care of our boy. We feel like our dog had planty of play time and a lot of love and pampering. Mary is someone that genuinely loves dogs. We and our dog were very happy!”

“Darin took amazing care of our pup! This was our first sitter experience outside friends and family and it couldn't have gone better- he always responded quickly to messages, provided great updates throughout our booking, and our pup came home happy and tired after a ton of fun and attention from Darin + family. We look forward to booking with Darin again in the future!”

“Nancy and Simon (her adorable pup) are the perfect hosts! Nancy took the best care of our older Annabelle and was so great about updates and pics. I would highly recommend Nancy! So happy that we found you! Thanks again, Diane P”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
