“Desiree was amazing! I can not leave a better review. She took care of our dog, and our cat, and both took to her like they’ve know her their whole lives. She was very attentive to my type A attention to detail. And she gave us tons of photos. I hope she can watch them or check in again soon!”

“Jessica was amazing with our dogs for drop in care while we were at Disney. I was not expecting her to send pictures and videos of the dogs so that was so nice to get live updates. She was very accommodating, and so professional. If you’re looking for a dog sitter and need someone on base then look no further. We will be booking her again this summer and we will have zero worries about our fur babies because we know they will be well taken care of.”

I am very open to walking dogs anytime of day. I typically walk dogs in early morning or evenings due to heat. I am widely flexible! I care for pets in a careful and loving way. I understand the expectations of each client, and their care needs. I will give them exercise and care.

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends animals for years while they are away. I also volunteer at local animal shelter Pet Welfare. I have taken care of little and big dogs and elderly dogs I’m working part time currently but I will be available morning and night every day and most days around mid-day. I don’t mind staying out late to walk dogs or feed them. And I don’t mind getting up early either. I take my dogs out daily and feed them once at morning, once at mid-day, and once at night. They are let out before each meal, and 30 minutes after each meal.

“Alexis was very flexible and kept us up to date. We had to make last minute changes to our travel plans and she worked with us very well. She took very good care of our little pup :) Thank you Alexis!”

About: I've been a dedicated pet sitter for 7 years, during which I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds, from quick drop-ins for a day to providing in-home care for up to a month. I have a knack for training puppies and providing special care for senior dogs, ensuring each pet's unique needs are met. As an avid runner, I'm also thrilled to take dogs on invigorating runs, making sure they get plenty of exercise and fun. Your pet's happiness and well-being are my top priorities! I work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to play with and care for your pups. As a full-time college student with most of my classes being online, I have the flexibility to be available for pet walking, drop-in visits, and in-home care. This flexible schedule allows me to dedicate ample time to ensure your pets receive the love and attention they deserve. Your pets' well-being is my priority, and I'm committed to providing them with the best care possible. At my home, I have two dogs with opposite personalities: one is crate-trained, and the other roams freely, so I'm well-versed in accommodating different pet preferences and routines. This experience ensures that I can create a comfortable environment for your pet, whether they prefer a structured or more relaxed setting. In my clients' homes, I maintain the pet's usual routine to minimize stress. This includes feeding, walking, playing, and providing any special care they might need. As an avid runner, I'm also happy to take your dog on energizing runs if requested, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and enjoyment. It's important to note that for safety, dogs must wear a harness when running with me. I approach pet care with dedication and empathy, treating each pet as if they were my own. Clear communication with clients ensures that their pets receive personalized attention and care that meets their specific requirements. My goal is to provide a seamless and loving experience for your pets, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for at all times.
About: I have had dogs pretty much my entire life, and I have cared for other people’s dogs multiple times through Rover. I am excited to meet new dog friends, and so is my dog! I make my own schedule, so I can run home to let dogs out, take them for walks, and feed them whenever they need! I work close to home as well, so I never leave for very long. I care for pets in other’s home in the same way I care for pets in my home: with lots of love and toys! I keep my home clean, but I always have dog toys around the house.
About: I’m a responsible and caring dog sitter who truly loves spending time with animals. I have experience handling dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just giving them attention and affection, I treat every dog like my own. I’m dependable, patient, and committed to following your pet’s routine to keep things stress-free for both you and your dog. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I’m organized and able to plan my time around responsibilities. I can provide consistent care before and after school, on weekends, and during breaks. I make sure to prioritize feeding, walks, playtime, and attention so pets stay happy and comfortable, even with a busy routine. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines, to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I make sure the space is clean, secure, and free of anything harmful, and I supervise pets carefully during playtime and walks. I also pay attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, giving them plenty of affection while respecting their boundaries. My goal is to create a safe, loving environment where pets feel at home and owners feel confident leaving them in my care.
“Jeannine was great! From the meet & greet I knew she loved animals and she took such great care of my dog on a last minute request. Can’t speak highly enough - will definitely be requesting Jeannine in the future.”

“Heather was awesome!! We’ve only had our dog for a few months so we were incredibly nervous to leave him at home when we went out of town for a family function. I hired Heather to do 4x/day check-ins, and she totally went above and beyond! First off, she took the job with almost no notice since our original arrangement fell through at the last minute, which was huge. When we were out, she spent hours hanging out and walking with our boy, and even stayed the night at the house with him of her own volition. She sent plenty of pictures every day so we never had a doubt that he was living his best life, I think he was a little depressed when she left. She was extremely communicative and asked questions when she wasn’t 100% sure on something, so we felt completely at ease being thousands of miles away and knowing our that our boy was getting the care and attention he needed. Bottom line, as much as I would love to keep Heather on retainer as our exclusive dog sitter, it’s my moral imperative to recommend her to as many people as possible because she’s completely awesome :)”

