Bethany has been so helpful in caring for our dog. She treats her well and clearly has a love for animals. She's responsive and kind and we plan to continue using her on a weekly basis for as long as she's offering her services.

About: My wife and I have always had dogs, and they have always been an extremely important part of our lives. We lost our dog Miles in Sept of 2025, and we have made the decision that before we get another dog of our own, we'd like to try boarding dogs for a while, to give us an opportunity to bring that love and companionship back to our home while providing a service to the community, in a place where you know your dog will be safe, receive tons of individual attention, and lots of love. I work at home full-time, so I am always around to provide some attention to pets as I have for many years. It's easy for me to take breaks most anytime to allow the dog to get outside and take care of their business, or just give them some love and attention that they need. I want to care for your dog the way the owner would like, so I will take the lead from the instructions of the owner. We have a nice backyard, and we are in an area that is perfect for walking a dog on a leash. Additionally, there are several dog parks in the area that we can take your dog to if that is something you're interested in.

Allison has been great! Super friendly and helpful when scheduling, and she has great availability. This is the second time she's taken our Aussie pup on a walk to help get some energy out. Love getting the pictures of her time with him and the note she leaves about their time together. Will definitely keep using Allison

About: I've had cats my whole life! Recently I've fostered six cats (including some kittens) and foster failed my current cat, Goose. I'm studying for medical school exam and have some free time for extra cuddles. Growing up, I frequently cared for my family's two mini Schnauzer's and would love to take your dogs for walks too! I am currently studying for medical school board exams and have a flexible routine that has plenty of time to check in on your furry friends. Not all cats are created equal and I pride myself on being able to read your cat's body language to determine what they need from me. I have experience walking dogs in a busy city environment.

About: I’ve taken care of different breeds of dogs, As well as domestic kinds of animals. When working with different animals I make sure I know everything I can about their routine, training, schedules so that they are returned back to owner, the owner is very satisfied with my service with their pets. I connect very well with the animals so that they are very comfortable with me and so that owner feels confortabke entrusting me with their pets. With puppies i make sure to ask all necessary questions with potty training making sure they are taken out often, to any current training being worked on with owner at home. With senior dogs making sure any routine they are on with eating walking or any possible medications are kept on track. Please let me know if their are any questions. Currently I am a stay at home Mom. Any routine any owner needs me to stick with it will be worked with and stay on track with training. I can take 1-2 dogs at a time. I like to do meet and greets so that new pets and their owners can get to know me and feel comfortable with their pets being in my care. Would need to be potty trained and neutered/spade. I love animals that are cuddle bugs! I do not have a fenced in yard but my house large enough for play and can go on walks nearby by park by house. I make sure a gate is up in my house so I can keep an eye on all pets being watched.

About: I've had pet since my earliest memories. On top of caring for pets of my own, including cats, dogs, reptiles, arachnids, and more, I also fostered animals in southern Indiana for 5+ years. Now that I'm in the Cincinnati area I want to find a way to help animals again so I joined Rover! I currently work as a contractor for a delivery company so I choose my own hours, this way I have time to fit in the furry friends. I can come any time, day or night! When caring for pets in someones home I always make sure to have a list of things the pet parents want to make sure is done. I also make sure all cabinets and doors are secure before leaving a room, this way pets can't get into anything they shouldn't. When outside with the pups, I always make sure to keep them on the outside away from the road when walking on sidewalks.

About: As a rottweiler owner for over 40 years, i have always had lots of day care "pet playdates" with my Rotties. I was a great Rottie owner and believed in a well behaved , well socialized pet, so they always had lots of cousin, friends and neighbor"dog friends". when i retired from Hollywood, we would have a blind Jack Russel dropped off daily for day care and my Rottie actually helped this little guy with his new blindness, helping him find his way around. My last Rottie passed in Oct 2026 and my heart was broken. i do have a rescue 8 years old sweet girl that also. loves to have company. Since i am currently retired and home most days, i am completely available to house sit or have in home guests. I do have a nephew that lives here and if need be, i'd be perfectly fine in traveling to house sit. At my home, i have a fenced yard and a nice outdoor deck where we all tend to hang out during nice weather. i also have a large crate in my family room from my last Rottweiler, that is available if needed. When house sitting, i like to know the schedule for the pet and any specific medical or feeding issues ahead of time. i also like to have contact numbers for the owner and vet for emergency's

About: I’m currently studying to be a vet assistant. Since I was a kid I’ve loved animals and have accumulated lots of knowledge over the years. I’ve been trusted to care for many family pets. I’m very calm and patient, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to care for your pets as well! I’m currently working part-time, early mornings. Mid-week, afternoons and weekends are the best times for me to care for and play with your babies! I live in a very quiet home and a very quiet neighborhood. We can sit and relax while I knit or easily walk down to the nearby observatory, park, or town square.

Alison has been very reliable and responsive. She’s been walking our new puppy for the last couple weeks to help us get her out of the crate during our work day so she isn’t in there more than 4hrs. Puppy dealing with some pretty bad stomach issues and Alison very helpful with this as far as checking in with worried pup mom and offering more water/different options when pup not up for a walk. She’s been wonderful and we’re very grateful. Will continue to use her services as long as we can and are in a situation where work schedule forces pup into crate for too many hours.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Fort Thomas. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 96% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
