“Jackie was such a great sitter for our Goldendoodle puppy! She kept in close contact with us and gave us updates throughout our dog's stay. We felt comfort knowing that our lil pup was in good hands. I would recommend Jackie 100%!”

About: I have taken care of both small and large pets, as well as aggressive breeds. I also am familiar with administering medicine to animals as I grew up with several pets that had medical needs. Additionally, this past year, I fostered a dog for the first time. I absolutely loved the experience and it made me more familiar with rescue animals and their tendencies. I am a college student who is currently home for the summer. I have a remote internship online and can be very flexible with my schedule in order to care for your furry friends! I understand that our pets are members of our families and deserve all the attention and care we can possibly give me. I take this to heart and do my best to ensure they are well cared for so that you may enjoy your time away, without worry. With that said, I am respectful of the fact that you are entrusting me with your pet and your home. It is my top priority to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe with the situation.
About: Lifelong owner - Great Dane, Pit-bull, Puggle, German Shepherd + cats. I grew up with a Great Dane (gentle giants + large breed care), a Pit-bull (high energy, strong, total love bug – Big on positive reinforcement), a Puggle (small dog sass + sniffy walks), and cats, so I’m comfortable with any size, breed or personality. I currently have a German Shepherd, who is friendly, social, and great with other dogs. He’s up-to-date on vaccines and loves having playmates. Your dog will get a built-in buddy for supervised play in our big fenced backyard, but I always do slow introductions and can keep them separate if needed for meals/naps. If your dog refers people only, just let me know and I’ll manage it. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 11 – boarding, daycare, walks, droppings, puppies to seniors. Very comfortable with basic training: sit, stay, crate, training, potty training, leash, manners, no jumping, and sticking to your routine. I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m home all day. Dogs here get potty breaks every 1-2 hours in the backyard, lots of exercise, photo updates, and never left alone for long. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so pet care is my full daily routine and I’m home 24/7. Dogs get potty breaks every 1-2 hours in our big fenced backyard, morning and afternoon play sessions, walks, training practice, and lots of cuddles. I have a friendly German Shepherd who loves play buddies, and we spend most of the day outside. Available for boarding and daycare 7 days a week, including holidays. Safety is my top priority. Big fully fenced backyard with supervised play only – dogs are never outside alone. Small, clean, dog-proofed home, dogs never left alone long. Slow introductions with my friendly German Shepherd, separate feeding/sleeping if needed. Daily photo and video updates, I follow your feeding and crate routine exactly, and happy to do Meet and Greets first. I believe pets are just people with fur ❤️
“Caitlin & Adrik took such great care of my girl! She is very high maintenance and has a special diet, but Caitlin & Adrik were able to accommodate her needs each and every day. They kept me informed of her day-to-day. They sent pictures and videos, and we’re very flexible at the last minute when my travel plans changed suddenly. I highly recommend them to care for your fur babies.”

“Brittany was amazing! She helped us out last minute and was very responsive. I appreciate her taking her time to get to know my dogs. She sent pictures and videos. The puppies looked and seemed to be comfortable and have lots of fun. Totally recommend Brittany!!”

About: What sets me apart is my medical background and hands-on animal experience across a wide range of species. I worked veterinarian settings for 6-10 years, so I’m comfortable monitoring health changes, administering basic medications, and recognizing early signs of illness or distress. Safety and attentiveness come naturally to me. I also hold a Bachelors in agriculture, which gives me a strong understanding of animal behavior, nutrition, and proper husbandry. I regularly foster puppies and dogs, as well as cats and kittens, so I’m experienced with: • Potty training & crate training • Socialization and basic obedience • Bottle feeding & neonatal care • Senior pet comfort and mobility support Your pets won’t just be watched — they’ll be understood, monitored, and genuinely cared for like family. As a stay-at-home mom, my days are centered around caring for others — which makes pet visits a natural and dedicated part of my routine. I structure my schedule around reliable drop-ins, giving each pet calm, unhurried attention and consistent care throughout the day. I follow feeding schedules closely, refresh water, administer medications if needed, and provide attentive companionship tailored to each pet’s personality — whether that’s playtime, enrichment, quiet company, or extra cuddles. I’m respectful of your home, clean in my habits, and mindful of details. I send consistent updates with photos so you can feel fully at ease while you’re away. My goal is for you to return to a happy, relaxed pet and a home just as you left it.
“Our dogs absolutely loved Abigail and her mom! They did so well with her! We were very anxious because this was the first time going away and leaving them with anyone but family, but it went so much better than expected! Abigail and her mom were amazing!! Will definitely be using them again!”

