“We planned on going to the Mississippi State football game and needed to board our little dog. Rover was very easy to use. It's like Uber. You pay online so it's very easy to do. We dropped off our dog and were happy to get a photo of him chilled out. We picked him up after the game and he was very happy. Elizabeth did a good job and we will use her again. Our dog was very happy when we picked him up!”

“Ben was a great dogsitter and would recommend him to anyone! He sent me pictures/videos dailyand was very prompt in responding to me. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter.”

“We are a military Family who recently arrived to the area and we needed immediate boarding for our Weimaraner because of our housing situation. I’d had great success with Rover’s at previous locations, so we were hoping to find a good one here. Kodi was not just good, she was phenomenal! She provided excellent care to our dog for an extended period of time. And he had an absolute ball with the other dogs she was providing care for. it was almost like sending your kid to an awesome summer camp, where they are well cared for and make some great friends and great memories. It gives you tremendous peace of mind! I HIGHLY recommend Kodi’s Rover services - your pet will be provided with great care, affection and attention. And she will keep you informed with updates and pictures during their stay. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I grew up in a house with cats but now I have two dogs that are part of my family that I love dearly. During my time living with cats, I learned how to take care of a cat that had diabetes and another one that was deaf. I have experience with administering oral medication and injections for animals who are diabetic. I have not only looked after cats and dogs, but I have experience taking care of guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish and even helped with birds during family visits. I am a stay at home mom of two littles. My husband is in the military. We play outside as much as possible with weather permitting. Most dogs go out about every two hours or when they request. I try not to stay away from the house longer than 4 hours at a time if I can help it. My dogs are feed twice a day around 7am and 5pm. I am available Sunday through Saturday to help care for pets. I have a fenced in backyard. Two friendly golden retrievers and two loving young children 3 and under 1. We have two crates to kennel if needed (giant and X-Large).
“Highly recommended! Stephen took care of my puppy for 5 days and it was excellent. He was very attentive and affectionate, and the fact that he sent me photos kept me at ease the whole time. I am also very grateful to his daughters, as they took care of him and played with him throughout the stay. I am so happy with their dedication and the great care provided. I will definitely count on them again!”

“Needed someone to watch my little furbaby over the holidays last minute and Brynna was very quick to respond! She was very kind and sent updates and pictures over the three day stay! Nyla seemed very happy and energetic at pick up so I was satisfied. This was my first Rover experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Brynna again ? Thank you again!”

About: I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned about my pets to others. Every pet has their own personality I want to get to know them. Pet car fits perfectly into my schedule as I complete college online and am home majority of the day they always have my undivided attention. I have a semi fenced yard but so much for them to run in the back. I have a fur baby of my own who loves to play, he’s gentle and sweet. He treats other dogs with respect and knows to set a boundary if they want to play or not.

We couldn't have asked for a better dog-sitting experience! Having daily picture updates gave us a complete peace of mind and allowed us to have a truly stress-free vacation. It was so clear that the entire family treated our pup like one of their own, showering her with love and plenty of belly rubs. We will be definitely booking with them again. Highly recommended!

Derek was an amazing sitter. He had our dog in his home for 4 days while we were on vacation. He took her to the park, played with her and kept us engaged with a great many photos and videos. Our dog looked so happy we were concerned she may not want to come home. We highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
