However you would like your pet cared for, I will ensure that it is completed as specified. When it comes to walking dogs, (or cats), I can ensure they get the exercise needed if they’ve been in a crate all day. It is your home and your fur baby, I am a guest in said home and will treat it as such.
Information Derrick H. would like to know about your pet
If your pet has any special needs or medicine that needs to be administered, I ask that you instruct me on how you’d like it administered and then observe me administer it so there is no confusion on either party on the standard that you’d like it completed.
A typical day
Depending on the pet, if they are active and like to run, they will be able to run to their hearts content. If they love to chase a toy, they will be tired out. If they are allowed to go to a dog park or a pet gathering, then depending on scheduling that will happen as well. I am able to board and sit dogs up to 40lbs with a good temperament. My wife and I have a Maltipoo named Koda and he is fixed and does love to play after he gets to know his future friends. So be aware, when you come to get your fur baby, they will be well worn out and ready for bed. They will have access to the whole house and a fenced in backyard. Walks, food and treats will be discussed on a case by case basis, dependent on your child’s needs. Training can be provided as well on a case by case basis. I am here to ensure your pets safety as well as provide enrichment for them.

Pet care experience
I’ve had pets since I was young and have loved each one. I’ve house sat/pet sat about every animal I can think of. From dogs and cats to horses and goats. I love them all. I’m not a certified dog trainer, but I have been told I should become one. I am looking forward to meeting and falling in love with some more animals and giving some tips on how to train young and old dogs if tips are wanted.

Derrick was awesome woth my dogs. They seemed to really enjoy his company. He followed instructions an excellent communicator. He sent lots of photo,video, and map of the route they walked. I felt safe knowing my dogs were in good hands.
Clean environment with a fenced in area for some outdoor off-leash time without worrying he’ll be in a street. Very happy with him; responsible, pleasant and even tempered which is just right for my sweet curmudgeon of a pup. Would book again if I’m in town.
Our dogs felt so at home with Derrick. We loved the frequent updates and pictures.
He was excellent with my dogs.
