“Chelsea was a great help while I was away; my normally shy cat took to her immediately which provided a great amount of peace on mind on my end. She was great about sending updates and pictures too. Overall I am very satisfied with her work and would book her again :)”

“Michelle took very care of my best friend. She always cleaned up and did the little things to best care for my cat while I was away. Would definitely recommend her to watch over your pet.”

“Cedric did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. He spent the time to engage Nimbus in his favorite play activities even though he can be a little shy at first. I'd be happy to have Cedric back for drop-in care next time I'm traveling.”

About: Ever aince I got my dog Oscar when I was 12, I have been completely obsessed with dogs! I did the majority of his training and care when he was a puppy, and he became fully house trained, leash trained, and learned lots of fun tricks! Since then, I have cared for countless dogs all over California and Washington in the form of drop-in house visits, walks, going on runs, and overnight house-sitting visits. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, and I can’t wait to meet yours! I’m currently working from home/on contract, so I have lots of availability! I am available for drop-in visits and walks all hours of the day and overnight stays as needed. I am currently in an small apartment that doesn’t allow pets, so unfortunately I would only be able to care for pets in clients’ homes
“This was my 1st time using Rover and Penny was a wonderful representative of the company values. She is prompt, professional and caring. She loves what she does and it shows, as she treated my senior basset Simon like her own which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Detailed notes, and great photos, some I am even going to frame! She is a great business person and I will definitely be booking her in the future and have already been telling my friends and family about the amazing experience I had with Rover! Thank you, Nadine”

“Nathan did a great job caring for our special needs dog. He was careful to follow instructions and was very communicative. We will not hesitate to use Nathan for services in the future.”

“Heather was a huge help for my last minute drop-in visit needs. She’s responsive, attentive and has a positive attitude. Very grateful for help with my two husky buddies. I’ll definitely be contacting her again for help in the future!”

“Amanda was fantastic! She was incredibly kind and her communication was great. And, our grumpy cat liked her, which never happens. Will definitely book with Amanda again.”

About: I've been around dogs for most of my life. I've had from a little tiny Mini Poodle to large dogs a Presa Canario German-Sheppard mix. I'm well verse with commands and training with treats. I at the moment can't have a dog where I live and I miss being around them, so I figured this will be a good way to visit with dogs without taking one home...hence "Fur Auntie!" I love all kinds of dogs, I do best with medium to large dogs because that's been the most recent years of experience. I'm not afraid of any breed, I had Sandi (Presa) and Lolah (Pitbull) my two large dogs. I've frequently dog sat for my friends several times in the last 10 years. At the time I had my dogs and boarded them at my house. I'm single and don't have kids so I'll have time for your fur baby!! I'll spend time with them if you don't have the time so they don't get lonely and keep them out of trouble....I'm very patient and I will take them time to make sure your fur baby has fun while we walk or visit. I'd love to meet you and your special fur family. This helps me too because I love dogs, I have 3 days off a week, this will keep me busy and help you out too, we both win! Please message me I'd love to walk and visit with you puppy.
About: I love playing with dogs and always taking good care of them, making sure they are safe and happy. Most of my clients become returning clients and are very relieved to leave their dog with me. I am glad my clients trust me and are happy to bring their dogs over again and again. I'm a stay-home mom, and I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. My schedule is flexible, I do boarding on regular days and holidays. I normally walk dogs at least 4 times a day, sometimes even more, depending on the needs of your dog. I have a fenced yard for your furry kid to enjoy being outside. My house is clean and safe for your pet. We are a non-smoking family. My husband and I are constantly at home, so your furry kid will have plenty of attention and company. Your furry kid is free to walk around our house, except for the bedrooms. We do not keep your pet caged or in a limited-access area. Our house floor is mainly wooden floors, which are easy to clean. Therefore, your pet is more than welcome to walk around the house and have fun. I know pets are anxious about a new environment. For that, you can count on me. We always provide a warm, welcoming environment, and we will comfort your pet to make them feel accompanied.
“My boyfriend and my work schedule is super sporadic and random. Oftentimes we need to message Jodie same day. She is ALWAYS so responsive and consistent in getting back to us. She really saves us on busy days. She also is amazing with our dog, Lincoln. I would recommend her to anyone in the Snohomish county area”

About: I am an animal lover of all kinds (except snakes 😅) I have had farm animals and dogs and cats of all kinds. I have years of nanny experience as well. currently, I own a hoard of goats as well as a three-year-old English bulldog. The goats live at an offsite farm. It's just my twin sister and I and Ludacris. He does have the availability to go stay at my mom's overnight if we ever watch dogs that would prefer some more space. my sister and I work from home full-time and have extremely flexible schedules. Your pet would never be home alone for too long. and would never have to go too long without a potty break. My back yard is fenced in. I let my dog in all rooms and on all furniture. We kiss our animals on the face and talk to them like humans. We are definitely the crazy animal ladies. The first trick we taught our goat was Kiss. your animal will be snuggled and loved on the entire time you are gone.
“Bethany was reliable, extremely thoughtful, communicative, community oriented, and a true animal lover. Would recommend and use her again. She sent photos and text when coming and going. Went out her way to get me back the key I'd loaned her for the house. I met her pets too and she is really an animal lover. She is a very young grandmother herself and uses rover to get some extra pet loving time in. Great with cats and dogs although she personally watched my cat for a number of days. Due to a snowstorm she wasn't able to come part of the time and she went out of her way to contact rover and get me a refund.”

“Anton was super dependable. He provided drop in visits for my cat and was a great communicator. I appreciated his promptness and my cat was happy and well cared for when I returned. Would recommend.”

We have a huge fenced yard to play in all day while I am home on Monday's and Friday’s as well as weekends ! We also have lots of toys and thinking games to keep your pup busy and happy ! I work from home often and can attended to your dogs needs 24/7 . I can take them Potty at any given time and can play every hour ! I have a large fenced yard and never let my dog out of my sight. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mukilteo
Penny has been the best Cat Sitter that we’ve ever had. She did everything that we asked of her and even more and she sent us reports and pictures after every visit with our boys. I will be sure to tell our acquaintances about Penny and when we need another Cat Sitter it will be Penny and hopefully she’ll be available.😊 as far as a tip goes we don’t do it through Rover. We like to hand deliberate to our sitters.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
