About: I have been an animal lover all my life! I enjoy caring for other people’s animals which I have been doing for over five years, along with four years working in a doggy day care and six years as a vet assistant. I have been with one specific dog family for the past 9 years and even helped the dog give birth! I am also well versed in and enjoy reptiles as well as aquatic animals! Nothing is more special to me than the joy animals bring into my life and the way they can make you see the brighter side of things while still being able to have fun. About: I’ve previously worked for another pet service where I took dogs on walks and did drop-in visits. I also have some experience with cats, but I have a 5-year old dog myself. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs as I dog sat for a family friend for a few months and stayed the night at their house once a week. I would take the dog for walks, spend time with him and give him any medication he needed. I love animals and it doesn’t feel like work to take care of them for me. I am a teacher, so I am free during school breaks and on weekends. When I am not working full-time at school, pet care will be my first priority. I will listen to any requests made by the pet owner for what they want me to do, such as letting them out in a fenced backyard or keeping them on a leash. I also have experience crate training my dog and find that can be a safe place for dogs too.

About: I’ve worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 32 yrs, raised/trained more than 15 puppies to be service dogs & have been doing Animal Assisted Therapy since 1993. I have recently retired, set up my house to be dog friendly and now I have plenty of time to spend with my dogs and your pups! My home is clean and dog friendly with a fenced in backyard. All dogs are allowed on the couch (if you allow that) and my lap (small dogs plz). There are plenty of toys and dog beds for resting:) I also have many baby gates if a dog wants alone time.
