I’ve had cats, rabbits, and small animals all my life. I’ve taken care of friends and family’s animals (cats, dogs, birds) for 16 years. I have experience with senior animals, animals recovering from surgery, and animals taking medications. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your animal in the care of someone else. I strive to provide care and enrichment while you’re away.

Every animal reacts differently to new people. If some take time to warm up or prefer distance, I respect that. If some want to be loved on and need extra attention, I’m here for that too! My top priority is making sure your pet feels safe and cared for.

Sara helped me out last minute when I realized I needed support for a long day away. She was communicative and sent pictures while she was there my dog. I am extremely grateful she was available and willing to help and all went very smoothly.
Sara has been lovingly taking care of our two cats for nearly 14 years. As somebody that doesn’t have a village to entrust with our cat care while out of town(often for weeks at a time) Sara has become our go to pet sitter. She is great with any special instructions or medications that are needed, always makes sure to send cute pics, and always communicates how visits are going. I absolutely recommend her.
Sara has watched Quincey, my green check conure, several times while I’ve been on vacation, and I can’t say enough about her conscientious care and gentleness. Quincey is particular—she doesn’t like most new people, and she’s pretty high-maintenance. But she warmed up to Sara almost right away. I always felt confident that Quincey was in good hands whenever she was with Sara.

Schedule
I’m not currently working, so I have a very flexible schedule. I can take requests on short notice and can provide longer play sessions for those that need it.
