“Carla was great! I’ve never left my dogs with anyone other than family, so I was honestly really nervous. Now that I have Daisy, my 2.5-year-old rescue, I needed to find someone I could trust. My vet recommended Rover, which helped, and after reading Carla’s reviews I felt much better. She was super communicative before the booking, and when I dropped Daisy off and saw the fenced-in yard (something she doesn’t get at home), I knew she’d love it. Carla also had a separate room set up for her to sleep in, which I really appreciated. When I picked Daisy up, she was happy and relaxed—it was obvious she had a great time. I’ll definitely be booking with Carla again. So glad I found someone I can trust. Thanks, Carla!”

“First time using Rover and super apprehensive… but Alexis made the experience of leaving my puppy behind super comforting. I was kept updated on Khloe and what she was doing. Comments throughout the day which I appreciated. I definitely recommend Alexis and will use her again and again.”

“I really appreciate how wonderful Sandra is with my Bella! I love that she sends pictures and updates. It's nice to able to relax while we're away because we know our doggy is safe and well cared for.”

“This is my 3rd time leaving our precious pup with Daniel & his wife. They are such kind people and I always feel comfortable with leaving my pup with them. They are very professional and have great communication.”

“Cindy was wonderful! She happily accepted our 5 year old Lab for a 4 day stay with only 4 day’s notice. Just when we were feeling guilty about not bringing Sybil on our trip a pic of her looking comfy and happy would show up to make us smile and know she was being taken good care of. Sybil enjoyed her stay at Cindy’s beautiful property and enjoyed her walks in the country too! Absolutely top notch stay in every regard.”

About: Hello all! I’m Michael, and I looking forward to caring for your pup. I’m experienced with all ages and I treat every pup like part of the family. (Due to my current living situation, I am ONLY allowed to dog board/house-sit hypoallergenic dogs or dogs that shed minimally.) Let’s connect! My availability varies throughout the week but I can be more than flexible to accommodate your pets needs. Whether it’s taking your dog for a quick walk or boarding for a weekend, I’m your guy. I care for pets by trying to keep a clean environment at all times. Cleanliness is very important to me as I find it very important for general health.
“Julia did a wonderful job taking excellent care of Sunny while we went out of town! Knowing he was with her allowed us to really enjoy our vacation. She sent us pictures and videos each day, which we greatly appreciated! I highly recommend her! Thank you, Julia!”

“I was very pleased with the boarding service provided by Nina M. The pictures and videos were great and I felt very comfortable knowing Luna was being well taken care of. I would highly recommend this Rover sitter.”

“This was our second time boarding Billie with Sonia and her family, and we are so glad to have found someone local who takes such good care of Billie! Thank you to Sonia, Brian, and Vivian!”

“My dog Griffin has been to other Rover sitters and this was the first time he showed me that he was completely comfortable from the moment he walked in the door at our meet and greet! He walked around the place like it was his own home! Amy and her family took care of Griffin for a 2 night stay. I was so happy he would be able to play with her kids and the other dogs there, as he loves attention from all beings. I will look to see if Amy is available any time Griffin needs sitting again! Thanks again, Amy!”

“This was our first experience leaving our pup, Maddie (5 1/2 months), with a person who was not a family member. Morgan seems very knowledgeable regarding dogs. It was apparent that Maddie was well cared for during her one night stay. We would definitely use Morgan again to take care of our pup. Jeanne P.”

“Dawn was absolutely amazing. She sent photos and videos and made me feel like she really cared about Zuki very much. we can’t wait to have zuki with dawn again. thank you so much!”

