About: I love all animals in general, I grew up taking care of dogs, rabbits, fish, birds, and turtles and have helped my roomies with their pets. I've volunteered at the Humane Society in Pasadena, CA and I have boarded dogs before. Now that I live alone and don't have pets I am trying out Rover to be able to make new furry friends, did I mention I have a backyard? I'm super detail oriented and will go above and beyond to take care of your high-needs pet. Also, I am big on cleanliness so let me know if your dog needs a bath and I'd be happy to help with that. Austin was fantastic from the start and really did a great job taking care of our dog. Our beagle stayed with Austin for 1 night and he was super attentive, listened, and made her feel at home. We were looking for a sitter that more matched our home environment to make her comfortable, versus a kennel. Austin came through on that and our beagle was super comfortable! Austin was very responsive in communications and sent updates during her stay, which we appreciated! Would book Austin again as he treated Roxy very well.
I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!

He accommodated our slightly challenging travel schedule that made drop off later than we anticipated, which was very much appreciated! If we’re in the area we would have our dog stay with him again!
Amber is my favorite sitter for Lucy and Cappie! They absolutely adore her and get very excited on the drive there because they know the way.
