Amanda is absolutely conscientious and dependable, but what REALLY shines is the calm demeanor and gentle nature that won over our old but still a bit rambunctious Mac immediately. Dogs always seem to know who to trust and he wasn't wrong. Sad to see her go, but we'll most definitely hire her again!

I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and other pets as both a pet owner and a dedicated caregiver. I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and structured environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. I follow feeding schedules carefully, ensure fresh water is always available, and administer medication when needed, always following the owner’s instructions closely. Pets in my care are treated like family. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and individual needs, making sure they receive proper exercise, affection, and supervision at all times. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care so both pets and their owners can feel at ease. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to caring for your pets. lam available on weekdays and weekends, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet your pet's specific needs. Whether it's playtime, walks, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I make sure they feel loved and well cared for at all times. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: My name is Morgan. I love animals no matter what type, breed, size or age. I have one dog and three cats, all of which I rescued from animal shelters. I love my pets more than anything, if you choose me to watch your pets, I can guarantee you I’ll treat them like my own pets! I am very organized and personable. I pride myself in being very tidy and respectful, especially while inside your home. I will focus 100% of my time on your pets while I am working with them because I find it very important to always show animals the love and attention they deserve. Please feel free to ask me any questions about me, my experience or my availability! I look forward to hearing from you! Pet care is honestly just woven into my daily routine at this point, it doesn't feel like a separate task. My mornings start with feeding and a walk, which actually gives me a great reason to get outside and move before I sit down to work. Throughout the day I'm mindful of keeping things consistent for them, meals, playtime, making sure they're not just sitting alone for too long. Evenings are usually when we wind down together, which I genuinely look forward to. It's one of those things that adds structure to my day without feeling like a chore, more like a grounding ritual than a responsibility. I care for pets the same way I'd want someone to care for mine, with consistency, attention, and a lot of patience. In my own home, that means sticking to a routine they can rely on: regular feeding times, daily walks or play sessions, and making sure their space is clean and comfortable. I pay close attention to their moods and energy levels because animals communicate a lot through behavior, and catching when something feels off early makes a big difference. When it comes to caring for a client's pet, I make it a priority to understand their specific needs before I ever step through the door. Every pet is different, different diets, different temperaments, different routines, and I take detailed notes on all of it. I follow the owner's instructions closely, keep their environment familiar and stress-free, and always communicate updates so the owner feels confident and informed while they're away. I treat their home with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, and I treat their pet like my own.

About: I am a professional dog walker and pet sitter with over twenty years of hands on experience caring for animals. I recently moved to Suffolk County, New York from the Upper West Side of Manhattan after closing my small business in the city. Long Island has been an amazing change for us and we truly love being here. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and have shaped my career for more than two decades. Now that I work from home, I find myself really missing the daily connection with pets. I am certified in pet grooming and have experience in animal behavior as well as light training. I love teaching dogs fun tricks like giving kisses and building trust with them through patience and consistency. I also have experience working as a veterinary technician and receptionist, which has given me a strong understanding of animal health and communication with pet owners. I still maintain several wonderful clients from my time in Manhattan and I am excited to grow my services here in Suffolk County and meet new dogs and their families. About This Sitter Animals have always been my passion for as long as I can remember. I never imagined how far this path would take me, but I truly cannot picture myself doing anything else. Caring for pets feels natural and rewarding to me, and I am grateful every day to be part of their lives. Why I Love Dog Sitting I have loved dogs since the first time I was able to have one of my own. The more I learn about different breeds and personalities, the more my appreciation grows. Every dog has its own temperament and charm, and getting to know them is one of my favorite parts of this work. Meet My Pets In loving memory of Miah. Jenna is currently my active little companion. They are two beautiful Chihuahuas who have filled my life with joy and laughter. About My Home We live in a small four bedroom house in Coram with a backyard that offers space for fresh air and outdoor time. My Experience Administering Medication Yes. I am comfortable giving oral medications only. Pet care fits into my routine very naturally because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends, especially afternoons and evenings. Since I am home often, I can provide consistent attention, walks, feeding schedules, and check ins without rushing. I live in a small four bedroom home in Coram with a backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, pets are never left unattended for long periods and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I have over twenty years of experience working with animals, including veterinary office experience, so I am very observant of behavior changes and health concerns. I also have one senior toothless small house dog who is gentle and used to other pets, but I always introduce animals slowly and respectfully based on their comfort level.

Amanda is so sweet and perfect with our dog and cat. The dog can be quite nervous, but her calm demeanor meant that they became fast pals. Amanda walked him a bit longer than she had to and lavished us with tons of adorable photos. She asked thorough questions to make sure that his medication was properly dispensed and about his routine to make sure he was behaving normally. I cannot recommend her more!
