“Chelsea is very good with cats. We have a very shy kitty who typically hides under the bed when newcomers arrive and won’t come out until they leave. Chelsea spends time to play on her visits and our shy little guy is now coming around to her. This is a first and we’re very impressed! Chelsea also leaves detailed updates of her visit and cleans the cat litter, which we greatly appreciate!”

“Allie was so great with my two cats! She’s super reliable, caring, and you can tell she genuinely loves animals. She kept me updated while I was away and I felt totally comfortable knowing they were being well taken care of. I’d definitely recommend Allie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!”

“Penny did an amazing job watching my two kitties over a 10 day period. She was highly communicative and took cute photos of the kitties during her visits. I would highly recommend her and will rebook for future trips!”

“Nathan did a great job caring for our special needs dog. He was careful to follow instructions and was very communicative. We will not hesitate to use Nathan for services in the future.”

About: Reliability!! I dog sat for many families back in Florida while earning my bachelors/masters. While I don’t have a dog of my own I will treat yours like my own. I work Monday-Friday so I would be able to check-in/walk dogs in the evening. Most of my weekends are free so I would love to fill my time by spending it with pets! I will not be able to care for pets in my own home. However, I have dog sat for several families in their own home.
“This was Cedric's second time sitting for us and already my spicy/shy girl has taken to him. Cedric is reliable, kind, and dependable. I forgot to remind him to leave our key fob, but he remembered the drill! I definitely recommend Cedric if you are looking for a fantastic pet sitter.”

“My boyfriend and my work schedule is super sporadic and random. Oftentimes we need to message Jodie same day. She is ALWAYS so responsive and consistent in getting back to us. She really saves us on busy days. She also is amazing with our dog, Lincoln. I would recommend her to anyone in the Snohomish county area”

About: https://www.rover.com/sit/shushp79746 Use the code above for all new Rover pet parents to receive $20 off your first booking with me! I have a heart for all dogs and am excited at the opportunity to help out in the community and provide a home for your dog when needed! I have personally experienced the need to have last minute pet care and know first hand how hard it is to find someone you trust to watch your fur-baby. I have a flexible schedule, a nice comfortable home, and a family who loves animals. I'm able to take your dog on walks around the neighborhood, play fetch, provide the care that you want, and give lots of love and pets when wanted. I'm currently working full time, with work from home benefits and a flexible schedule! I am able to take your dog outside whenever they need. I have a 2100 sq ft home with pet friendly spaces downstairs. I have a fenced in back yard, and easy and safe neighborhood to walk your dog with lots of grass.
About: My beloved german pointer dog passed away 3 years ago so I do find myself missing caring for a dog. I would love to care for and walk dogs to be a helpful neighbor. I am available most days of the week, preferred days are Monday - Friday between 10 AM to 7 PM. I will certainly consider requests for days and times outside of this. I am a registered nurse by trade and a stay at home mother at the moment. My hope is to be a helpful neighbor and care for and walk dogs.
“Kevin was an amazing petsitter again! He was again very easy to coordinate + communicate with! This sit included multiple hours of cat sitting and administering insulin injections into my diabetic cat. He also handled all litterboxes, taking out the trash multiple times, wet food that required instructions, probiotics, and other medications for two cats. He provided nice writeups after each sit and worked around my travel schedule. Would recommend him to others in the area!”

