“We are SO thankful that Tina was available to watch our Ranger. She was so patient with his needs and gave us updates all the time while he was there. She is truly loving and we were able to enjoy our vacation time because of her. It’s very obvious how much she loves animals. We know our Ranger had a good time because he was very relaxed during pick up and Tina was able to provide him with a safe and relaxing environment. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“We used Morgan, and actually Rover.com, for the first time. My husband dropped off Laska (our hound mix rescue dog), and noticed that she seemed happy to go with Morgan. For us, this is a big deal because she's been through a lot. When we used the kennel Laska would fight us going in, and would come home stressed out and completely out of it. This was not the case after picking up Laska from Morgan's. Laska was clean, happy, and not stressed out! This was a first for her! Laska did have some separation anxiety, so she chewed her bed up. That was our fault because we forgot to tell Morgan about the routine that we have when we leave the house. As a result, we thought Morgan would tell us that she wouldn't watch Laska again, but to our delight, Morgan said she will take her in the future.”

“Alexis was great with our Archie! She was attentive to his needs, gave him lots of love and nice long walks, which he loves! She also sent us pictures throughout the day. We’ll ,without a doubt, book with her again in the future!”

“Jadyn was so so great with my girls! this was a last-minute request and she helped us out. No problem and I got two very happy very tired puppies when I picked them up, could not recommend her more for any of your doggy daycare needs.”

“Pepper had a good time with Amy and her family. Amy is very easy to communicate with and she sent updates with pictures/video. We will definitely schedule a play date with Amy in the next couple of weeks.”

About: Hello all! I’m Michael, and I looking forward to caring for your pup. I’m experienced with all ages and I treat every pup like part of the family. (Due to my current living situation, I am ONLY allowed to dog board/house-sit hypoallergenic dogs or dogs that shed minimally.) Let’s connect! My availability varies throughout the week but I can be more than flexible to accommodate your pets needs. Whether it’s taking your dog for a quick walk or boarding for a weekend, I’m your guy. I care for pets by trying to keep a clean environment at all times. Cleanliness is very important to me as I find it very important for general health.
“Fig had a wonderful time with Jane and her family. We were nervous as he can have some destructive habits when his separation anxiety kicks in, but Jane and Michaela put me at ease during the meet and greet. I insisted on bringing his large crate so that he didn't eat their house if they weren't home, and they were so comfortable with him after the first day that they didn't even need the crate. Fig had a great time, and I was reassured with daily photos of him playing frisbee and generally being spoiled. Highly recommend. Fig will definitely be visiting again.”

“Sandra took great care of my dog. She made sure to stick to his usual routines and habits while keeping me updated the whole time and even sent me pictures so I could see him while I was away. I highly recommend her services:)”

“Jake truly knows how to treat the pups. The pictures I received during Dublin’s stay with them almost brought a tear to my eye. He was having so much fun I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. Fantastic sitter, walker, story time reader. Your dog will be in heaving staying with this guy!!!!!!! Recommend him 10000000%”
“This was my first time using rover and I could not have been happier. Fiona was so sweet and treated my Lucy like her own! I felt at ease knowing she was in good hands while we were out of town. I’ll definitely be using her again!!”

“Maria (and family) were lifesavers and saved our trip by having availability last minute when another sitter canceled on us. Our dogs looked so happy and loved while we were gone. Definetly recommend and look forward to using her again!”
“Julia is great! Maggie loved being there. She took great care of her. I was very comfortable leaving her. I knew she was in good hands!! She sent me updates and pictures. 100% satisfied!”

“I was a little nervous leaving my puppy for the first time, but Cristina was great with our precious fur baby Milo. Constantly sending pictures and videos. She was quick to respond with any of my concerns. She gave me a peace of mind. I highly recommend her services.”

“Tiffany took great care of my dog. The photos she sent during my time away were comforting, in that I could see that the dog was both healthy and having a good time. I was a little worried because I haven't had her too long and she's a rescue, so I didn't want her to feel displaced again. However, she settled right in at Tiffany's and settled back in at home, easily, which shows that she was not overly anxious about having been dropped there, thanks to the wonderful care she was provided.”

“The care for my Boy Chip was just amazing I felt so good leaving him with Lauren He was in great care . I saw so many pics n vids she sent me, he has d a blast and he was happy in every pic/vid I could tell he was very well Cared for i would definitely recommend Lauren for any dog moms out there ur dog will be in great care Thanks again Lauren 💛”

“Rocky loves staying with Kathryn and her family. She is very attentive, keeps me updated and also sends me pictures. I always feel at ease leaving him with her because I know he’s being very well taken care of. I’ve been taking Rocky to her for a while now and will continue to do so, I definitely recommend her :)”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