About: 🐾 Welcome to Our Pack! Need a vacation for your pet while you’re on vacation? We’re a military family in Niceville that treats every dog like they’re part of the family—not a customer. My wife and I have spent our entire lives around animals, from tiny Shih Tzus to giant Great Danes, and just about everything in between. Our home is full of love, attention, belly rubs, and the occasional debate over who gets to spoil your dog the most. We have two animal-loving kids who are always excited to make new furry friends, plus our resident welcoming committee: 🐶 Winnie – our playful Boston Terrier who thinks every dog is her new best friend. If your pup wants to play winnie is their bestest bud. If your pup is unsure and wants space, winnie senses that and is quite ok cuddling on the couch. 🐱 Luggage – our cat who is convinced he’s actually a dog and happily hangs out with everyone. 🐱 Benny Franks - our curious guy who loves to sit up high and supervise the fun! Whether your pet loves playing in the yard, lounging on the couch, going for walks, or simply getting extra attention, we’ll tailor their stay to what makes them happiest. Why pet parents choose us: ✅ Active-duty military family you can trust ✅ Experienced with small, medium, and large breeds ✅ Comfortable with puppies, seniors, and special routines ✅ Frequent photo and video updates ✅ Safe, loving family environment ✅ Plenty of playtime, attention, and cuddles We understand how stressful it can be leaving your pet behind. That’s why we treat every dog as if they were our own and keep you updated so you can enjoy your trip knowing they’re having a great time too. By the time you pick them up, don’t be surprised if they act like they’ve been on vacation too. We can’t wait to meet your best friend! 🐾 We both work full time but Pina is off Mondays and I can always come home during lunch to take care of the puppers. Someone’s home by 3pm and we’re available almost every weekend. I have a huge fenced in 1/2 acre back yard with plenty of area to run and let out energy. Plus Winnie loves to run and play with dogs of every size! We’ll play soccer with the pups and get plenty of fetch and walks in! I can crate the pups if necessary and have plenty of healthy treats!

“Had both a great drop in and a great walk experience with Will. Good communication, both our dogs warmed up to him quickly and he sent us photos on both his visits to our house. Thanks!”

About: I have 3 pups at my parents house that I grew up with and raised. I’m open to all sizes and ages. I’m also open to taking care of sick pups and giving them their medicine. I have a huge backyard that they would love. I do not start college until January but I do work. I don’t work long hours so your puppy will not be in the crate very long at all. I have a fenced in yard and love going on walks. Your pup will always be exercising and having fun. Unless it is needed your pup will most likely never be in the crate until bedtime.
About: In need of a cat sitter while you are away from home? I would love to care for your cats while you are out of town or at work. I can provide feedings, cleaning services, medicine administration & companionship! I have a keen eye & attention to detail that many pet parents look for in a sitter. The ability to know when something is wrong is major. I get genuine joy from animals & have really fallen in love with those of the feline genre. I love their unique, wacky personalities. 🐱 I have two cats at home & am blessed to have a job where I am able to help rescue cats. I am able to work around most schedules. I work for a short time in the mornings/early afternoon & for a couple hours in the evening 2X per week. I am a helicopter mom with my kitties at home. I basically watch them like a hawk when I am home. I always take extra care to ensure no pets are near the door when I am coming & going so that there is no opportunity for them to slip out. I love information so will always discuss your choice for veterinary services in the event of an emergency.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Niceville
Anna was amazing! We have 3 dogs in the 55-60lb range, and she was so patient with the 2 anxious ones who needed a bit more time to warm up to her. Once they did, they loved her. She came to our house to care for them while we were away and sent us updates with pictures regularly. We're all big fans and will definitely be asking her to watch the pups when we go out of town again!

Gina is amazing!! Our dogs were pampered while we went on vacation…they probably were disappointed when we came home, hoping to see Gina walk through the door instead! She took great care of them, exercised them daily, and sent lots of pictures/videos to keep us updated. Gina even noticed that our garbage can was left by the road and was kind enough to bring it back to the house. I am so glad we found such a responsible and sweet sitter!
First time using Rover, and Astrid was wonderful watching our puppy while we were gone for a night! She really explained how everything worked and was really patient when it came to our potty-training puppy. She took so many photos and in-depth reports on her visit, which we loved getting while we were away. Would definitely recommend!

Once again, William saved the day and eased my anxiety! He is hand down THE best pet sitter/walker/BFF to my two dogs! He is so kind and caring and such a great communicator. He thinks of all the things I forgot and take amazing care of my 2 high maintenance dogs. I never worried the entire day (10 hours I was gone) and normally I would be racked with worry and guilt. William is my favorite person in Florida!

Esperanza and Jeffrey are life-savers! We have the hardest time finding a dogsitter with the patience and experience to take care of our special needs pups. They have done a fantastic job building a relationship with our anxious girl and reactive/fearful boy. Our usually difficult dogs have been happy and stress-free under their watch, and it is evident in their behavior and actually eating their food while we are away. Jeffrey and Esperanza always send detailed updates with pictures, and have been flexible with us as our plans have changed. If you have a unique situation and/or difficult pups, we cannot recommend them enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