About: I have 15+ years of experience boarding and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, providing a safe and loving environment for dogs has been a part of my life for many years. My family has a long history of boarding and breeding hunting dogs through established bloodlines in Scotland, giving me experience with dogs and their individual personalities from an early age. I intentionally board no more than three guest dogs at a time. Keeping our guest list small allows me to provide personalized attention and gives each dog the opportunity to settle into our home and become part of the family during their stay. 🏡 A true home-away-from-home: I don't routinely use cages or kennels. Our guests are welcome to freely roam and enjoy the home just like our own resident dog, Benji does. If your dog is crate-trained and you prefer that their normal crate routine be maintained, we're happy to accommodate that as well. 🐾Room to explore: My home sits on two acres with a beautiful pond, and walking trails offering plenty of interesting sights and smells for supervised outdoor adventures and potty breaks. 🌳Right on the Heritage Trail: I am fortunate to be located directly along the Heritage Trail, making it easy to incorporate leashed walks, fresh air, exercise, and plenty of sniffing into our guests' stays. 🐶 All shapes, sizes & personalities welcome: From little pups to gentle giants, energetic personalities to professional couch loungers, we understand that every dog is different. I do take the time to learn your dog's routine, personality, preferences, and comfort level. 📸 You'll receive photos and updates throughout your dog's stay, so you can see how they're doing and enjoy your time away with peace of mind. 🚗 Transportation is also available for an additional fee, depending on location, and I am happy to accommodate extended stays of 7+ nights. My goal is simple: provide a warm, comfortable place where your dog can enjoy their own little vacation while you're enjoying yours. Rest assured, during your pups stay they will be only with a familiar face, Benji the house resident and myself :)❤️🐾 Pet care is a natural part of our everyday routine. Because I welcome a maximum of only three guest dogs at a time, I'm able to give each pup plenty of individual attention throughout the day. Our guests enjoy regular leashed walks and potty breaks, including walks along the beautiful Heritage Trail located right by our home. There is plenty of time for play, exploring, naps, cuddles, and simply relaxing with us around the house. I do my best to maintain each dog's normal feeding, sleeping, walking, and medication schedule so their stay feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I also welcome extended stays of 7+ nights and offer transportation for an additional fee when needed. My home is located on two beautiful acres with a pond and direct access to the Heritage Trail, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor time, adventurous sniffs, and leashed walks. Inside, I provide a cage-free, home-style environment. Guest dogs have free roam of my home and are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in kennels. I will use a crate if an owner requests it because that is what their dog is accustomed to at home. I accept dogs of all sizes and personalities and take time to learn about each dog’s temperament, routine, habits, and individual needs before their stay. I limit boarding to a maximum of three guest dogs at a time so I can provide close supervision and personalized attention. With more than 15 years of dog-boarding and care experience, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment is always my priority. Owners also receive regular photos and updates while they’re away. I encourage clients parents to check in whenever they would like - even a facetime here and there would be nice!
“Sujanna is an amazing person clearly cut out for the job that she does. She took amazing care of Rebel and was very communicative with Rebel’s daily activities. She sent pictures and videos detailing day’s events and best of all, Rebel was clearly so happy with her. I will not look elsewhere if I need a sitter again. Thank you so much Sujanna.”

“Highly recommend Melissa! My anxious pup settled in quickly and was clearly treated like family. Melissa provided my dog activity, enrichment, and affection, all while keeping me updated with regular communication. It’s rare to find someone who cares this much. We will definitely book with her again!”

“I am very happy with the care that my Dallas received while staying with Christina. Dallas is a timid dog and I was concern that she would have problems being away from home. But she was fine, Christina took good care of her and that means a lot to me. I like to travel twice a year and I will be using Christina for all of my future travels!”

“Boarding Charlie at David's place went great. David was communicative throughout, and he was undaunted by Charlie's complicated medicine schedule. He even figured out a new way to get Charlie to take his pills. He also supervised his little kids around Charlie to be sure Charlie didn't get overwhelmed. I'd definitely use him again.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Leib as our dog sitter! He was caring, responsible, and clearly loves animals. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in such good hands, and the updates and pictures were so appreciated. Our dog came home happy and well cared for. Leib truly went above and beyond, and we would absolutely recommend him!”

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
