“Melanie dropped by our home to check on our two kittens. She always sent updates and pictures. She communicated very well and was super trustworthy! We’ll definitely have her watch our cats again 😊”

About: I've owned dogs my whole life and have become skilled in caring for pets. I currently have a Golden Retriever named Charlie and would love to have doggy friends to visit! I have cared for many types of dogs during my life and have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperments. I work everyday with nine hour work days (7am to 4pm) Monday through Thursday, with an eight hour day (7am to 3pm) on every other Friday giving me a free day every other week. I make time every morning and evening to take our dog Charlie on a walk. I make sure they get daily exercise letting them go for walks and I also have a small fenced in backyard. When I am home I will provide them with playtime l as well. I will provide scheduled feedings or space for free feeding dogs as well.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve cared for pets since my teenage years and have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from small companion breeds to large German Shepherds. I’m currently the proud dog mom of Neptune, our 7-year-old Pomsky, and two rescued shelter cats from Louisiana. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal with patience, attention, and genuine care. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which allows me plenty of time to give your pets attention, playtime, walks, and care throughout the day. My husband also works remotely part-time from home, so there is usually someone home during the day. Our teenage daughter is home for the summer as well, meaning your pets will receive lots of love, attention, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We recently added a fenced 0.34-acre yard with plenty of room for supervised outdoor play and exercise. Our home is calm, family-oriented, and full of animal lovers, with multiple people available to give attention and care. I’m experienced with dogs of many sizes and personalities and will always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a little kid, having dogs around me my whole life. I've helped train the family dogs, and earned the trust of even stubborn puppers everywhere I go. I'm able to pet-sit and walk around a part time schedule. I am free most other time and will take wonderful care of your pets. I will keep open communication with owners as to their pet's needs. I can care for sick or elderly dogs, help train puppies (not certified), and keep pets entertained.

About: I have worked as a kennel tech for dog daycare and took care of multiple dogs with different personalities. I’ve also pet sat cats and dogs for family friends. I’m currently working two jobs, but will work to integrate your pet needs into my schedule. I ensure to meet all pet needs as far as food and potty breaks. At a clients home I like to go over any safety precautions and routines so I can stick to what your pet is familiar with while I’m there.
“Kendall was a fabulous pet sitter, she took great care of all three pets. She walked and fed my dogs daily, and gave my cat plenty of attention. Kendall was fantastic. Great communication, sweet with the animals, and I came home to happy pets and a tidy house. Highly recommend!”

About: Thanks for taking an opportunity to discover more about me and what I may be able to offer you, your friends, and your family. I grew up modestly but rich with pet friends. I’m a dog person at heart and most dogs know it as soon as we meet. I’m a retired military guy in the area with a wife and 2 daughters. We own a 10 year old American bulldog named LuLu. I understand the need for good, reliable pet care options. So if some Rover providers can’t support your 2 a.m. dog walk/house call request. Give me a shot, I just might be your best solution. Thanks again for considering me. I’m recently retired and finding that I have so much time and even more energy to give. If you have a schedule that is not typical of the 9-5 work day, I understand. I have the same lived experience. I don’t offer boarding services at this time due to my favorite pup LuLu and her inability to socialize with other animals in her home.
“Kelly was the best. She went above and beyond to care for our cats while we were gone for 2 weeks. we will definitely be using her again. And I recommend her to everyone!”

“Jennifer is so nice and was great with my two cats! I felt comforted knowing that she was there to take care of them while I was gone. Would definitely book her again in the future :)”
“Amber was great and asked many questions to make sure that my fur babies were well taken care of. She stayed in constant communication with me and sent me pictures and videos of my fur babies so I wouldn't be stressing. If you are looking for a phenomenal pet sitter, I highly recommend Amber.”

“Amazing job! This was my first time leaving my puppy for a full day and I’m grateful Alaysia took such great care of him. I received many updates and pictures of her visits to him, overall perfect for what I needed today.”

“Lauren was so great with our dog and cat! We reached out to her on short notice and she responded so quickly. My pets warmed up to her and I feel like she really treated them like her own!!! Definitely will be using her for our next trip out of town!”

