I learned at a very early age (I'm talking single digits) that pets are way more than pets; they're family! I grew up in a home with very large dogs, and consistently volunteered with a no-kill dog shelter until my college years. Time (and integration into the military lifestyle) has shaped me into a bit of a "crazy" cat lady. I have been loving the cat mom life for over eight years now. I am the mom to Charlie, an adopted Tuxedo, and and most recently to George, who we brought in from the streets of Fort Rucker. Trust me when I say I understand the anxiety you feel when you are struggling because you can't be in a million places at once and need someone to help care for your pets. Trust me when I say I understand the peace and calm you feel when you finally get to take that trip to see your family for the first time in a year and you're states away but don't have to worry because your pets are in good, quality care.
