About: Hi! I’m Sydney and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have two large dogs (about 75–80 lbs each), so I’m very comfortable with big breeds, high-energy dogs, and leash training during walks. I understand how important routine and trust are when someone else is caring for your pet. I’m reliable, attentive, and will make sure your dog gets the exercise, potty breaks, and attention they need while you’re away. I am real estate agent in the Panama City area so I can move my schedule around all fur baby’s needs. I am available on almost all days. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, potty breaks, medication if needed, and any specific habits your pet has. I respect your home, keep things clean, and make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed while you’re away. On walks, safety is my top priority. I make sure dogs are securely leashed, avoid unsafe situations with other animals, and pay attention to their energy level and comfort. Whether your dog needs a quick potty walk or a longer walk to burn off energy, I make sure they get the exercise and attention they need. I also send photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing.
“Christine came on short notice to meet out crazy frenchies and then did a drop in visit with lots of pictures. She was a life saver and will definitely use again. Thank you Christine”

About: I’ve had animals of all kinds my whole life. I’ve volunteered at the humane society to walk big dogs and help get them adopted. My last dog was a bull terrier who lived to be 16 and he was my first baby. Bull terriers and Great Danes are a unique breed but so much fun and it brings me so much joy to be around animals and help them in anyway I’m a stay at home mom and a retired Marine veteran. I have nothing but time during the week to help out and possibly weekends depending on the date and time. I can crate them if need be, walk, play, feed, bathe and watch over your pet drop off at doggy day care or play at the dog park if they’re up for it! I’m experienced in large strong breeds as well as tiny little guys!
About: I’ve taken care of cats and a few dogs since I was 8. I helped a newborn kitten and nurtured him back to life. I’ve had a bearded dragon and I now have a fish. I’m available mostly week days after 2 and weekends after 2. I do have a few days off during the week like Wednesday and Thursday and sometimes fridays I can take care of your baby easily. I can walk them and take them for a bathroom break as well. I love animals. :)
“Cranesha did very well with following specific instructions. I could tell my dog felt at ease with her. We rested well knowing our dog was well cared for. I hope to use her in the future. Thank you. 😊”
About: I've lived on a horse farm my entire life surrounded by animals. Keeping a schedule of stimulation and care daily. I work as a Wrangler giving children horse back riding tours through the mountains and care for 150 head of horses (off my property) on a regular basis. I grew up with multiple dogs large and small as well as cats, cows, chickens, turkeys, the works! I've cared for multiple litters of Cocker Spaniel puppies as a child, including bathing, trimming/grooming, and feeding. I have helped birth a litter of pups as well as a horses new born foal. I care for my friends pets when they go out of town all the time and really enjoy the company of a furry companion on my numerous hiking adventures around the county. Let me take your pet to some amazing scenic destinations to be a dog in today! I'm currently not working for a company. I can care for your pet on your own timeline 5 days a week. Walks, Boarding, I can do it all! I have a fenced in yard that reaches 360 degrees around my home. I live within five minutes of the national forest. I can take your pet on amazing forest adventures that will ensure they leave happy and tired.

About: I have loved and taken care of animals ever since I could remember. I love all dogs and cats and they tend to love me too! Currently I’m focusing on college and working part time. My hours are very flexible as of right now so I’ll be available at virtually all times. I will follow directions the best I can. While you’re not there, keeping the animals’ schedule is very important to me. If I asked someone to watch my animals, I’d expect them to take as much care as I would.

“We really appreciated Abigail's help with taking care of our cat while we were gone over the holidays. She gave great updates every visit with pictures. We will definitely try to use her again when we need someone for our pets.”

“Lauren is a great sitter! She did everything she was asked to and then some. My pets felt very comfortable with her and were well taken care of. Will definitely be using her again.”

“I am beyond satisfied with the excellent work provided. Everything was spotless, and my furry babies were happy and content. The attention to detail and care were truly outstanding. I highly recommend Somer service 100%! Thank you for such a fantastic experience.”

“Ashton was amazing with our pups. I can tell they are so happy in her care. We went on a weekend trip and we felt very comfortable knowing the dogs could stay home and would be well taken care of. We got lots of pictures of them outside having a good time!”

“Hope was great, she was very professional and flexible with the house visit. She was also very sweet and kind with my pups and she sent photo updates while we were out. I will definitely reach out to her again in the future and will recommend her to others.”

“Kelly was so wonderful and attentive to our dog! It’s hard leaving a very old dog to go out of town, but I didn’t worry at all knowing Kelly was watching her. We will definitely be using her again!”
“Our dogs had such a good time with Tess! We went out of town for a few days and have two dogs that are scared of people generally, but Tess was able to make them feel comfortable and loved so they played a lot, ate like they should and were not as traumatized as they have been in the past. Wonderful experience!”

About: My name is Alicia. I’ve been a teacher for 18 years. I have had pets for as long as I can remember. As far as “on my own” pets; I’ve owned five dogs, a cat, 4 gerbils, and 2 ferrets. I have experience in medication administration. I had a seizure baby as well so I’m familiar with them also. I have always been super close with my pets and they are allowed free roam of the house and love snuggling on the furniture. I wish I could provide in home services, but currently have a foster staying with me. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I’m currently working flexible hours, so I have varying availability most days! When doing drop by visits to feed or give potty breaks, I make sure to spend a little extra time giving them attention. I’ve found animals can get their feelings hurt a bit when we rush in and rush out on a care visit. I want them to feel special and know that everything is good until your return. I love animals and am familiar with many different sizes/breeds. Just let me know what your specific pet needs/preferences are and I will make sure they are comfortable, cared for, and loved.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
