“Crystal recently began walking my dog once a week. She took the time to come and meet my pup and myself prior to beginning which was greatly appreciated and made me feel more comfortable. Her love of animals is so apparent and she has been extremely communicative with me thus far. I completely trust her and I know my dog is enjoying her weekly walks with her. About: Pet Experience: capable of walking multiple dogs, capable of walking big dogs, experience with allergies, experience with potty training and basic command training :) :) I’m currently working from home most days with some days in the office. Dogs are never alone more than 3 hours at a time :) Fenced in yard, nice area to go on walks, plenty of visitors going by daily. Please note the fence is only 4ft so no jumpers please

About: Growing up, we always had animals in the house. We currently have Milo, a handsome but stubborn Chow German Shepard mix and Frankie, a rambunctious orange tabby. We also have Lucy, a petite black cat. I’m comfortable administering medication, such as insulin, if necessary. I started using Rover as a way to get more involved in animal care. I received my MBA from Stony Brook University in 2019 and have been searching for something I’m really passionate about. I truly believe that animal care could be my future. I currently have a full time job with a hybrid schedule and I have my own car. I have hour long breaks and a lot of flexibility on my work-from-home days. I have a fenced in backyard where my dog and cat like to roam. Taking dogs to parks can be tricky if they do not socialize well with others.

“Brett was absolutely amazing with our boy, Tex. I had to go away for a weekend and the person I had set up to walk Tex had to leave town (my fiance was able to care for him but is diabled so couldn't walk him) so I was in a bind. I signed up on Rover and found Brett. She met with Tex before I left and she was amazing. THEN...another friend who was going to walk Tex, suddenly became sick and had to cancel a few walks (I was already 8hrs away and panicking). Brett stepped in last minute and covered those walks too! I don't know what I would've done without her!”

“Missy is a biologist by degree and a lover of all animals. She grew up with dogs since she was a baby and has always cared for the family dogs growing up. When she went to college, she rescued her own dog and cared for him like he was her child. Mako was a very large dog, 100+ pounds, and loved life. He sadly got spine cancer and Missy was a resilient dog mom. He became paralyzed in his lower bag through the back legs and she dedicated all of her free time to make sure he enjoyed the rest of the life he had. She carried him outside to the bathroom, cleaned up after many accidents because he had no control, bought him wheels so he could still run around, and helped him go to the bathroom before bed. She's also pet sat for friends and other disabled dogs in the past that she met through Facebook. I would trust Missy to take excellent care of any dog.”

About: I absolutely adore all kinds of pets. Ever since I was little I would take care of the neighbor's cats and dogs, and it created a passion inside of me to love animals. I am currently taking online classes at STC and I am usually free from 11 am-1 pm and after 5 pm to check on any pets. For my own pets I love to be with them, any time I pass by an animal in my home I feel the need to give the pets and sometimes a little treat.
