“Takes the dog on nice long walks as requested and was very conscientious of how the dog was behaving and whether or not she was eating her food etc. Katharine went above and beyond to hand feed her when she wasn’t eating! Will definitely be calling Katharine again. Thank you!”

“Amanda is absolutely conscientious and dependable, but what REALLY shines is the calm demeanor and gentle nature that won over our old but still a bit rambunctious Mac immediately. Dogs always seem to know who to trust and he wasn't wrong. Sad to see her go, but we'll most definitely hire her again!”

“Mekayla arrived early for our meet and greet followed by a short walk. My pups warmed up to her almost instantly, they seemed sad to see her leave. Mekayla is kind, gentle with the pups and such a pleasure to talk to. Can’t wait for more sessions!”

“Madison is great! Great communication, followed all the steps needed to properly walk Enzo and went above and beyond to ensure my dog was taken care of. The photos provided during the walks were a nice touch and shows that Madison provides high quality customer service!! I would highly recommend Madison and would definitely use her services again in the future.”

About: I have always had a natural intuition for animals feelings and needs. My love for pets is what sparked me to take on pet care. I have been a dog walker/dog sitter for over a year and I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for. I grew up with a household of pets myself! I am currently working part time along with attending law school. My schedule is pretty flexible and I could accommodate times to take care of your pet! I will attend to the needs of your pet in a loving matter and approach, I will be sure they will be walked, fed, loved and cared for and anything else you would like me to do for them!
About: Hi! My name is Allie, I'm moving back home to Long Island after graduating with my Master’s Program for Speech-Language Pathology from SUNY New Paltz. I have been dog sitting/walking since I was 14 years old for dogs of all different types of breeds, sizes and behaviors! My neighbors, family members, and friends have used my services to provide care of their fur babies while on vacation, a long weekend trip, or even during work hours! I have experience with small and big dogs and have cared for multiple pups at once. Between gaining experience on Rover and working for a company called “Long Island Pet Nanny”, I’ve gained great experience taking care of all different types of pets(dogs, cats, birds, etc.) with various personalities. I feel confident that I can provide great service for you and your pet and hope it can make your day a bit easier! 🐕🐈 I will be moving back to Long Island and I’m looking to help out during the summer with potential to continue into the year! I am as flexible as I can be with my schedule- if you have requests please let me know! I always try my best to work things out 😊 In your home, I will follow your instructions very carefully. I pay close attention to detail such as to where the dog or cat is allowed, how long the pet needs to be walked/played with, what they are fed, and if they require medications. I hope to gain your pets trust and love while creating a bond with them and ensuring they’re happy and healthy!

About: My name is Morgan. I love animals no matter what type, breed, size or age. I have one dog and three cats, all of which I rescued from animal shelters. I love my pets more than anything, if you choose me to watch your pets, I can guarantee you I’ll treat them like my own pets! I am very organized and personable. I pride myself in being very tidy and respectful, especially while inside your home. I will focus 100% of my time on your pets while I am working with them because I find it very important to always show animals the love and attention they deserve. Please feel free to ask me any questions about me, my experience or my availability! I look forward to hearing from you! Pet care is honestly just woven into my daily routine at this point, it doesn't feel like a separate task. My mornings start with feeding and a walk, which actually gives me a great reason to get outside and move before I sit down to work. Throughout the day I'm mindful of keeping things consistent for them, meals, playtime, making sure they're not just sitting alone for too long. Evenings are usually when we wind down together, which I genuinely look forward to. It's one of those things that adds structure to my day without feeling like a chore, more like a grounding ritual than a responsibility. I care for pets the same way I'd want someone to care for mine, with consistency, attention, and a lot of patience. In my own home, that means sticking to a routine they can rely on: regular feeding times, daily walks or play sessions, and making sure their space is clean and comfortable. I pay close attention to their moods and energy levels because animals communicate a lot through behavior, and catching when something feels off early makes a big difference. When it comes to caring for a client's pet, I make it a priority to understand their specific needs before I ever step through the door. Every pet is different, different diets, different temperaments, different routines, and I take detailed notes on all of it. I follow the owner's instructions closely, keep their environment familiar and stress-free, and always communicate updates so the owner feels confident and informed while they're away. I treat their home with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, and I treat their pet like my own.

He’s always extremely excited to see her again, she stayed with him to calm him down when he was howling out of loneliness, she always replies quickly, and she’ll even bake cookies for the owners. Medford dog parents share their Rover experiences
Julia has been great to work with and an immense help with Kevin. She arrives on time (or within a few minutes of the scheduled time) and promptly gets Kevin out on his hour long walk. She often stays a little past the hour and makes sure Kevin is all good to go again in his crate. Definitely would recommend her to anyone needing a dog walker.

Amanda is absolutely conscientious and dependable, but what REALLY shines is the calm demeanor and gentle nature that won over our old but still a bit rambunctious Mac immediately. Dogs always seem to know who to trust and he wasn't wrong. Sad to see her go, but we'll most definitely hire her again!
This was the first time I booked Ashley. She came by and met Precious before she walked her and she was a very sweet young lady and she seemed to really like Precious and Precious liked her. Ashley said Precious was an easy walk for her which I was surprised because she is a big dog and she doesn’t like other animals. Ashley is just starting on her Rover journey, but I would definitely use her again in the future.
