Hi there! 👋🐾 I’m a huge animal lover and caring for pets truly brings me so much joy 💕 Spending time with animals is one of my favorite things in the world, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I fostered dogs for an amazing rescue in Arizona for about three years 🐶❤️ before moving to Virginia, and I’ve been happily settled in Niceville, FL since July 2017 ☀️🌴 I have lots of experience with rescue pets, senior animals, and pets that need a little extra TLC 🐕🦺🐾 At home, I share my life with two dogs — a Golden Retriever named Hannah and a Lab mix named Benny 🐶🐶 — plus cats 🐱🐱 Besides dogs, I absolutely love taking care of cats of all ages, from playful kittens to sweet seniors 😻 Animals bring me so much happiness, and I genuinely enjoy every moment I get to spend with them 🥰 I believe every pet is unique and deserves individualized care ✨ Senior pets are always welcome here 🤍🐾 They’ll get all the space, comfort, and quiet time they need 🛏️🌿 — and if they’re feeling up for some gentle playtime 🎾 or a nice walk 🚶♀️🐕, I’m happy to follow their lead and provide exactly what they want. Dogs in my care stay inside our home with us and our dogs 🏡🐾 — they’re part of the family, not kept separate. When outside, they’re always supervised in our fully fenced backyard 🌳🐕🦺. I typically don’t use kennels unless a dog is kennel trained and the owner asks me to use one for nighttime or when I leave the house 💤🏠. Dogs enjoy frequent potty breaks 🚪🐕, walks 🚶♀️, playtime 🎾, and lots of attention. Have a high-energy pup? I’m always up for extra exercise or even bike rides 🚲🐕💨 If your pet needs medication while in my care — antibiotics 💊, insulin 💉, anxiety meds 😌, or anything else — please be sure to bring it along. I’m happy to follow your instructions and make sure your pet stays comfortable and well cared for 🩺❤️ A Few Things to Know 🐾 All dogs must have a leash, harness and/or collar with ID tags 🐾 Last-minute bookings are welcome 🙌 🐾 Meet & greets are strongly preferred — please allow time for at least a 30-minute meet up 🤝 🐾 All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations 💉 🐾 I’m unable to accept dogs that show aggressive behavior toward my kids or my pets Dog Boarding Info Boarding is like a comfy hotel stay 🏡🛏️ I’m flexible with drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible 😊 Drop-In Info I offer drop-ins starting at 6:00 AM ⏰🌅 Please allow a +/- 1 hour window around your requested time. What I’d Love to Know About Your Pet The more I know, the better the care! 🐾💬 🎾 Favorite toys (feel free to bring them!) 🐕 Any climbing, digging, or separation anxiety 🗣️ Special commands or cues 🏃 Exercise needs or restrictions 💊 Medications or special care needs 🍖 Food-motivated or attention-motivated? I’m so very happy Alexandra was our sitter!! For the first time ever I did not have any anxiety or worry about leaving our little kitty and betta. I know they were well taken care of and the daily photos and updates were the best.
Alex was absolutely amazing. She provided daily updates and pictures, was responsive and treated winnie like she was one of her own. I will definitely be utilizing alex to watch winnie again.
