4. Tricia P.
“Tricia has joined my high-energy dog and me for our morning walks for close to two years now, assisting when my pup spots what she perceives to be a tasty treat and helping if we encounter off-leash dogs. She has also provided daytime care for my dog, who has great and boundless affection for Tricia. Tricia pays attention and is a calm, caring, and competent presence that soothes my dog’s separation anxiety.”

About: Growing up, we always had animals in the house. We currently have Milo, a handsome but stubborn Chow German Shepard mix and Frankie, a rambunctious orange tabby. We also have Lucy, a petite black cat. I’m comfortable administering medication, such as insulin, if necessary. I started using Rover as a way to get more involved in animal care. I received my MBA from Stony Brook University in 2019 and have been searching for something I’m really passionate about. I truly believe that animal care could be my future. I hope to work with a Vet or create my own business someday. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to reach out. Thanks! ! ! I currently have a full time job with a hybrid schedule and I have my own car. I have hour long breaks and a lot of flexibility on my work-from-home days. I have a fenced in backyard where my dog and cat like to roam. Taking dogs to parks can be tricky if they do not socialize well with others.
6. Julia L.
“Julia has done a great job with my active boxer mix.”
7. Abby R.
“Abby is an animal lover. She grew up with a dog so she knows the responsibility of caring for a pet. She has watched friends and families dogs while they were away or at work. She is responsible, kind and loves all animals as if they were her own.”
8. Carlos Andrés P.
“Carlos was great and patient! Rocco is very hard to be around because he’s a barker. However, It only took 5-10 minutes for Rocco to be confortable around Carlos. That’s how good he is and the best thing about Carlos is that he’s coming back! A++”
9. Daniela G.

He is so understanding of any special requests or needs for my puppy and taking care of her in such a kind and genuine way. I have such a sense of peace knowing he is taking care of her while I am at work. Would recommend Ryan time and time again!”

14. Tiffany M.
“Tiffany is the most loving and caring pet person I know. She cares for much more than just her own pets. Her eyes light up whenever a dog passes. Tiffany volunteers for a dog rescue, and is truly dedicated to animal rights. When asked to pen a testimonial for her as a responsible and loving dog caregiver, I did not hesitate. If you are looking for someone to care for your dog as you would yourself, Tiffany will go above and beyond. Highly recommended.”
15. Brett W.
“Brett was absolutely amazing with our boy, Tex. I had to go away for a weekend and the person I had set up to walk Tex had to leave town (my fiance was able to care for him but is diabled so couldn't walk him) so I was in a bind. I signed up on Rover and found Brett. She met with Tex before I left and she was amazing. THEN...another friend who was going to walk Tex, suddenly became sick and had to cancel a few walks (I was already 8hrs away and panicking). Brett stepped in last minute and covered those walks too! I don't know what I would've done without her!”
16. Jenni M.
“I cannot say enough good things about Jenni. She is highly dependable, kind, and thoughtful, and it is reflected in her work as a pet care giver. I have never seen an animal not take an immediate liking to her. She has cared for both dogs and cats for many years both personally and professionally, and that is only one of the reasons she is always my first choice in pet sitter when I head out of town. It is such a relief knowing that you have someone you trust giving your pets all of the love while you are away. She always sends lots of wonderful pictures of our boys while we are out of town, makes sure they get lots of exercise through play and lots of treats (to balance out the exercise), and always gives them a nice long brushing (their favorite). One of our cats has some medical issues which makes his care a little more complex. Jenni always follows his schedule to a T and gives us thorough reports on how he is doing and if anything seems a little off with his behavior. You can tell she has really gotten to know our pets. It is amazing to have someone we know we can always rely on! Thank you, Jenni!!”
17. Brie M.
About: I absolutely adore all kinds of pets. Ever since I was little I would take care of the neighbor's cats and dogs, and it created a passion inside of me to love animals. I am currently taking online classes at STC and I am usually free from 11 am-1 pm and after 5 pm to check on any pets. For my own pets I love to be with them, any time I pass by an animal in my home I feel the need to give the pets and sometimes a little treat.
18. Sarah S.
“Sarah is a very caring compassionate person especially when caring for animals If I ever need a pet sitter even last minute she is always there and on time.”
19. Melissa D.
“Missy is a biologist by degree and a lover of all animals. She grew up with dogs since she was a baby and has always cared for the family dogs growing up. When she went to college, she rescued her own dog and cared for him like he was her child. Mako was a very large dog, 100+ pounds, and loved life. He sadly got spine cancer and Missy was a resilient dog mom. He became paralyzed in his lower bag through the back legs and she dedicated all of her free time to make sure he enjoyed the rest of the life he had. She carried him outside to the bathroom, cleaned up after many accidents because he had no control, bought him wheels so he could still run around, and helped him go to the bathroom before bed. She's also pet sat for friends and other disabled dogs in the past that she met through Facebook. I would trust Missy to take excellent care of any dog.”
20. Melissa M.
“Melissa was fantastic with our Dalmatian puppy Spot! Our furry baby adored his walks with Melissa and looked forward to them every day. Melissa took the time to understand our puppy's needs and always gave us updates for each walk, along with photos. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of a dog walker. Thanks so much, Melissa!”
