“Great communication and frequent pictures to allow you to see your pet while away she also sent videos. As if you were there with your pet. Great sitter will use again definitely. Beach Complete lawn care Stan J”

“Cathryn is wonderful! She communicates in a timely manner, and our little dog, Daisy, seems very comfortable with her. We had an issue getting back into town on time, but Cathryn was understanding and was able to work with us for an extra day (we're so appreciative!!). She's pretty great. I'll happily ask her to watch Daisy for us in the future.”

“Caitlin & Adrik took such great care of my girl! She is very high maintenance and has a special diet, but Caitlin & Adrik were able to accommodate her needs each and every day. They kept me informed of her day-to-day. They sent pictures and videos, and we’re very flexible at the last minute when my travel plans changed suddenly. I highly recommend them to care for your fur babies.”

About: I have had pets in my life ever since I was little. So I love helping take care of them. I also am very good with puppies and teaching them new tricks, and helping with potty train. I also love helping keep dogs very active, or just chill with them and cuddle! I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of free time. All days of the week are good for me. I’m even available on weekends if needed. I have a fenced in backyard. I also have a dog of my own, who loves to play with others and gets along with all sizes. He loves to share his toys or just play together. Or if it’s in your own home, anywhere your fur baby loves to play! I also have dog parks around for your baby to play with or without others, and a nice neighborhood to walk around. Or we can walk around your neighborhood as well!
About: I have grown up on a farm and have been taking care of animals all my life. I have a passion for helping and love all dogs and cats. I have a medical background and don’t shy away from administering medicine, shots and pills. I have delivered many litters and am comfortable around older or sick dogs. I stay home right now and all of our kids are out of the house. So now I only have our furry babies at home. I provide safe and clean environment for my pets. Keep them all up to date on their health care. Give them lots of love and attention.
“Zeke had a blast and came home happy. Jessie was always quick to respond to messages and provided pictures and videos but did not overwhelm me with them like some do. She is our new GO TO sitter!”

I live in a cozy townhouse, providing a safe and comfortable environment for your furry friends. While I work a full-time job from 8 AM to 5 PM, I am dedicated to ensuring that pets receive ample attention, playtime, and care once I'm home. Your pets will enjoy a loving, nurturing atmosphere with plenty of cuddles, playtime, and walks. I’m more than happy to follow any specific instructions or routines to ensure your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets ☺️ I work Monday through Friday in Panama City, FL. I leave home at 7:30 am and arrive back home at 5:30 pm. I’m off on weekends. I own my own home and live alone. I have plenty of room for your dog to wander around inside and a nice neighborhood to take them on daily walks. I also don’t mind them in the furniture as my pup never leaves my side and snuggles on the couch with me daily. And no worries he loves ALL animals. He never meets a stranger.

“Jackie was such a great sitter for our Goldendoodle puppy! She kept in close contact with us and gave us updates throughout our dog's stay. We felt comfort knowing that our lil pup was in good hands. I would recommend Jackie 100%!”

“Barb was absolutely a wonderful dog sitter! Our Labradoodle Ziggi was well taken care of and had a great time with her. Barb was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She kept us informed daily with pictures about how Ziggi was doing. We had an unexpected family emergency and had to fly out on Thanksgiving day which was already stressful and Barb made it so much easier and was very accommodating. Knowing that Ziggi would be taken care of took a lot of stress away from our trip. We would definitely use Barb again to dog sit Ziggi.”

“Lesta took such good care of our dog Wishes, and on such short notice. The same day we got to Panama city beach, I contacted her and she was able to watch Wishes. Lesta constantly kept me updated with pictures and videos. I love that she treated Wishes as her own and that her dog got along with mine so well. Wishes also loves to snuggle so I was happy that Lesta allowed her to sleep next to her and her dog. If I ever come back here, I will definitely contact her again to watch Wishes :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