I have a fenced in yard. I have 2 pets, 1 is a small 8 year old dog and the other is a friendly cat!
About: As a lifelong pet owner and animal lover, I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve been taking care of pets since I was very young and have worked with animals requiring special care, including administering medications. I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member, so I always provide frequent updates to keep you connected and reassured. Whether it’s a playful pup or a cuddly cat, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural and important part of our everyday life—it’s something my whole family truly enjoys. We have a very flexible schedule, so we’re able to provide care during the week, on weekends, and even at night if needed. I work part-time just four days a week from 7 AM to 2 PM, and I’m home for the rest of the day. Even while I’m at work, my husband is always home, so your pet will never be left without loving attention. Between the two of us, we’re able to give your pet the time, care, and affection they deserve. Caring for animals is already a big part of our day—we have pets of our own—so welcoming your furry friend into our routine will feel completely natural. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or walks, your pet will be treated like family and showered with love while they’re with us. I live in a cozy 3 bedroom home, with a large back yard that is completely fenced in with tall privacy fencing, perfect for playtime and fresh air. My family—an animal-loving husband, my playful 10-year-old son, and my adoring 5-year-old—are all eager to welcome your pet into our home. Our German Shepherd, Ava, loves making new dog friends, while our cuddly cats, Jocko and Trunks, are gentle and sweet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I ensure a loving and secure environment for them to feel right at home. I can also crate your dog if needed to meet their preferences or your instructions.
“Amber was absolutely AMAZING! I can't leave enough stars! She sent me pictures daily and she was very accommodating and made Ace’s stay absolutely wonderful and worry-free for me. I highly recommend her.”

“Carmen is so kind and accommodating! She genuinely seemed to enjoy caring for our dogs. She loved on them with hikes, snuggles, treats and lots of attention. We laughed and appreciated all the pictures she sent of their adventures. We will definitely be using Carmen again to care for our pups!”

“I had to book last minute and Stephanie was so accommodating. She took such good care of my girl, Ruby. Sent adorable videos and pictures and updates before I could even ask. She was amazing. I would absolutely book again.”

“As always, Fabricia is simply the best sitter for Tori my mother and I have ever had the good fortune to know. We know that Tori wil be loved, pampered and treated like one of her own. Aunt Fabricia is a remarkable person and a loving and dedicated friend to both animals and her fellow man. We are lucky to have her as a friend to Tori and us. Actually, more like family! We always feel comfortable with entrusting Fabricia to take the greatest of care of our lil girl whenever we travel. There is always great communication and multiple pics that show how at ease and at home Tori feels when at Fabricia and Blaine’s lovely home. A special shout out to her own lil dog, Romeo, who has become a great friend to Tori as well. Fabricia is THE BEST all around!!”

“Reya is amazing! I left my dog with her for 2 weeks, and I have never felt so reassured and comfortable. This isn't something I've done often and was so hard for me to leave Woody for 2 weeks, but Reya was so patient and it was so obvious she cared. Will 100% book with her again and recommend her to anyone who wants a trusted and caring person to look after their dog.”

Cathryn was very prompt in getting everything set up and arranging a meet and greet. She was accommodating as we prepared for the drop off. She kept us updated and sent pictures while we were out of town. It was obvious he was happy/content in staying with Cathryn. She was again accommodating for the pickup. I would recommend Cathryn as a caregiver for your pup.

Taylor was absolutely one of the best dog sitters I’ve ever had! She kept me reassured throughout my pup’s entire stay and treated him like one of her own. She sent lots of photos, videos, and updates on how he was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she genuinely cared about him and made sure he was comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. I’m so grateful I found Taylor, and I will definitely be booking with her again. I highly recommend her, she’s the best! ❤️🐾

Shannon was absolutely fabulous! My husband and I were in town to have our wedding with all of our friends and family and had planned on keeping our sweet baby with us but decided it would be best to find someone to watch him since we would be so busy over those few days. I was super nervous leaving my buddy but Shannon reassured me and even checked in throughout the few days she had him and she even sent picture updates! She was absolutely wonderful! Thank you for all you did!

Brittany is an answer to my prayers. My baby does not do well in boarding situations with all the dogs barking and being locked in a cage. So, I found Brittany and she is perfect for my baby. Plenty of love and attention. When I got her home it was like I had never been gone. We found our person❤️So grateful

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
