“Shawna took excellent care of Daisy, my black lab! She sent lots of pictures and videos with updates on how Daisy was doing throughout the day. Shawna obviously has a lot of experience with animals as she was very professional and accommodating during the whole process. I highly recommend her services and I hope for Daisy to stay with her again soon!”

“I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

“We had a great experience with Qasheedra. From the moment we met, she and her family were warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took the time to understand my dogs’ needs and routine, which really put me at ease. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for — I couldn’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”

“Luisa was GREAT! Nikki can be a little shy but she went straight to Luisa. I could tell Nikki was comfortable around her. :) Luisa was responsive, flexibile and very friendly! If I’m ever in the area I would definitely use her again! I loved the pictures she sent while Nikki was with her.”
About: I have had dogs growing up my entire life and now I am fortunate now to have a dog of my own. I have experience with administering oral medication to dogs if need be. Each dog that I take care with I will treat like one of my own and do everything to make sure they are comfortable. I have a job but I will give them all the attention before I leave and when I come home. The main living areas have cameras so I can watch them when I am not home. My husband and I work opposite shifts, so someone is always home. I have a large fenced yard and adequate space for your pet to feel safe and comfortable. I will do anything your pet needs to feel safe and I will welcome them into my family for the duration of their stay with me. We do allow pets in bed so your pet will be on vacation as well Please make sure your pet is on flea and tick prevention and up to date on vaccines. If your pet comes to my house and has fleas, I will charge $150 for the inconvenience. I do not do late pickups. Pickups must happen prior to 9pm or pickup will be arranged the following day.
“Michelle takes great care of fur babies. My dog is still pretty young and very energetic, so the big yard to run and play in is perfect! She communicates well and takes photos too!”

“I bring my 13 year old beagle to Elizabeth weekly. He has serious anxiety problems, but loves going to her house. She always responds to my doggy day care requests immediately. I highly recommend her, if you’re looking for a dog sitter.”
“She's great! Really cared for our scared pups during their first time away from home. Definitely would use her again and recommend to anyone needing a caring and loving sitter for their fur babies.”

About: I’m a dog trainer so I’ve worked with dogs of all temperaments so I’m willing to take the “not so friendly” pups in! I’ve worked with a minimum of 50 dogs, all boarded in my house! (Not all at the same time, hahah! As mentioned previously, I have 2 dogs of my own, not including the dogs I train, so a large portion of my days are spent caring for dogs! My dogs love being outside so they all spend a lot of time out in my backyard. I provide multiple potty breaks a day, typically between 8 and 12 each day. I will provide grooming (bath, brushing, and nails) for each dog that stays in my care! I have a kennel room which is filled with toys, beds, crates, a tv, and windows for fresh air! I’m able to house dogs that aren’t dog, cat, or child friendly as well!
“OMG, after meeting Alberto and his mother my heart smiled! I am a NEW pet parent and i LOVE my fur baby! They treated her as of she was their fur baby!! Alberto is so aweet, gentle, kind and patient. He sent me photos and a video throughout the day! I WILL be using him again!!!”

About: Hello, my name is Kathy and I offer overnight boarding, day care, and walking for mellow and senior dogs and I specialize in caring for cats and kittens. I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm able to set my own hours for the most part and can be available over lunch as well as before and after work. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.
“While I was visiting my brother and his family in Williamsburg, Christene was so wonderful with helping watch my pup Riley while we went out to explore for the day! She was super responsive and her schedule was very flexible. Riley’s a bit of an anxious and skittish doggo but he warmed up to Christene and her family quickly!! I’m so thankful I found Christene to watch Riley. It’s always nerve wracking leaving Riley with someone new, but she gave me a lot of updates and reassurance he was acclimating well!! Her doggo is also the cutest so that’s a huge plus! Highly recommend and I’ll be reaching out again when we visit again!”

“Esteisy was the perfect person to watch my Benji while my family was visiting Williamsburg on vacation . I tried a pet resort first but my dog hated the crate so I looked on Rover. Luisa was GREAT! Nikki can be a little shy but she went straight to Luisa. I could tell Nikki was comfortable around her. :) Luisa was responsive, flexibile and very friendly! If I’m ever in the area I would definitely use her again! I loved the pictures she sent while Nikki was with her.
Our two dogs stayed at Melissa's for part of two days. On the second day they entered comfortably and seemed relaxed. The seemed comfortable with Melissa's dogs. They were of course glad to see us at the end of each day. Melissa was very careful about having dogs on leash before front doors were opened. and always had everything ready for us when we picked up. Melissa had a back yard where they I assume could go out when they wished. I assume that they did not have walks, as there was a back yard.