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I've cared for a wide range of dog breeds - including Pugs, Labs, Pitbulls, and Akitas — handling everything from energetic pups to gentle seniors. I'm also a devoted cat parent to three cats of my own, comfortable with all aspects of cat care, from feeding and litter box routines to playtime and companionship. My experience volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter has given me even more exposure to animals of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. I live near trails and parks in Everett, great for dog walks and outdoor time. Whether your pet is a high-energy dog or an independent cat, I treat every animal with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own. Since I run my own travel advisory business, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make pet care a real priority — not just something squeezed in around a 9-to-5. I'm able to offer consistent availability throughout the day for walks, feedings, and check-ins, and I'm not tied to rigid office hours, so last-minute requests or extended care are rarely a problem. Caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine, whether that means a midday walk, spending quality time with a cat throughout the afternoon, or being available for early mornings and evenings. Your pet will get attentive, unhurried care from someone who genuinely has the time and flexibility to give them what they need. All of my pet care takes place in your home, where your pet feels most comfortable and secure. For walks, I focus on making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and fresh water along the way, keeping the experience enjoyable and stress-free for them. For pet sitting visits, I handle all the essentials - feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box or yard cleanup, and administering medication if needed. I also make sure to give your pet plenty of attention and companionship during each visit, and I'm happy to send updates so you can feel at ease while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, whether it's a quick walk or an extended sitting visit.

“We are just a couple weeks in with our new puppy and all the stress that goes with that. One thing I don't have to stress about her being in the kennels all day while I am at work. Brendan is earning Bella’s trust while he visits with her and lets her get some energy out while we are at work. It helps with her development and I am so thankful.”

About: I love playing with dogs and always taking good care of them, making sure they are safe and happy. Most of my clients become returning clients and are very relieved to leave their dog with me. I am glad my clients trust me and are happy to bring their dogs over again and again. I'm a stay-home mom, and I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. My schedule is flexible, I do boarding on regular days and holidays. I normally walk dogs at least 4 times a day, sometimes even more, depending on the needs of your dog. I have a fenced yard for your furry kid to enjoy being outside. My house is clean and safe for your pet. We are a non-smoking family. My husband and I are constantly at home, so your furry kid will have plenty of attention and company. Your furry kid is free to walk around our house, except for the bedrooms. We do not keep your pet caged or in a limited-access area. Our house floor is mainly wooden floors, which are easy to clean. Therefore, your pet is more than welcome to walk around the house and have fun. I know pets are anxious about a new environment. For that, you can count on me. We always provide a warm, welcoming environment, and we will comfort your pet to make them feel accompanied.
About: I’m a reliable and dependable caregiver with a long background in animal care such as: daycare/boarding, rescuing/fostering and over 4 years of veterinary medicine. Currently I am a full time veterinary assistant. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages from puppies to seniors and those with special needs. I can also administer medications when needed. I’m attentive, experienced with all types of pets, and committed to keeping your pet safe and happy! I’m available Sunday-Tuesday for both walks and drop in visits. I’m free pretty much all day to check in and play with your fur babies! Safety is my number one priority. I always open doors slowly and cautiously as to ensure no one tries to sneak past. I double check collars/harnesses/leashes before every walk. I follow care instructions carefully to ensure both mine and the pets safety.
“Bethany took excellent care of our two cats while we were out of town for the holidays. She was sweet and caring and provided helpful updates regarding the kitties. I would book Bethany again.”

“Wendy was wonderful checking in on our pup and kitty 3x/day for 5 days! Our dog has some anxiety and she helped keep her calm and give her the meds we have. She even did the dishes leftover in the sink:) would use again!”
“Kory has been great in caring for my 2 boys on my work days. He even came last minute when I was making it late home. I always get the cutest pictures and detailed updates of how they are doing during their walks and feel assured they are in good hands on my long work days away. I continue to book with Kory and would definitely recommend to others!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mukilteo
Penny is absolutely amazing! I booked her last minute on a holiday weekend no less and she made herself available. She sent me so many pictures, brought in my packages, and even fixed my cats auto litter box. My cat absolutely adored her so will book her again for sure! 10/10 recommend!

Heather is such a great cat sitter! Somehow she always turns my chaotic cat into a ball of purrs when she arrives, and goes above and beyond taking care of small unexpected tasks (like sweeping cat litter and throwing away the moldy bread I accidentally left out!). She's been my go-to sitter for over a year and I'm never worried anymore about leaving my cat when I travel!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
