“We had two elderly sick kitties. We lost our boy kitty a few days before the reservation. The reservation for drop ins changed a few times. It worked out in the end. It was just three days, but was important to have someone there for our girl kitty after she lost her littermate of 16 + years. Sage was very understanding of our situation.”
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication to providing personalized care for each dog. I have extensive experience in training puppies, ensuring they develop good habits early on. Additionally, I specialize in senior dog care, offering gentle and attentive support for older pets. My approach is all about understanding each dog's unique needs and making sure they feel coming and loved while you're away. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I make sure to set aside time every day for feeding, walking, and playing with my furry friends. It's essential to me to prioritize their well-being and happiness, so I always make sure they get the attention and care they need. Whether it's a quick walk in the morning or some playtime in the evening, I love being there for them and making sure they feel loved and cared for. When I'm caring for pets in my own home, I make sure to create a safe and comfy environment. I have designated spaces for them to sleep, play, and eat. I keep a close eye on them and make sure they get plenty of exercise and love. At a client's home, I stick to the pet's regular routine as much as possible. I follow any specific instructions the owner gives me to make sure their pet feels comfortable and secure. Whether it's feeding schedules, medication, or favorite toys, I make sure to keep everything consistent so the pet feels right at home.
“Mak was amazing with our cat, Benji. She was very responsive and communicative from the start, which really helped ease our stress during the holidays. Benji is very shy, but by the end he was getting close to her—a great sign. We’re very happy to have found someone as attentive and responsible as Mak and will definitely reach out to her again. Thank you a lot!!”

About: Hi! I’m Dusty — full-time dog lover, part-time treat dispenser, and your pup’s next favorite human. I share my home (and heart) with two Australian Cattle Dogs: Leia the bossy big sister and Griff the chaotic little brother. They keep me on my toes and have trained me quite well in the art of fetch, belly rubs, and spotting squirrels from 300 yards. Whether your dog needs a cozy place to stay, a midday stroll, or just someone who understands that “zoomies” are a way of life — I’ve got you covered. I’m experienced, attentive, and treat every dog like they’re part of my pack (yes, baby talk included). Let’s make some tails wag! Growing up, I fostered senior dogs, walked pups for elderly neighbors, and even cared for a retired military K9 until he was reunited with his handler — so your dog is in good hands, and likely good company too. I’m currently working full-time 40 hours during the week. I have time after 6 PM during the week and all day during the weekend. Preferably early mornings. I want to make sure every animal I care for is comfortable And get to know their personality and what they enjoy so it can be an enriching experience for them and not stressful.
About: I treat every pet like they are part of my own family. I am reliable, patient, and attentive to each animal’s routine, personality, and comfort level. I also have experience caring for geriatric pets and animals that need medication, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and close attention to detail. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, basic reinforcement of good habits, or extra care, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I am already used to being responsible, organized, and consistent with my time. I make sure pets receive dependable care, attention, walks, feeding, medication if needed, and companionship without feeling rushed. I understand that animals do best with routine, so I work hard to follow each owner’s instructions and keep their pet’s schedule as normal and comfortable as possible. I focus on keeping their routine as normal, safe, and comfortable as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, medication, potty breaks, crate use, playtime, and any special care needs. I make sure pets have a clean, calm environment, fresh water, regular attention, and plenty of patience. I also pay close attention to behavior, energy level, appetite, and comfort so I can quickly notice if something seems off. My goal is to give each pet dependable care while giving the owner peace of mind.
About: I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned about my pets to others. Every pet has their own personality I want to get to know them. Pet car fits perfectly into my schedule as I complete college online and am home majority of the day they always have my undivided attention. I have a semi fenced yard but so much for them to run in the back. I have a fur baby of my own who loves to play, he’s gentle and sweet. He treats other dogs with respect and knows to set a boundary if they want to play or not.
About: I have fostered cats and dogs of all ages (newborn to geriatric), I have been a vet assistant for over 6 years in small, large, and exotic animal care, worked with farm animals, and own 2 dogs and 3 cats. (And quail :) ) I have assistant shelter staff with dog meet and greets and helped train nervous pets for rehoming potential. I currently work from home so I do not have a strict schedule and can be flexible for your pets needs! I would prefer to not sleep in my clients home as I have my own pets that will miss me too! I have plenty of enrichment toys and puzzles for cats and dogs that can help reduce stress and increase mental stimulation, I will gladly administer medications as needed, and walk for exercise to what makes your pet most comfortable while you’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ozark. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
