I have a genuine love for animals and have always had a natural ability to connect with them. Animals tend to become comfortable with me quickly, including those who are anxious, shy, slow to trust or sometimes uncomfortable with unfamiliar people. I’m patient and take the time to let each pet warm up to me at their own pace. I’m dependable, attentive and comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and personalities. I take the time to learn each pet’s individual routine, personality and needs so they receive personalized care while you’re away. Whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication, companionship or simply some extra attention and reassurance, I’ll treat your pet with the same care and compassion I would want for my own. Their safety, comfort and happiness are always my top priorities.

I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime and any other special needs. I always prioritize safety and make sure doors, gates and leashes are secure. I’m respectful of your home and will keep you updated so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.

Cheryl was recommended by a friend who also had a semi high needs furbaby. She did an amazing job keeping my boy happy, administering his medication, and enforcing his elimination diet. He has epilepsy and this is the first time he has come home from a Rover sitter and NOT had a seizure afterward. I’m thankful I found her and you will be too!

Cheryl and her family were very friendly to us and flexible about timing changes. She also sent us pictures of our dog during the week. Her home is big and dog-friendly with a big fenced-in back yard.
