“Maggie was phenomenal! She went above and beyond not only for my kitties but for the security and safety of my house/belongings. She was 100% honest, upfront, an excellent communicator, and punctual which created a great routine for my cats. She made my time away much easier with her in depth daily updates. My kitties loved her! I will absolutely be using her again.”

“Hannah was a wonderful drop-in pet sitter for my three fur babies. She won over Memphis's trust very quickly. Jesse always hides and Molly is first to greet everyone. Molly did enjoy playing with Hannah and Memphis snuggled with Hannah for scratches and kisses. Pictures were provided daily and more. I will definitely use Hannah again....perhaps even next month ☺️”

“Taylor checked on my dogs as agreed upon and was willing to accommodate some late night/early morning check ins, which was so appreciated. She sent a lot of photos and the dogs look very happy in all of them. When I got home, they all seem happy and well cared for. She was communicative throughout and let me know immediately about some minor issues (my dogs' fault, not hers). Everything was as expected and It was nice to know they were well taken care of. If I need a pet sitter again, I would be happy to book with Taylor in the future.”

“Another 5 star sitting for my furry friends. Annetta is always great with Chester and Max and they love having her over. She is a true animal lover and will take great care of your fury family member.”
About: I’ve had numerous jobs working with animals including the care of livestock, dogs, cats, birds, sugar gliders, you name it! I worked at a horse stable for 6 years and Petsmart for 2 years as an animal caretaker. I am not working right now but I’m going to school Mondays and Wednesdays from 10-3pm. So I have a lot of free time to take care of your fur babies. I usually make a list, or have the pet parents make one to ensure I’m taking care of their pets to their standard. . .
“Hailey was a great sitter for my cat crepe! She always took tons of pictures for me to see and gave her lots of attention, as well as cleaning up after her and making sure everything was in order at my apartment. She’s great at communicating quickly with any questions or concerns she had. Would definitely recommend her!”

“My cats are normally shy but loved Amber & greeter her during meet and greet & even let her pet them during the visit. They obviously love her & give all the paws up for excellent service.”

About: I’ve taken care of large, active breeds and smaller, more relaxed pups - all are welcome! All pets will have the opportunity for consistent, safe walks on post with play and attention throughout the day. I am available throughout the work week to help ensure pets are able to get their walks in or to host (at our home or yours) for training or weekend passes and leave. Happy to coordinate a routine schedule or arrange for unexpected care! I have a fenced in yard in Bowden terrace, with a large residential field nearby to take for fetch or for walks around the block. At home, we have a relaxed corgi of our own; your pet is welcome to lounge in the front room, receive healthy snacks (with your approval), and may either sleep in the open or in a kennel for the evening if you prefer. All care will be coordinated with you to ensure your pet feels welcome and comfortable!
About: I am a veterinary assistant and have been for 5years. I have a degree in animal science pre-vet. I have worked with all types of animals from ferrets to birds. I am very comfortable with all types of dogs and cats. I have no problems administering medications. I know that every animal’s personality is different and a little patience and TLC goes a long way. I treat your animals how I would want my pups to be treated when I’m not around. I have two Australian shepherds who both love making new friends (people and dogs) I have a big fenced in backyard that you fur baby will be able to run around freely in. We allow our fur guests to lounge on the couches and make our home their home. I send picture and text updates on how your baby is doing so you know they are being loved and cared for. I do prefer a meet and greet before booking a stay. I want to make sure both parties are comfortable and happy. I do have a 2year old who loves dogs but understands giving them space.
About: I've been taking care of cats in my family my whole life, along with helping my neighbor's with their dog off and on again. Today, I've got a kitten and a tripod so I'm well acquainted with all types of cats. I'm currently working minimal shifts during the week in the mornings, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets, including weekends. I can go anywhere on base or in the local area and take care of your pets exactly as requested, just leave a list or schedule.
About: I have been around all different kinds of dogs my entire life. My parents were big animal lovers which had been passed on to me. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat of my own. One is a smaller dog and our other 2 are bigger dogs (60-75 lbs). Our cat is a 3 year old cat who is not afraid of anything. He loves to play with our dogs like he is one of them! I have a heart for animals and love getting to spoil and play with all the dogs/ cats that I have the chance to meet. I currently am staying at home with my daughter! I was a teacher but now am staying at home full time. Whatever you need I am able to fit your animals schedule into my day! I am able to follow any schedule and rules that are needed to be followed. It is so important to know that your dog is in good hands and taken care of when you are away and I want to be sure that every client knows I will do that for them. I will be sure to love on, play and make sure the dogs needs are met and each client can have an eased mind when they are away.
About: I've taken care of not only my own pets but others as well, regardless of age. I will be helpful with young or senior dogs. I will give lots of love and treats when I'm with them! Currently new to the Ft. Rucker area with a little one in school. Looking to help others while she's in school. I'm currently free daily unless otherwise. I am very aware of my surroundings, I make sure that if your pet doesn't bode well in an area, I will make sure they are taken to an area that makes them feel comfortable. I make sure that they are safe and secure while walking or playing. Just like my own, I make sure their bums are clean after going out, as well as paws and faces. I'll make sure their food and water is clean or refilled.
“Phyllis is wonderful. I met with her prior to leaving town to discuss my fur baby’s needs. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She did a great job of taking care of him and providing updates and pictures. I will definitely be calling on her again.”

“Carolyn was an incredible sitter and I would book with her time and time again! She was so wonderful and sweet with our cat and went above and beyond to make sure we received updates and pictures. Carolyn left our house spotless and is trustworthy and communicative. Thank you again for a great Rover experience!”

“Shyla & John were perfect! Shyla dropped in on our cat once a day for 14 days over the Christmas holiday. She is very responsive, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. She responded almost immediately when I requested if she was available and was accommodating when I worried about our cat being alone for too long on the first day. She was able to stop by earlier and also dropped by during a few times on the automatic feeder since I needed reassurance that it was actually working! I would definitely recommend to anybody!”

Fort Rucker cat parents share their Rover experiences
James was an exceptional sitter! He paid attention to details, and was thorough on every visit. I loved getting all the pictures of my fur baby, along with other aspects of her care I requested. His communication was clear and timely. I was worried to leave my pet while on vacation, but it was clear very quickly that my pet was in responsible and caring hands. I really appreciated that he took the time to actually play with and care for my cat, not a simple drop in to feed her. I will definitely use James again as a pet sitter if I need one!
