Old puppies are the best puppies!
I've had several rescue dogs over the past 25 plus years. Everything from puppies to the oldsters that needed to be medicated and then gently let go. I especially like the old pups that have a hard time with boarding. I give them lots of love and/or space (whichever they prefer). My mission is to care for your dogs the way that I always hope that mine are cared for when I board them. I care for only two dogs at a time and they must be under 40 lbs so you can be assured that your fur babies won't be bullied or lost in the mix. I have toys, crates, dog beds, leashes and bowls so you only need to bring what will make your dog's stay most comfortable. Dogs sleep in our bedroom either in a dog bed on a couch at the end of our bed or in a large open top crate (whichever sleep situation they are used to).

Tina is amazing with Rusty. I’m nervous leaving my baby with anyone and I can easily tell he’s comfortable with her. It makes it easier to have a relaxing vacation k owing he’s well taken care of.

Remy and I are soooooooo connected, but when we arrive at Tina’s house, he immediately runs to their door. And I’m a helicopter pup mama, but I never have any worries when Rem is with Tina.

Tina is a terrific pet sitter and we’ve used her many times. She takes excellent care of our dogs and provides lots of photos and updates while we’re away.

Schedule
I do not work, my husband works from home and my niece is 20 and a commuter student at NKU. We all love dogs and enjoy walking them and loving on them.

I have a large fenced side yard with security lights and we walk our two mini-golden doodles at least once a day. They are super friendly but also sleep a lot. It's pretty relaxed at our house. The dogs sleep in our bedroom and we have two big pens with dog beds. The pets are allowed on the furniture.

A typical day
We have a nice neighborhood with a couple of thinly traveled roads to walk along. We walk about 1 - 2 miles per walk weather permitting. The dogs are let out frequently to play in the yard. The evening finds us snuggled on the couches for a bit of TV or reading.