“Taelor was amazing. She always made sure our cat was taken of while dropping in and did things without questions (I.e cleaning his litter box, giving him fresh water). Her updates were much appreciated and we’ll definitely be using her in the future”

About: About Me Hi, I’m Sharon! I am a mom of 3 boys. We love caring for healthy, active dogs of all sizes and energy levels. From playful pups to mellow seniors, I provide a fun, loving, and safe environment tailored to your pet's needs. Important Note I focus on caring for dogs without special medical or behavioral needs to ensure consistent, high-quality care. If your pet requires specialized attention, I recommend a sitter experienced in those areas for the best fit. I mostly work from home. When kids are out of school - we mostly stay home and go on walks. We have a great neighborhood for dog walking and my kids love to help! I have a fully fenced private back yard with plenty of space to play. We do have a pool that is unfenced. Our neighborhood is great for dog walking! I can use a crate or baby gate if we leave the house at anytime.
About: I am a mature, flexible retired RN who loves all animals. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs and non-traditional pets. I have a penchant for setting the pets and the pet parents at ease! I’m happy to keep your pet(s) company so they are not lonely while you are away! I perform the usual services: take the dogs out, clean the kitty litter daily, feed & provide fresh water on their schedule, keep them safe and give them treats, if allowed. There’s time for snuggles, playtime & exercise. I will go above & beyond to meet your needs.for pet care. I have experience with senior & young pets. I can accommodate special diets, medications and special needs. I have experience with a blind senior dog and many rescue dogs and cats with emotional, as well as physical needs. I am attuned and equipped to handle medical problems that may arise and would contact you immediately in an emergency. I can perform first aid on mammals if needed. I am available for drop-in visits or overnight stays, depending on your preference. For drop-ins I can come M-F mornings, late afternoons and anytime on weekends. I’m happy to do a meet & greet before you leave to assure you are comfortable. I look forward to working with you and your awesome pets!! I am free most weekdays, weekends and holidays. My standing commitments are from 10am to 1pm M-F, so pet sitting can easily be scheduled around those hours successfully. I am very at ease with most pets and they usually like me right away. It’s a little different with cats & some dogs sometimes, who may have a wait & see stance. I am very patient in that instance and allow them to check me out in their way & in their time. I build trust with patience, kindness & love, respecting the animal’s boundaries.
About: I offer a level of expertise that goes far beyond a standard walk. My journey began with training and caring for German Shepherds at a tender age, which taught me the importance of clear communication and specialized handling. I specialize in high-energy dogs and pups that just need a little more intention to their development. Drawing inspiration from professional handlers like Cesar Milan, I incorporate cycling and movement to help high-energy, stubborn, or anxious 'fur babies' find their calm through physical fulfillment. I am also experienced in clinical support, including administering pills, topical treatments, and injections. Whether your dog is a high-performance athlete needing a bike run or a senior dealing with cognitive or mobility decline, I provide the seasoned, non-judgmental, and unconditional care they deserve. I live by the philosophy that a fulfilled dog is a happy dog, and I treat every client's pet with the same patience I give my own reactive pup. Pet care isn't just a job; it’s the core of my daily routine. Because I focus exclusively on mobile care (visits and walks), my entire day is structured around my 'Roaming Rover' missions. My mornings and afternoons are dedicated to high-energy exercise sessions—like cycling or brisk walks—ensuring your dogs are physically and mentally tired by the time you get home. Because I don’t board dogs in my own home, my schedule is 100% open to prioritize your pets in their most comfortable environment: yours. I prioritize a 'safety-first' environment by conducting a full sweep of the dog’s surroundings upon entry. I carry a professional-grade first aid kit, including cooling gear and medical essentials, to handle the Florida heat. My years of experience means I am hyper-aware of environmental triggers, ensuring your pet remains secure, hydrated, and calm throughout our entire session.
“Absolutely amazing! Michael was phenomenal taking care of our medium drive Belgian Malinois. I can’t say enough good about the care he took of her and I would, without any hesitation recommend him to anyone!!! Thank you!!”

“Sharon took care of my three cats like they were her own. She went to great lengths to spend time with them at her visits and followed my directions explicitly. She administered insulin to my diabetic cat twice daily and made sure he was perfectly cared for. There is no price you can put on the security of knowing your babies are safe and cared for”

Shalimar dog parents share their Rover experiences
Isabella is fantastic! I am so relieved that she was there to take care of my babies. She went above and beyond when my oldest was unable to get up. She took her to the emergency clinic and stayed with her until they took over. I just love Isabella and her caring manner.
