About: Hii, I’m currently a service member but also an animal lover. I come from a family that’s trained K9s for the police academy in Cuba. I have trained and baby sat all types of fur babies before joining the military and currently still am. I grew up with so many different breeds of dogs. About: Hello there and welcome to my Rover site! Thanks for taking a look and I'm hoping to be able to be your animal's friend during the time you're away. I have been with dogs since I was a baby as well as taking care of them since I was 12, when I got my own first German Shepherd. Been there for many animals from puppies to senior and everywhere in between. Many friends, family members and neighbors have come to me to watch their babies while gone, to check in on them or take them on walks. I have dealt with most breeds and understand basic needs, medical concerns and safety of everyone. I'm a retired veteran from the US Army and a full time stay at home mom. My day to day is getting kids ready for school, drop off, pick up and homework time. In between all that, Im doing chores or watching some episodes of my favorite shows, so I will have plenty of time to be with your pet. My kids are 5 and 7, so most of the day they are at school. When they are home they help out with the animals and give them even more attention and love. John, my husband, works full time. With our schedule, if there is ever a time I need to step out, he is always here to help. I always prefer a meet and greet before we set up anything so the animal can acknowledge who I am or where they will be staying, even when doing drop ins. This makes the transition alot easier on both sides. We stick to one client at a time to keep the house easier to maintain and also for the safety of your pet and mine, as well as the family. We have a large fenced in yard to keep your pet safe but have plenty of room to run and play. We also have a crate for crate training or sleeping if you so prefer. We allow pets on the furniture unless you say otherwise. We will always follow by the owner's rules and ways of doing things in our home.

About: I have taken care of a plethora of animals from childhood to adulthood. I have worked with many shelters doing volunteer work. I have my own pets who i take great care of as well. I currently work full time. During the week I have availability for boarding. For Drop ins & walks my availability is limited to the weekends currently but that may change soon. Generally for boarding I prefer drop offs be the night prior so that I have ample time to prep my home for our guest. I have a fenced in backyard and a senior dog. I give multiple bathroom breaks outside as well as scheduled feeding times. I also give walks daily.

My husband (Josh) typically assists house-sitting with me if you are comfortable, we both prefer to do meet and greets before booking. On some days I do not stay until 2 pm, occasionally we are split in groups and alternate lab days and I will get out at 10 am. When a pet stays at my home, they have access to the entire house unless they need to be separated per your request. I have different areas that can be blocked off if needed. Right now I’m unemployed and I have a son who goes to daycare so I’m naturally free during the weekdays. During the weekend I can manage a babysitter My dog is fed morning and evening. Has a lot of yard space to run as he’s a very energetic breed. I do groom him myself such as clipping his nails and bathing and brushing.

About: I’ve taken care of many pets of family and friends over the years. I LOVE playing with high energy dogs and also don’t mind to cuddle with the sweet and quiet. I am great company for all dogs with any personality. I am nearly obsessed with taking pictures of dogs (my camera roll is flooded with them). I can take awesome pictures of your pet and send them to you while we are on our adventure! I live on Fort Rucker and I work from home, so I would prefer to watch your pet at my house if possible! I am very active so they will get good walks/attention before business hours and during lunch. 🙂 I live on Fort Rucker and prefer to bring your pet to my house where possible for multi-night visits. I have no other pets at the moment!
About: I've had pets my whole life, including dogs, cats, a ferret, and hamsters. I currently have my own deaf dog& a lab. I've taken care of many people's ferrets, fish, cats, and dogs. I only work 2 days a week, so I have got plenty of time most days to take care of another animal or a few! My husband and I love to run, we run with our dog and could run (or walk) yours too if needed! We've also got a fenced in yard, and a dog park very close by. Our dogs are friendly and love to play. We do have to crate our dogs in our home when we are gone, so would probably need to crate a visiting dog as well, but we don't typically leave for longer than 1-4 hours at a time. I only work a few hours, 2 days a week, so I have lots of free time to take care of another animal (or a few!) I could easily stop to see pets nearby as well, whether for a walk or run, or just to check up on them. I run with my dogs at least 3 days a week, and could run (or walk) yours too if you'd like! We visit the dog park frequently, and have a fenced in yard! My dogs are playful if other dogs are, but they also like to sleep a lot. We love going on adventures too! We love to take our dogs with us, and could take another too!

About: I've had dogs my whole life. So bathing and grooming I think I know worries. I have a chunkster of my own, sweet as can be. We can keep dogs separate if needed. Want to make all dogs and cats feel welcome and have a home to come to. I'm a stay-at-home dog mom. Rover is my part time job. I just want to love on dogs and kitties all day. All ages, sizes, and shapes are welcomed! We have a chubby fur-baby. She's spade and very sweet! Loves cats and likes most dogs. But we have a two story house so keeping puppies sperate is no worries. Very large yard for the dogs to play and daily walks are typical.

Monday–Friday * I work from approximately 9:00 AM to 2:00–3:00 PM. * Before leaving, I’ll make sure your dog has gone outside, has fresh water, and is settled comfortably in their crate (if they are crate trained and that’s part of their normal routine). * As soon as I return home, your dog will head outside for a potty break, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Weekends & Holidays * I’m home and available throughout the day. * I typically start my mornings around 8:00 AM, allowing for early potty breaks, breakfast, walks, and playtime. * Weekends are all about keeping your dog active, comfortable, and feeling like part of the family, with plenty of supervised play, enrichment, and relaxation. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. My home features a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. During Alabama’s warmer months, I also set up a small splash pool so pups can cool off and have a little extra fun. Just outside my townhome is a ¼-mile walking track, where my Goldendoodle and I enjoy daily walks. We average at least 1.5 miles every day, giving dogs plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities to explore at their own pace.
