“Allison is a wonderful dog walker who takes fantastic care of Hobbes and always leaves him happy and energized after every walk. She is always reliable, punctual, and easy to coordinate with, making the entire process seamless. Hobbes clearly looks forward to her visits, genuinely enjoys his time out with her, and we love knowing he is in such attentive and caring hands.”

“Bethany was wonderful with my 4 toy dogs, 2 Chihuahuas & 2 Shih Tzu! She was kind and patient w/them, and helped me out tremendously after surgery by getting them out of the house and exercised. I'd recommend her to anyone - especially if you're in the Mukilteo area. Anytime I need a house & dog-sitter she's high on my list! Very experienced and trustworthy.”

“Thank you very much, Taco and I are newly adopted. I’m glad he got along with Chelsea. She was very friendly and got along well with Taco. He’s been marking his territory and letting other animals his presence. Everything new to him. THANK YOU!”

“Penny has been walking our dog Meatloaf for years. She is extremely reliable and has excellent communication. She always gives as much notice as possible of cancellations, and she always has the pets best interest in mind during times of extreme weather. I completely trust Penny to keep my dog safe as well as always being observant of his habits and behavior. It just shines through her messages how much she loves our Meatloaf as much as we do. 🩷”

“Brandon has been with Kara for now for over a week, and things are going great. She can be aggressive in the beginning, but he has charmed her heart. He is consistent with the times that were requested and she does a great job with him. Thank you very much Brandon for being a part of our lives”

About: I have been caring for people and animals all of my life. I have worked with in home care, as a nanny, and volunteered at animal shelters. I am the purfect candidate to help you and your furry friends! I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to walk the dog, make house visits, or hold down the fort while you’re out for the weekend. Until now I was just doing pet care for family and friends, but I’ve enjoyed it so much that I decided to offer my services on Rover.
About: My beloved german pointer dog passed away 3 years ago so I do find myself missing caring for a dog. I would love to care for and walk dogs to be a helpful neighbor. I am available most days of the week, preferred days are Monday - Friday between 10 AM to 7 PM. I will certainly consider requests for days and times outside of this. I am a registered nurse by trade and a stay at home mother at the moment. My hope is to be a helpful neighbor and care for and walk dogs.
About: I love playing with dogs and always taking good care of them, making sure they are safe and happy. Most of my clients become returning clients and are very relieved to leave their dog with me. I am glad my clients trust me and are happy to bring their dogs over again and again. I'm a stay-home mom, and I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. My schedule is flexible, I do boarding on regular days and holidays. I normally walk dogs at least 4 times a day, sometimes even more, depending on the needs of your dog. I have a fenced yard for your furry kid to enjoy being outside. My house is clean and safe for your pet. We are a non-smoking family. My husband and I are constantly at home, so your furry kid will have plenty of attention and company. Your furry kid is free to walk around our house, except for the bedrooms. We do not keep your pet caged or in a limited-access area. Our house floor is mainly wooden floors, which are easy to clean. Therefore, your pet is more than welcome to walk around the house and have fun. I know pets are anxious about a new environment. For that, you can count on me. We always provide a warm, welcoming environment, and we will comfort your pet to make them feel accompanied.
“Michelle was very responsive and helped our anxious dog on the 4th of July, a big day for scared doggos!! She kept us updated and really went above and beyond with closing windows & blinds, feeding the dog, etc, which was particularly valuable as our flights home were delayed! I would highly recommend Michelle, she made the process very easy and I was continuously reassured!”

“Adam is fantastic! He's reliable and a quick to respond to messages and requests. He quickly learned my dog's favorite spots in the neighborhood and let's him watch his squirrel friends. He provides reports and pictures. After a long walk with Adam, my dog is ready to nap until I get home from work. Totally recommend Adam!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and pets for 30 years. I have fostered and adopted all kinds of dogs. I’m happy to help take care of our little buddies! I’m currently looking for work and specifically remote work. I am generally happy to be home with my dog and/or take her with me wherever I go. I have a fenced patio area in a semi wooded area. Dog friendly neighborhood and peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Not ever gone for more than 5 hours.
About: 2026 update. My lap is nearly always occupied by an 11 year old black cat named Darth Vader. He is bold and social with people, cats, and dogs. Then theres our oldest, Mimi, a 13 year old black cat who is much more timid. Thumbs, our polydactyl calico floof is 6 years old now. Thumbs also hides out often. Both girls have come out of their hidden spots once used to guests. I’ve been around animals as long as I can remember. For many years I had large dogs, pitbulls and mixes. Most of my pets have started off as rescues, but all became loved family members. Our dogs have all crossed the rainbow bridge, but that didn’t remove my talent, passion and care with canines. I currently work part time in Mukilteo. My profession will take priority for roughly 6 hours a week. I do not work overtime, nor on weekends. This seems like a strange question. I care for my pets by feeding them, making sure they have water, cuddling and loving them, walks, and sometimes just naps together.
“We had Cameron walk our boys twice a week for a few months and would highly recommend him! He was really easy to communicate with, was always on time and our dogs loved him. Would not hesitate to hire him again.”

About: Hi! I’m a 28-year-old animal lover who has grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I’m patient, attentive, and happy to work with all types of dogs. I live an active lifestyle, so whether your pup loves walks, runs, trips to the park or beach, or simply cuddling at home, I’m happy to match their pace. 🐶❤️ I’m responsible, dependable, timely, and flexible with my schedule. Most importantly, I’ll treat your furry family member like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away! I’d love to meet you and your pup! 🐾 Thanks for considering me!

“Jennifer is the best. She is very personable and professional. At our meet and greet our pup took to her right away. She answered all our questions, and wanted to know all she could about our dog. She now walks our dog several times a week and has just been wonderful. I highly recommend her.”

Michelle has taken care of our Golden Retriever since he was a puppy and now he’s 1! I trust no one the way I trust Michelle. She makes sure she sets the alarm, locks the door and is very mindful of our 3 skittish cats when it comes to opening the doors. She’s extremely reliable and simply the best!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
