About: I usually work with shy, aggressive or fearful dogs or cats. It can take weeks, months or years to befriend them but when you do it's extremely rewarding, especially when an animal someone deems "dangerous" comes out to be the biggest sweetheart. I have tons of patience and I believe every species of animal deserves love and respect. As humans, it's our duty to be the voices and guardians of the animals in our care. They look to us for comfort, guidance, love and peace. That's why I do anything in my power to donate or volunteer at animal shelters because every animal should know that there's humans out there that actually care about their well being. Working with animals is a great career for me. Update; 8/2020 I’ve been volunteering and working with pets as a professional pet care provider for five years now. Through my journey I’ve learned pet CPR and gained dog training knowledge through Poochpals llc as well as worked as a dog handler at walterspetstyles. I’m currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer and furthering my knowledge on Pet care. I would not be at 29 Hanford anymore due to instability, so I’m moving my business down to NYC before heading to PA. We have multiple fences in house and around the property. Pups are also supervised 24/7 and we have a designated dog room just for them. Back porch is also secured with gates. Dogs aren’t allowed on the lawn without human supervision and a 20ft leash. Lawn is fenced. We have strict safety procedures when it comes down to pets and children.

“Tessa took care of two cats and two dogs. One of the cats required a pill every day and one of the dogs needed pills as well. One of the dogs was a senior and needed help with stairs. Tessa did a fantastic job with all of it. I have no fence so she had the added job of leashing and walking the dogs numerous times a day. I would not hesitate to employ and recommend her.”

I grew up around both cats and dogs. I have a non-profit where I super coupon for pet food and pet supplies and donate them to my local animal shelter. 50% of the money I make on here goes towards funding my donations for the animal shelter. About: I cared for Breezy( Portuguese Water dog💕💕) in my home for 4 yrs while her mom went to work each day. Sadly she passed away😞…, but she had the best time and fun with my family and I for 4 fab years. I have also taken care of family and friends dogs while they go away on vacation. I’m a stay at home mom who loves the outdoors and I take several walks a day with my 12yr old dog Frieda, I have a lot of free time during the day between the hrs of 9am -6 pm for in home visits and walks. This schedule works best for me. My family and I LOVE all fur babies. They will always be a huge part of our family. I have a fenced in yard and a super sweet and friendly family dog Frieda whom we adore and love so much! The safety and wellbeing of your pet is my biggest priority.

Through my experience volunteering, I have also received dog training by a professional dog trainer. Rescuing stray cats from the streets and finding them loving homes is also a passion of mine! Growing up my family and I apopted many senior dogs that we loved until they’re last days. Through adopting and caring for senior dogs/cats I have gained experience in administering medicines, changing diapers and recognizing & providing specialty care catered toward each individual dog. I walk around with my purse filled with cat treats and food to feed the strays around my neighborhood:) They say dogs/cats are amazing judges of character so why not set up a meet and greet with me & let your pet decide :) I am so fortunate to be able to do Dog walking/sitting as my full time job, I have my regular customers that I walk/drop in on through out the day, However I am always accepting new clients! My availability is very open, any day , any time, as early or as late as you need. I am able to arrange my other jobs in a way that I can always fit you in! If my availability says open than the appointment is all yours! I am also able to take appointments at the very last moment most of the time so for all you last minute planners please do message me! I live in Goshen, NY so my arrival time would be based on how far your home is located from this point.! Meet & greets are always free. Making sure you are comfortable is my #1 priority. If you are leaving your dog in my care , I want you to feel at ease and totally comfortable. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your pet alone with a stranger so anything I can do to ease your mind and make you feel more comfortable, I will happily do! :) I am currently not providing services out of my home but I do provide house sitting services in your home. House sitting in your pets environment is a great alternative to boarding. Pets are way more comfortable in their home & receive so much more one on one time and attention.
